On November 15 a woman came into the police department to report a past larceny. The woman stated that a package was supposed to be delivered to her residence on Aspinwall Ave. on 10/24 and she never received it.

An officer responded to St. Paul St. for a report of suspicious packages. The reporting party stated that she had noticed two boxes by the garage the night before but thought nothing of them. When she saw them again in the morning she checked them and noticed that they both had shipping labels for neighboring addresses and were missing their contents. Officers confirmed with neighbors that one box had been stolen and believe the other was trash that blew away. The matter is under investigation.

While patrolling in the area of Aspinwall Ave. and Kent St. an officer ran a random query of a vehicle and found that the vehicle’s registration had been revoked and the registered owner’s license had been revoked. The officer conducted a traffic stop and confirmed the identity of the driver. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Revocation.

On November 14, an officer was monitoring traffic when he ran a query of a vehicle traveling in the area of Boylston St. and Sumner Rd. The officer found that the registered owner had a suspended license so he conducted a traffic stop. The officer confirmed the identity of the driver and placed her under arrest.

An officer was dispatched to Winchester St. for a larceny report. The reporting party stated that his cell phone had either been lost or stolen earlier that afternoon.

An officer was dispatched to the Lincoln School for a larceny report. The reporting party stated that he had locked his daughter’s bike to a bike rack that morning and it was now gone. The next day the reporting party located the missing bike on Chestnut Street. The incident is being investigated.

An officer was dispatched to Francis St. for a larceny report. The reporting party stated that their two blue Town of Brookline recycling bins were stolen overnight

An officer was dispatched to Freeman St. for a report of suspicious packages. The reporting party stated that when she arrived home at approximately 1650hrs, she discovered multiple packages addressed to various people that had been opened

Officers responded to Commonwealth Ave. for a report of shoplifting. The reporting party stated that she had observed a male party take several items and conceal them in a bag before leaving. The matter is under investigation.
