Police Reports 6/20-6/21

Operating after Suspension: 6/21 at 4:05 AM- Harvard St. / Green St.

An officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Harvard St. A query revealed that the driver had a suspended license and he was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Sector 3

Bike Theft: Between 6/20 and 6/21- Columbia St.

An individual reported the theft of a bicycle. The victim stated that he placed his bicycle in his garage on 6/20 at approximately 4:35 PM. When he returned he discovered that his bike was missing. The bicycle was left unlocked.

Sector 9

Operating after Suspension: 6/20 at 10:16 PM- Horace James Cr.

An officer observed a vehicle fail to stop for a stop sign. The officer initiated a traffic stop in the area of Hammond Pond Pkwy. A query revealed that the driver had a suspended license and he was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Police Reports 6/19-6/20

Warrant Arrest: 6/20 at 12:43 PM- Beacon St., Boston

An individual was placed under arrest in the area of Beacon St. in Boston for two warrants out of Brookline District Court and one warrant out of Newton District Court.

Sector 9

Bike Theft: 6/20 at 12:52 AM- Nelson Dr.

An individual reported the theft of a bicycle. The victim stated that he heard a loud noise coming from the area of his open garage. The victim observed an individual riding away on his son’s bicycle. The suspect was described as wearing dark clothing and a black backpack. A search of the area for the suspect yielded negative results.

Police Reports 6/18-6/19

Sector 3

Shoplifting: 6/19 at 10:15 AM- Harvard St.

A CVS employee reported a shoplifting. The employee stated that he observed a male individual conceal items in his clothing and leave the store without paying. The suspect was described as a WM, ~25 years old, short dark hair, wearing a back short sleeve t-shirt with faded gold lettering on the front and the initials "RS" written in large letters, black basketball shorts, black sneakers, and carrying a black hooded sweatshirt. A search of the area for the suspect yielded negative results.

Sector 4

Operating after Suspension: 6/18 at 4:42 PM- Harvard St.

A query of a vehicle’s information revealed that the registered owner had a suspended license. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Harvard St. The driver was confirmed to be the registered owner and she was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Operating after Suspension: 6/19 at 2:45 AM- Washington St. / Juniper St.

A query of a vehicle’s information revealed that the registered owner had a suspended license. The officer initiated a traffic stop at Washington St. and Juniper St. The driver was confirmed to be the registered owner and he was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Warrant: 6/19 at 12:57 PM- Washington St. / Juniper St.

Officers assisted U.S. Marshals with the arrest of a male subject wanted on a State warrant.

Sector 5

MV Theft: 6/18 between 6:45 AM and 3:30 PM- Boylston St.

An individual reported the theft of his motor vehicle. The victim stated that he parked his Toyota Tacoma in the area of Boylston St. at approximately 6:45 AM. When he returned he discovered that his vehicle was missing.

Police Reports 6/17-6/18

Sector 1

Bike Theft: 6/14 between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM- Browne St.

An individual reported the theft of a bicycle. The victim stated that he attached his bicycle to a rack of the front porch of a building. The victim stated that the bicycle might not have been properly secured.

Larceny: 6/17 between 2:00 and 4:00 PM- Pleasant St.

An individual reported the larceny of several pieces of jewelry. The victim stated that she left her apartment to go to the community room located within her building. When she returned to her apartment she discovered that someone had opened her file cabinet and removed several pieces of jewelry. There were no signs of forced entry.

Sector 2

Motorized Scooter Theft: 6/17 between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM- Aspinwall Ave.

An individual reported the theft of a motorized scooter. The victim stated that she locked her scooter to a beam in the rear lot of her residence. When she returned she discovered that someone had cut the cable and stolen the scooter.

Burglary: Between 6/14 and 6/18- Kent St.

An individual reported the breaking and entering of a residence that is currently under construction. The victim stated that he arrived at the home and discovered several of his tools were missing. There were no signs of forced entry.

Police Reports 6/14-6/17

Operating after Suspension: 6/15 at 4:43 PM- Harvard St.

An officer observed two motorized scooters operating erratically. Officers were able to stop one of the scooters in the area of Washington St. A query revealed that the driver had a suspended license and he was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension. The second scooter was unable to be stopped.

Sector 1

Bike Theft: Between 6/12 and 6/14- Parkman St.

An individual reported the theft of two bicycles. The victim stated that unknown suspect(s) stole two bikes that had been located underneath a rear porch. The bikes were left unlocked.

Bike Theft: 6/16 between 12:30 and 4:00 PM- Amory St.

An individual reported the theft of a bicycle. The victim stated that unknown suspect(s) stole a bicycle from his garage. The garage was left open and the bicycle was unlocked.

Shoplifting: 6/17 at 12:26 PM- Beacon St.

A Whole Foods employee reported a shoplifting. The employee stated that he observed a male individual concealing items in a personal bag. The suspect was placed under arrest for Shoplifting.

Sector 2

Motorized Scooter Arrests: 6/14 at 4:45 PM- Kent St. / Aspinwall Ave.

An officer observed two male individuals riding a motorized scooter without helmets. After a brief pursuit, the scooter was involved in an accident with another vehicle. The two male passengers then fled on foot towards the Muddy River. Officers were able to stop the subjects in the area of the Muddy River. The scooter had previously been reported stolen out of Dorchester. Both subjects were placed under arrest for Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Burglarious Tools, and various traffic offenses.

Motorized Scooter Arrests: 6/14 at 5:57 PM- Brookline Ave.

A witness reported to police that two male subjects had attempted to steal a motorized scooter. Officers observed the moped lying on the ground in the area of Brookline Ave. Officers were able to stop two individuals who matched the description in the area. The two individuals were confirmed to be the suspects and they were placed under arrest for Larceny of a Motor Vehicle.

Shoplifting: 6/16 at 8:45 AM- Beacon St.

A Trader Joe’s employee reported a shoplifting. The employee stated that she observed a male individual concealing items in a personal bag. The suspect was placed under arrest for Shoplifting.

Sector 3

Larceny: Between 4/1 and 6/1- Beacon St.

An individual reported the larceny of dental equipment. The victim stated that while she was in the process of moving her office to a new suite, she placed a storage bin within the new suite. Inside the storage bin was approximately $8,500 worth of dental equipment. The victim stated that the bin was removed from the suite sometime between 4/1 and 6/1.

Sector 5

Burglary: Between 6/1 and 6/11- Winthrop Rd.

An individual reported the breaking and entering of a storage unit. The victim stated that sometime between 6/1 and 6/11, unknown suspect(s) entered his storage unit in the basement of his building and stole cash and gold coins. There were no signs of forced entry.

Sector 6

Not Duly Licensed: 6/16 at 1:09 AM- Boylston St. / Eliot Ave.

An officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Boylston Street at Eliot Street. A query revealed that the driver did not have a valid license and he was placed under arrest for Not Duly Licensed.
