MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report of vandalism. The reporting party stated an individual had drawn random shapes on the wall in the early morning. The matter has been resolved. 

FRAUD - Officers took a report of ID fraud. The reporting party stated someone had successfully changed their RMV access codes without their knowledge or consent. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they received a fax requesting a deposit into a retirement fund on someone's behalf, but the individual never made the request. The matter is under investigation.


Tuesday, March 22

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - Officers responded to Beech Rd for a report of trespassing. The reporting party stated they woke up to a notification of an individual walking through their property and around the residence. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of check fraud. The reporting party stated they discovered a check they had written was altered and then cashed without their prior knowledge or consent. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they hired an individual to do work on their house and made a down payment. The individual failed to do the work and has refused to respond to attempts to make contact. The matter is under investigation.

LARCENY - Officers were called to Washington St for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they parked their car in the lot near their building and discovered the catalytic converter had been removed overnight. The matter is under investigation.

BURGLARY - Officers took a report of a burglary that occurred on Commonwealth Av. The reporting party stated they returned to find doors and lockers open, as well as property missing. The matter is under investigation.


Thursday, March 24

LARCENY - Officers responded to the area of Beaconsfield Rd and Tappan St for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they parked their car in the alley at the rear of their residence and discovered the catalytic converter had been removed overnight. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they were notified that a check had been cashed against their account that were flagged as fraudulent. The matter is under investigation.

LARCENY - Officers were called to South St for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they discovered their license plate had been removed overnight. The matter is under investigation.

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Boylston St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they witnessed a woman break into their vehicle and remove items. The individual has been placed under arrest for breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle.

LARCENY - Officers were called to South St for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated their catalytic converter had been removed from their motor vehicle. The matter is under investigation.

LARCENY - Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Park St. The reporting party stated they parked their vehicle in the parking lot and discovered the catalytic converter had been removed overnight. The matter is under investigation.

LARCENY - Officers responded to Longwood Av for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they parked their vehicle in its designated spot and discovered the catalytic converter had been removed overnight. The matter is under investigation.


Friday, March 25

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers were called to Marion St for a report of a package theft. The reporting party stated they received confirmation of the delivery, but when they went to collect the package, it was gone. The matter is under investigation.

ASSAULT - Officers responded to Beacon St for a report of two individuals fighting. The reporting party stated that a man had struck the other in the head unprovoked. The party responsible will be summonsed to court for assault and battery.


Saturday, March 26

ASSAULT - Officers were called to Commonwealth Av for a report of an aggressive individual. The reporting party stated the man had grown upset due to being unable to complete a transaction. They approached an employee aggressively and did damage to property within the store. The individual will be summonsed to court for assault and damage of property.

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to John St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they discovered someone had broken into their vehicle and removed property overnight. The matter is under investigation.'

ASSAULT - Officers took a report of an assault that occurred on Tappan St. Four high school students were walking on Tappan St at night, when a sedan drove past them and fired rounds of BB guns at them. The vehicle then drove away at a high rate of speed, without further incident. The matter is under investigation.

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they were notified about a possible fraudulent purchase and realized that their vehicle had been broken into. and property had been removed. The matter is under investigation.


Sunday, March 27

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to Beacon St for a report of a package theft. The reporting party stated the package had been delivered, but when they went to pick it up, the box had been ripped open and the contents removed. The matter is under investigation.

BURGLARY - Officers were called to Brook St for a report of a burglary. The reporting party stated they discovered the basement door open and the locking mechanism on the ground, and another person reported property had been removed from the storage unit in the basement. The matter is under investigation.

MV THEFT - Officers responded to Beacon St for a report of a motor vehicle theft. The reporting party stated they left their vehicle unlocked, with the keys inside, and returned a few minutes later to discover their vehicle was gone. The vehicle has since been recovered. The matter is under investigation.


Wednesday, March 16

BURGLARY - Officers were called to Woodland Rd for a report of a breaking and entering. The reporting party stated they discovered someone had entered the premises and done damage to the house. The matter is under investigation.


Thursday, March 17

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to Beacon St for a report of a package theft. The reporting party stated they received notification of the delivery, but the package was gone by the time they went to collect it. The matter is under investigation.

ASSAULT - Officers were called to the area of Beacon St and Washington St for a report of road rage with a firearm shown. There was a dispute between two individuals about a traffic incident, in which one claimed the other cut them off, and one individual stated they had a gun. The individual responsible for the statement will be summonsed to court. 

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Egmont St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they found items in their vehicle strewn about the sears and the floor. The matter is under investigation.

LARCENY - Officers were called to Harvard St for a past larceny. The reporting party stated an individual walked past the register and stole money from the tip jar before fleeing the store. The matter is under investigation.

COUNTERFEIT - Officers took a past report of fraud. The reporting party stated they were selling an item online and were contacted by an interested party. The individual paid in cash, which turned out to be fraudulent bills. The matter is under investigation.


Friday, March 18

ASSAULT - Officers responded to Harvard St for a report of an assault. The reporting party stated an individual became angry after they were unable to exchange a gift card for cash and, after attempting to take someone else's order, threw a hot cup of coffee at the victim. The suspect then left the area. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers were called to Clyde St for a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they discovered fraudulent withdrawals from their bank accounts without their knowledge or consent. The matter is under investigation.


Saturday, March 19

ASSAULT - Officers took a report of a past assault that occurred in Fisher Hill Park. There was a physical altercation between two high school students, during which one struck the other unprovoked. The matter is currently under investigation.

CHECK FRAUD - Officers took a report of check fraud. The reporting party stated they discovered checks had been cashed and processed in different amounts than what they wrote. The matter is under investigation.

LARCENY - Officers took a report of theft. The reporting party stated they discovered checks and a bank card had been taken from their wallet and fraudulent charges had been made. The matter is under investigation.

MV THEFT - Officers were called to Harvard St for a report of a motor vehicle theft. The reporting party stated they parked their vehicle on the street, with the keys inside, and returned to find it was missing. The vehicle has since been recovered.

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Bowker St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they parked their vehicle on the street, unlocked, and returned to discover that the driver's side was open and that property was missing. The matter is under investigation.
