Arrest
Occurred 12:59AM (5/6) – Summit Ave./Jenness Rd.
While on patrol, police observed a man acting suspiciously. When the man noticed the officers, he began to walk away quickly. Upon identifying the man, officers discovered that he had a warrant and was subsequently arrested.
Occurred 10:28PM (5/6) – Brook St.
Police responded to a report of an unconscious male who was having trouble breathing. When officers arrived on scene, they found the male sitting in the living room, awake but disoriented. The man was given immediate medical treatment, however refused further treatment at the hospital. Police found a bag of hypodermic needles and heroin paraphernalia next to him. A subsequent investigation revealed more hypodermic needles, 3 plastic bags of heroin, and several used cotton balls were found. The man was subsequently arrested for possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Suspicious Activity
Occurred 4:01PM (5/6) – Francis St./Kent St.
Police responded to a report of suspicious activity. The caller stated that she had observed a group of boys on multiple porches in the area and were possibly stealing bicycles. When officers approached the youths, each boy had a different story for where the bicycles came from. Police are following up on the case.
Larceny
Occurred 5:26PM (5/6) – Pleasant St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that her ATM card had been stolen. There were two unauthorized withdrawals made from the victim’s account. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 4:45PM (4/15) and 4:45PM (5/6) – Stanton Rd.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that her bicycle had been stolen. The bicycle had been leaning against a fence in her yard. Police are following up on the case.

May 5th
Arrest
Occurred 3:54PM (5/5) – Cabot St.
Police responded to a report of suspicious activity. The caller stated that he thought three males were soliciting. Upon identifying the males, officers discovered that one had a warrant and was subsequently arrested.
Occurred 7:44PM (5/5) – 1350 Beacon St.
Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon identifying the driver, officers smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. When officers asked the driver to step out of the vehicle, they witnessed him push a plastic bag in between the driver’s seat and the center console. After further investigation, officers discovered 2 types of pills as well as marijuana in the driver’s possession and he was subsequently arrested for possession of class B and class E drugs.
Indecent Exposure
Occurred 5:00PM (4/28) – Franklin St./Oakland Rd.
Police responded to a report of an indecent exposure. The victim stated that she was walking when a silver four door vehicle pulled up alongside her. The driver of the vehicle appeared to be naked from the waist down. The victim than ran down the street. The driver was described as a white male, 30-40 years old, wearing a winter hat, sunglasses, and a black t-shirt. Police are following up on the case.
Motor Vehicle Theft
Occurred 10:49PM (5/4) – Carlton St.
Police responded to a report of a stolen moped. The victim stated that she had chained her moped to a fence alongside a private lot. When the victim returned, the moped was missing. Police are following up on the case.
Burglary
Occurred 1:45PM (5/5) – Warren St.
Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering in progress. The victim stated that is employed by the homeowners and was upstairs vacuuming when she heard the dogs barking downstairs. When the victim went to check on the dogs, she observed a black male exit from a bedroom and flee the scene down a staircase. The witness provided a description of the suspect and officers immediately responded and began an intensive search. Soon after, officers stopped a male subject who fit the description of the suspect. After further investigation, the man was arrested for burglary.

Occurred 8:39PM (5/4) – Harvard St./Babcock St.
Police observed a subject leave a vehicle parked in a no parking zone. When officers approached, the subject returned to the vehicle. Upon identifying the driver, it was discovered that the driver’s right to operate a motor vehicle in Massachusetts had been suspended. The driver was subsequently arrested for being not duly licensed.
Breaking and Entering and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle
Occurred between 8:00PM and 10:00PM (5/3) – Saint Marys St.
Victim reported to police that her vehicle had been broken into. The victim stated that she parked her vehicle at a metered space and upon returning, realized that items in her vehicle were missing. Two black bags, containing a laptop computer, cell phone, and digital camera, were taken. Police are following up on the case.
Burglary
Occurred 9:58AM (4/24) and 7:30PM (5/3) – Wallis Rd.
Police responded to a report of an attempted burglary. The victim stated that she walked along the side of her house and saw that a patio chair had been placed beside her son’s window. The victim also noted that the screen of the window was pushed out. Police are following up on the case.
Robbery
Occurred 11:00AM (5/4) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of a bank robbery that had just occurred. When officers arrived, they were informed that the suspect was a white male, 5’9” to 6’ tall, late teens to early 20’s, wearing a hooded sweater and something to cover his face, attempted to rob the bank and fled on foot down Beacon Street. The bank employees report that the man did not get any money from the bank. Police are following up on the case.

Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. After identifying the driver, it was found that the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was arrested for operating after suspension.

Police responded to a report of larceny of a license plate. The victim stated that her scooter was parked behind her home overnight. When she went to go to work in the morning, the license plate and screws were missing. Police are following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that his lawn chair had been stolen off of his front porch. Police are following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of graffiti. Officers observed that the tag, which had been spotted earlier in the week, was now filled in with more detail and color. Police are following up on the case.

Occurred between 12:05AM (2/11) and 3:39PM (5/1) – Cypress St.
Victim reported to police that a false bank account had been opened in his name. The victim contacted his bank, which provided a California driver’s license used to open the account. Police are following up on the case.
Malicious Damage
Occurred between 2:11PM (4/30) and 2:11AM (5/1) – Tappan St.
Police responded to a report of malicious damage. Officers observed the right window of the front entrance door to be shattered. There was nothing to indicate that the damage was caused in an attempt to enter the building. Police are following up on the case.
Larceny
Occurred between 12:50AM and 2:05AM (4/30) – Egmont St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victims stated that they had left to go out to eat and upon returning noticed their apartment was in dissary. Four laptop computers, a charger, an Ipod Touch, a backpack, and some jewelry were all found to be missing. Police are following up on the case.

Victim reported to police that her credit cards had been stolen. The victim’s wallet and keys were stolen from the lunchroom of her workplace. Before reporting the incident to police, the victim received a call from a security guard stating her wallet and keys had been found. After retrieving her items, the victim noticed that her credit cards were gone. Police are following up on the case.
