Monday, August 1

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers took a report of package thefts that occurred on Marion St. The packages were reportedly delivered in the afternoon and have since been recovered.

GRAFFITI - Officers were alerted to vandalism that occurred on Harvard St. Two individuals attempted to write on town property but fled when confronted.

 

Tuesday, August 2

BURGLARY - Officers responded to Harvard St for a report of a burglary. The reporting party stated a male individual broke through the front door of a store and stole property.

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to Dummer St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they left their vehicle unlocked on the street overnight and returned the next morning to discover property was missing.

ASSAULT - Officers responded to Babcock St for a report, where the reporting party stared a male individual had grown upset and struck the victim multiple times in the face. The perpetrator was placed under arrest.

ANIMAL DISTURBANCE - Officers took a report of a dog attack that occurred at Harry Downes Field. The reporting party shared they let their dog run off-leash at the park, where they encountered another off-leash dog, that acted aggressively and attacked the other one. 


Wednesday, August 3

GRAFFITI - Officers were alerted to new graffiti that appeared overnight on Kilsyth Rd.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers were called to Harvard Av for a report, where the reporting party shared they witnessed an individual conceal merchandise in a reusable bag then attempt to leave without paying. The perpetrator was placed under arrest.


Thursday, August 4

SHOPLIFTING - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report, where the reporting party shared they witnessed an individual attempt to leave without paying for an item in their possession. The perpetrator was placed under arrest.

THEFT - Officers responded to Rangeley Rd for a report, where the reporting party stated they discovered a piece of property was stolen from their residence.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers were called to St Paul St for a report, where the reporting party stated a delivery was left on the front steps of their residence, but when they returned a few hours later to collect it, the package was gone.

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party stated they discovered an individual had attempted to use someone else's identification in order to gain access to bank information.

THEFT - Officers responded to Commonwealth Av for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they left their wallet in an unsecured locker and returned an hour later to discover it was missing.


Friday, August 5

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers were called to Longwood Av for a report, where the reporting party stated they received notification of a delivery, but when they returned a few days later to collect it, the package was gone.

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they discovered someone had filed for unemployment under their name.

THEFT - Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Commonwealth AV. The reporting party stated they stored their backpack in an unsecured locker and returned an hour later to discover their phone, wallet and keys had been stolen.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON - Officers took a report of a suspicious person on Winchester St. The reporting person stated an unknown individual had attempted to open their front door in the afternoon then rummaged through their mailbox.


Saturday, August 6

THEFT - Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Babcock St. The reporting party stated the suspect entered their bedroom and stole property. The perpetrator was summonsed to court.

BIKE THEFT - Officers responded to Browne St for a report, where the reporting party shared they had left their bicycle in the back yard for fifteen minutes in the morning and returned to discover that it was gone.

BIKE THEFT - Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Marion St. The reporting party stated they secured their bike to a bike rack in the early afternoon and returned that night to discover it was missing.

BIKE THEFT - Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Harvard St. The reporting party stated they secured their bike to a bike rack in the evening and returned an hour and a half later to discover it was missing.


Sunday, August 7

FRAUD - Officers took a report of a fraudulent use of a bank card.
