Police executed a traffic stop for a rejected safety sticker. Upon identifying the driver, it was found that his license had been revoked. The driver was arrested for operating a motor vehicle after revocation.
Occurred 11:05AM (4/29) – 1210 Boylston St.
Police performed a traffic stop for not having an inspection sticker. After identifying the driver, officers discovered that he did not have a Massachusetts license. The driver was arrested for being not duly licensed.
Breaking and Entering and Larceny
Occurred 3:40PM (4/29) – 1915 Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of a person attempting to break into vehicles parked in a rear alley. The caller stated that he observed a white male, 5’10”, thin build, with short brown hair, wearing baggy dark jeans and a white collared shirt, trying the passenger front and rear door handle of the caller’s vehicle in attempts to enter. The caller’s Ipod was visible from the windows of the vehicle. When the caller went outside, the suspect fled. Police are following up on the case.

Arrest
Occurred 3:59AM (4/28) – 226 Harvard St.
Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon identifying the driver, officers discovered that he was not licensed to operate a motor vehicle in Massachusetts in possession of his father’s vehicle, without his knowledge, and that he had never been issued a learner’s permit/license. The driver was subsequently arrested for being not duly licensed.
Assault
Occurred 5:19AM (4/28) – Beacon St./Saint Marys St.
Police responded to a report of a verbal argument over a cab fare evasion that became physical. When officers arrived on scene, two men were yelling at each other and one of the men was holding a 2x4. After further investigation, officers arrested one of the men for assault by means of a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.
Fraud
Occurred 12:47PM (4/28) – Harvard St.
Victim reported to police that his debit card had been stolen. The victim stated that he left the card in an ATM machine. When he returned to retrieve the cards, the card was missing. Upon further investigation, the victim found that there were 4 fraudulent charges made with his debit card. Police are following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of malicious damage. The victim stated that a type of epoxy glue had been applied to his gas tank door of his motor vehicle, sealing it shut. The car had been parked in the victim’s driveway overnight. Police are following up on the case.

Victim reported to police that while at a local Starbucks coffee shop, he placed his wallet on a counter. When the victim realized he had left the wallet and returned an hour later, it was gone. Two of the victim’s credit cards were used fraudulently while the wallet was missing. Days later, the wallet was returned to the victim in a package. Police are following up on the case.

Arrest
Occurred 12:12AM (4/26) – Thatcher St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny in progress. The caller stated that she saw two suspects attempting to steal a moped in a parking lot behind her apartment. When officers arrived on scene, the two suspects fled. Officers caught up with both suspects to interview them. After further investigation, one suspect was arrested for an arrest warrant, knowingly receiving stolen property, and malicious destruction of property. The other suspect was arrested for two counts of receiving stolen property and malicious destruction of property.
Larceny
Occurred between 9:45AM and 7:30PM (4/26) – Lancaster Terrace
Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering and larceny. The victim stated that upon arriving home, she noticed that her deadbolt was unlocked and a window screen was leaning up against the wall. The victim’s laptop, charger, and carrying case were missing. Police are following up on the case.
Burglary

Police responded to a report of a burglary at a Pine Manor dorm room. The victims stated that a friend had seen an unidentified female in their dorm room while both roommates were out. The friend observed a light skinned black female with shoulder length curly hair, wearing jeans and a brown sleeveless top, leave with a black bag that appeared to be full. Both victims’ laptops were taken along with a webcam and some money. Police are following up on the case.

Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon further investigation, officers became concerned that the driver was intoxicated. The driver was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor.
Occurred 1:54PM (4/22) – Clyde St./Lee St.
Police performed a traffic stop for a speeding violation. After indentifying the driver, it was discovered that his license was suspended. The driver was subsequently arrested for operating a motor vehicle after suspension.
Fraud
Occurred between 12:00AM (1/1/08) and 12:00AM (6/1/09) – Beacon St.
Victim reported to police that there was an error on her credit report. The victim stated that she had noticed a delinquent account from a local company. Police are following up on the case.
Malicious Damage
Occurred between 3:30AM and 4:00AM (4/21) – Verndale St.
Police responded to a report of malicious damage. The victim stated that sometime in the early morning he heard a loud banging sound coming form outside. When he looked out the window he observed a large green trash bin next to his vehicle. It appeared that his vehicle had been scratch from the collision with the trash bin. Police are following up on the case.

Police responded to Pine Manor College for a report of malicious damage. The caller stated that a glass door of a dorm entrance had been shattered. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 12:30PM and 5:15PM (4/23) – Stetson St.
Police responded to a report of malicious damage. The victim stated that a graffiti had been drawn on the door to her apartment. The victim had recently posted signs indicating that her apartment was for sale. She has no idea as to why she was targeted as she has not had any problems with anyone in the complex. Police are following up on the case.

Victim reported to police that her kitchen window had been broken. After further investigation, officers determined that a small rock was thrown at the window causing damage to the outside screen as well as the outer window. Police are following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of malicious damage. The victim stated that someone had thrown a bottle of wine threw her bedroom window. She awoke when she heard the window break and glass fragments fell on her bed. Police are following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of malicious damage. The victim stated that the bottom right glass panel of her front door had been smashed. She noticed the damage when she let her roommate into the apartment. Police are following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of a stolen bicycle. The caller stated that his wife’s bicycle had been locked to a pole in the basement and was now missing. The basement is accessible by all tenants and the outside door to the basement was unlocked. Police are following up on the case.

The caller stated that he observed a white female in her 40’s with short hair, wearing a blue jacket and jeans, place three pairs of sandals into a green bag. Police responded to a larceny report. The victim stated that she had a friend over recently who had been asking about her MP3 player. After the friend left, she noticed that her Ipod was missing. Police are following up on the case.

Victim reported to police that her bicycle had been stolen. She stated that she had parked and locked her bicycle to a street sign in front of her residence. When she went to work, she noticed her bicycle was missing. Police are following up on the case.

Police responded to a breaking and entering and larceny report. The victim stated that upon entering her apartment, she observed that her laptop was missing. Later in the day, the laptop reappeared in her kitchen. After further investigation, officers discovered that the victim’s roommate was responsible for stealing the laptop as well as money from a lock box in her room and two cutlery knives. The roommate was subsequently arrested for breaking and entering and larceny.

Police responded to a report of shoplifting at a local GAP store. Two employees observed the suspect place numerous articles of clothing into a canvas bag and attempt to leave the store without paying for the items. The suspect was arrested for shoplifting as well as being in possession of both class E and class A drugs.

Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that her cell phone went missing after two acquaintances were inside her apartment. She had gone to bed holding her cell phone and woke up to see both the subjects in her room. Later, after the subjects left, she realized her phone was missing. Police are following up on the case.
