Blog 3/13 - 3/15

3/14/2017 – Animal Call
An officer was dispatched to Tappan Street for the report of a bat call. The animal was caught on the front porch of the house and contained in fishing net. The bat was transferred into a cardboard box and brought to the Massachusetts State Lab.

3/15/17 – Breaking & Entering
An officer at the front desk was approached by two subjects for a report of a past Breaking & Entering & Larceny from their dorm room on Heath St. The victim reports that they had 9 pairs of sneakers stolen, a belt, and some cash stolen from the room.

3/15/17 – Larceny
An officer responded to Heath St. for a larceny report. The victim stated that her cell phone was stolen while she was attending class between 1500 and 1530 hours. The cell phone was an iPhone 6S plus.

3/15/17 – Larceny
An officer responded to Heath St. for a report of a stolen wallet between 1500 and 1730 hours. The wallet contained seventy-five dollars some cash, several credit cards and several personal papers and cards.

Blog for 3/10 to 3/12

3/10/17 – Bike Larceny
An officer on Waldo St. was approached by a subject who wanted to report a past larceny of a bicycle.  The victim stated his bike was taken between 0800 hours on 3/3/17 and 1600 hours on 3/7/17. The bike is described as a brown chocolate color, 1 speed road bicycle.

3/10/17 – Found Property
An officer responded to Gibbs St. for a report of found property. The reporting party stated he picked up a wallet on Atherton Rd. on the evening of 3/6/17 or 3/7/17. An attempt to contact the owner was made but, was unsuccessful.

3/10/2017 – Arrest
Officers responded to Risley Rd to apprehend a subject for a probation violation. The subject was placed under arrest without incident.

3/11/17 – Larceny
An officer responded to a store on Harvard Street for two female shoplifters. An employee stated at approximately 1145 hours two white females, one with red hair in a ponytail, the other with a long black jacket and dark hair entered the store and noticed they were concealing items underneath their clothing. She proceeded to approach the women and asked them to stop, at which point they fled the store. Two females fitting the descriptions were stopped on Commonwealth Avenue and positively identified as the two female shoplifters. Both were taken into custody without incident.

3/11/17 – Larceny
An officer responded to a Larceny Report on Beacon St. The victim stated that somebody stole her wallet out of her purse. An employee stated that he remembered seeing a man hanging around who looked out of place. The victim stated her wallet was taken between 2200 and 2300 hrs. The suspect is described as as a black male, in his late 30's or early 40's, approximately 5'8"-5'9" tall, wearing a dark jacket and a floppy dark baseball hat, and jeans. The wallet is described as a shiny Black Patent Leather Women's Wallet.

3/12/2017 – Found Property
An officer responded to Harvard St. to recover lost property. A subject handed the officer a wallet containing a Mass ID and Santander Bank Card. An attempt to locate and contact the owner was unsuccessful.
