 Monday, August 23

CAR BREAK -  Officers were called to Wolcott Rd regarding a past car break. The victim shared they noticed the car had been rummaged through and property removed. The matter is under investigation.

GRAFFITI - Officers were called to a local school for a report of graffiti. The matter has been referred to the Brookline PD community service department.

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to a call on Rangeley Rd for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The victim stated they noticed property strewn about the car as well as on the ground nearby, though nothing appeared to be taken. Officers are looking into the matter further.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to a report of a package theft from Toxteth St. The victim shared they received email and photo confirmation of deliveries, but the packages were gone when they went to collect them. Officers are looking into the matter further.


Tuesday, August 24

LARCENY - Officers were called to Longwood Av regarding a theft of a necklace. The victim shared they were approached by an individual who removed their necklace and gave them fake jewelry in exchange. The matter is under investigation.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers were called to Commonwealth Av for a report of shoplifting. The reporting party witnessed an individual placing items in a reusable bag. They then became irate with employees when they approached and left without paying.


Wednesday, August 25

CAR BREAK -  Officers were called to Aspinwall Av regarding a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The victim shared that they found the contents of the central console dumped onto the passenger seat and property missing. Officers are looking into the matter further.

BIKE THEFT - Officers responded to Alton Pl for a report of a bike theft. The victim shared that they left the bike inside the lobby of their building, but it was gone the next morning. Officers are looking into the matter further.

BIKE THEFT -  Officers responded to Linden St for a report of a bike theft. The victim shared that they left their bikes on a bike rack and returned to find one missing. Officers are looking into the matter further.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers were called to Heath St regarding a theft of a package. The victim shared the package had been confirmed as delivered but was gone by the time they returned home. Officers are looking into the matter further.


Thursday, August 26

BIKE THEFT - Officers responded to Alton Pl regarding a bike theft. The victim shared that they had secured their bike inside the building, but when they returned, it was missing. The matter is under investigation.


Friday, August 27

SCOOTER THEFT - Officers responded to Thorndike St regarding a theft of a motor scooter. The victim stated it was stolen overnight from their driveway. The motor scooter was recovered later that morning.


Saturday, August 28

BURGLARY - Officers responded to a call on Naples St. The victim reported they returned home to find a window open and back door open. Nothing appeared to be taken. Officers are looking into the matter further.

BIKE THEFT - Officers were called to Boylston St regarding a recent bike theft. The victim shared they left their bike outside a business while they went inside. When they returned, their bike was gone. Officers are looking into the matter further.

BURGLARY - Officers responded to a call on Grove St regarding a burglary of a convenience store. Officers are looking into the matter further.
