August 6th Police Reports

ARREST

  • Occurred at 4:01AM (8/06) - 182 Naples Road

Justin Lavoie, 20 yrs, was arrested and charged with Disturbing the Peace, Possession of a class D substance (Marijuana), and Minor in Possession of Alcohol.

Police responded to a noise complaint call and upon arrival witnessed 6 youths jumping atop of a camper which was parked in an alleyway. Three of the youths fled but the other 3, one of whom is identified as Justin Lavoie were all spoken to and charged accordingly. Officers learned that the three had been drinking and a search of Lavoie’s vehicle yielded a bottle of liquor. In addition two marijuana pipes were also found in the vehicle and Lavoie was subsequently charged. Additionally, all three were charged with disturbing the peace.

Larceny

  • Occurred at 4:51Pm (8/06) - 249 Cypress Street

Earlier in the month of July this victim reported to police she believed one of the property managers she works with was taking money from the establishment. The victim is a trustee and at the earlier time she reported this she had no direct evidence linking the suspect to the crime. However, on this occasion the victim produced numerous pieces of evidence that indicate the suspect, who is also an official with the property, made two checks out to himself and attempted to cover it up by doctoring paperwork. The suspect will be summoned to court for two counts of larceny.

  • Occurred between 3PM and 11PM (7/26) - 294 Harvard Street

Police responded to CVS for an accidental 911 call but upon arrival a store employee wished to report her bike stolen. She reported it was stolen sometime while she was at work in late July. The bike is a Purple Schwinn mountain bike valued at $75.

Operating after Revocation

  • Occurred between 2:54AM and 3:17AM (8/06) - 96 Boylston Street

An officer on patrol noticed a vehicle exceeding the posted speed limit. Upon speaking with the driver it was learned the man’s license had been revoked. The driver will be summoned to court for Speeding and Operating after Revocation.
