  • When exiting your vehicle do not leave your GPS unit or other valuables in your vehicle.
  • If you must leave the device in the vehicle make sure to place it out of view, such as your glove compartment.
  • Leaving the device’s holder or stage in view, also informs people that there may be a GPS device in the vehicle, therefore make sure to take the GPS unit’s holder with you or place it out of sight.
  • If your GPS unit is mounted on your windshield it may tend to leave a suction cup marking on the glass. Make sure to also clean these markings from the windshield, to ensure that there is no evidence of the device in the vehicle.
  • Again, make sure not leave any valuables in your vehicle.
