BY-LAW VIOLATION - Officers were called to the area of Heath St and Yarmouth St for a report of two loose dogs. The dogs returned home without incident, and the owner was issued a citation.
FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they found numerous fraudulent charges to their bank card. The matter is under investigation.

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Rawson Rd for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they left their vehicle unlocked overnight and discovered someone had broken in and removed property. The matter is under investigation.
MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report of malicious damage to property. The reporting party stated that an individual had thrown an object at the glass door at some point during the night, but they had not gained entry. The matter is under investigation.
GRAFFITI - Officers responded to Lawton St for a report of individuals actively spray painting. The reporting party stated they witnessed a group of individuals painting public property. Officers identified three individuals, who will be summonsed to court for defacing and damaging public property.

ANIMAL BITE - Officers took a report of a dog bite that occurred on Middlesex Rd. The reporting party stated the victim leaned in close to the dog's face and was bit. The matter will be handled by the Brookline Health Department.
MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers were called to Fuller St for a report of malicious damage to a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they found that damage had been done to the windshield and the vehicle's body. The matter is under investigation.

BIKE THEFT - Officers responded to Colbourne Cres for a report of a bike theft. The reporting party stated they left the bike in the garage and discovered it missing a few days later. The matter is under investigation.
LARCENY - Officers took a report of a theft of a license plate. The reporting party stated they realized the front license plate had gone missing from their vehicle after parking it in the driveway. The matter is under investigation.
MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers were called to Greenough St for a report of malicious damage to public property. The matter has been dealt with by the Community Service Division.

The reporting party stated they received a pop-up notification informing them that their Amazon account had been hacked and supplying an IT number. The individual on the phone asked for gift cards and personal information in exchange for 'fixing' the problem. The matter is under investigation.
Saturday, March 12
BIKE THEFT - Officers were called to Cypress St for a report of a bike theft. The reporting party stated they had secured their bike to a rack outside their residence but returned to discover it missing after a few days. The matter is under investigation.
PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to Carlton St for a report of a past package theft. The reporting party stated they received notification of the delivery, but the package was missing when they went to collect it the next day. The matter is under investigation.
