8/19/2016
1:20am: A Brookline resident approached and officer
assigned to the front desk of the Public Safety building to report his stolen
motorcycle. The victim stated on
8/18/2016, he had parked his vehicle on St. Mary’s Street at approximately
7:00pm. The next morning, he discovered
the motorcycle was missing. A check of the area for surveillance cameras yielded
negative results.
8/20/2016
8:20am: While on
patrol, an officer was dispatched to Boylston St. for a report of a breaking
and entering into a motor vehicle. The
victim stated he had parked his in front of his residence the night on 8/19/2016.
The next morning, he discovered the contents of the vehicle had been rummaged
through and tossed around the car. The victim discovered his GPS and MP3 player
was missing from the victim.
2:00pm: While on
patrol, an officer was dispatched to Boylston St. for a report of a breaking
and entering of a motor vehicle. The victim stated on 8/19/2016, he had parked
his car unlocked on Boylston Street overnight. The next morning, he discovered
his vehicle had been rummaged through. The victim reported was missing a small
sum of money and GPS.
5:14pm: While on
patrol, an officer was dispatched to a gas station on Harvard St. for a report
of a larceny. On scene, a gas station employee reported a vehicle fled without
paying for gasoline. The employee was able to provide a full description of the
subject and the vehicle. A search of the
area yielded negative results.
8/21/2016
9:00pm: An officer
was dispatched to Pond Ave for a report of a past residential breaking and
entering. On scene, the victim stated
his family had left the apartment making sure to lock both doors as they left
for the day. On their arrival home, the family observed the apartment door open
and the several items missing from their house. The victims reported missing
including a tablet, guitar, prescription medication, and several pieces of jewelry.
This matter is still under
investigation.
