10/29/2015

On October 29th, an officer responded to a residence on Alton Place for a past report of Breaking and Entering. The residents report that when they returned home at the end of the day they noticed things were out of place and several items were missing. There were no signs of a forced entry. This matter is still under investigation.

10/28/2015

On Wednesday October 28th officers at the police station spoke with a victim who came in to report a larceny of a bicycle. Victim reported the bike was taken from his porch. Victim reported locking the bike then returning to find the bike missing. This matter is still under investigation.

10/26/2015-10/27/2015

On October 26th officers were on patrol when they received a report of graffiti on Cypress Street. Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim who reported that not noticing any graffiti on the wall in the morning then returning later that night to see someone vandalized the apartment building. This matter is still under investigation.

On October 26th officers were on patrol on Harvard Street when they observed a vehicle drive by. Officers entered the plate number into the patrol car computer and the results came back that the registered owner of the vehicle had a suspended license. Officers pulled the vehicle over and once it was determined that the driver was the registered owner the driver was placed under arrest without incident.

On October 27th officers responded to a report of a burglary on South Street. The victim wanted to report of a person broke into the house sometime a week ago and stole valuable’s from the home. This matter is still under investigation.

On October 27th officers responded to burglary report on Webster Street. The victim reported returning to her hotel room and finding multiple valuables missing. This matter is still under investigation

10/23/2015-10/25/2015

On October 23rd, an officer was dispatched to local business on Commonwealth Ave. for a past Breaking and Entering.  On scene, the store manager reported arriving to work at 0750hrs found the front door to the business to be broken and forced open. The manger reported missing a large sum of money taken from under the reception desk in the front lobby.  This matter is still under investigation.

On October 23rd, an officer was dispatched to a residence on Coolidge St. for a past report of a stolen bicycle. On scene, the victim stated his bike was locked to a street sign in front of his apartment the night of 10/22/2015. The next morning, he noticed the bicycle, helmet, and u-lock were also missing.

On October 24th, an officer responded to a report of a larceny of a residence on Sherman Rd. On scene, the victim reported, between the hours of 0800hrs and 1600hrs, someone had entered his apartment and took several pieces of jewelry, two electronic tablets, and a cellphone. Victim stated the noticed front door was unlocked. No signs of forced entry present.


On October 25th, an officer was dispatched to a residence on Stetson St. for a past Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle.  Victim reported at approximately at 0030 hours, he had retrieved a couple bags from his trunk of his car and entered his residence. The following morning, the victim noticed the “truck open” indicator on his dashboard was activated.  The victim opened the trunk, which revealed his backpack containing his laptop was missing.

10/25/2015

 October 24, 2015, 1918 hrs.                   Armed Robbery                       
Brookline Police units responded to Cypress St on a report of an armed robbery. Victim reports while working a white male, large build approximately 6’00 tall over 200 lbs, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black sweat pants, and a black mask brandishing a large kitchen knife demanded the victim open the cash register.  After opening the register the suspect picked up and removed the drawer containing the currency and then fled out onto Cypress St toward Chestnut St.. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.  Investigation is ongoing.
