Arrests:
Occurred at 6:41 PM (4/14) – Harvard Street
Officers were travelling on Lawton Street when they observed a group of 5 males riding bicycles. One of the five males was acting very suspicious and nervous when he saw the presence of the officer. Due to the suspicious activity of the male weaving in and out of traffic and turning the opposite way, the officer stopped and queried all five of the boys. One of the boys had a straight warrant out for his arrest and was placed under arrest without incident.
Burglary:
Occurred between 10:00 AM (4/14) and 5:30 PM (4/14) – Longwood Avenue
Officers responded to a report of breaking and entering of an apartment. Upon investigation officers learned that when the residents returned home from work they noticed several items out of place and rummaged through in their home. A laptop and two cameras were taken from the apartment. Neighbors of the building advised police that there was a vehicle with two males inside of it parked out front earlier that night that did not look familiar to the area or building. The vehicle was described to be a gold or silver colored Mitsubishi or similar type of 4 door sedan. No suspects have been located at this time.
Breaking and Entering and Larceny from a Motor Vehicle:
Occurred between 10:00 PM (4/14) and 7:47 AM (4/15) – Carlton Street
Officers responded to a report of breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. Upon investigation officers learned that the passenger window was smashed with an unknown object. One item was stolen from the vehicle.

Arrests:
Occurred at 1:02 AM (4/14) – Harvard Street/ Longwood Avenue
Officers responded to a report of taxi cab fare evasion. Upon arrival officers were directed to the suspect. When they approached the subject to talk, the subject became very angry, loud and aggressive. Officers attempted to calm the subject down but were unsuccessful. Officers attempted to place the suspect who had been drinking into protective custody due to the disorderly conduct, but again the subject struggled with officers. Once officers successfully placed the subject in handcuffs the subject continued to yell profanities and attempted to spit on one of the officer’s face. The subject was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, assault, resisting arrest, and taxi fare evasion.
Larceny:
Officers responded to a report of larceny. Upon investigation officers learned that a laptop computer was stolen from a local doctor’s office storage room. The employees stated the computer was locked up over the weekend and the only persons with access are the cleaning service and the doctors. There is no further information at this time. This case is under investigation.
Breaking and Entering and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle:
Occurred between 5:20 AM (4/11) and 12:00 PM (4/11) – Brookline Avenue
Officers received a report of breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. Upon investigation officers learned that the locks of the two side sliding doors of the van were popped out and several tools were missing from the van.
Robbery:
Occurred at 2:40 PM (4/13) – Beacon Street
Officers responded to a report of a bank robbery. Upon arrival officers learned that a male suspect, 5’4 to 5’5, wearing a ski mask with a long sleeve yellow shirt with stripes on it entered the bank and asked for the money. The suspect then retrieved the money and left the bank quickly and fled towards the Park drive area. Surveillance pictures were retrieved and this case is under ongoing investigation.

Officers responded to a report of burglary. Upon arrival officers learned that the residents left the apartment at 8:00 PM and when they returned at 9:15 PM they noticed that a window was opened and items were missing. Two lap top computers and a large sum of cash were missing from the residents rooms.

Officers conducted a traffic stop for an expired inspection sticker. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject’s license to operate in Massachusetts was expired. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating with an expired license, and for an expired inspection sticker.

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a suspended license. Upon investigation officers confirmed that the subject’s right to operate in Massachusetts was suspended. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating with a revoked license and failure to obey a police officer due to the subject providing a false name.
Breaking and Entering and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle:
Occurred between 3:00 PM (4/12) and 3:30 PM (4/12) – Browne Street/ St. Paul Street
Officers responded to a report of breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle. Upon investigation officers learned that a rock had been thrown through the passenger side window of the vehicle causing the window to smash. A GPS was stolen from the vehicle.

Officers learned that the inspection sticker did not match the vehicle and looked as if it had been forged or tampered with. The subject will be charged with false inspection sticker, operating with revoked insurance, unregistered motor vehicle, and not having a registration in possession.

The suspect fled the store so quickly so the employee went to the back to check the surveillance cameras to make sure nothing else was stolen. While reviewing the cameras the employee realized that the suspect had stolen a larger globe as well. This case is under investigation.

Occurred at 11:46 AM (4/8) – Beacon Street/ Dean Road
Officers conducted a traffic stop for having commercial license plates with no owner markings on the vehicle. Upon investigation officers learned that the operator did not have a Massachusetts license to operate. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for not having owner markings and for being not duly licensed.
Occurred at 6:21 PM (4/8) – Park Street
Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct. Upon arrival officers met with two men who were causing the disturbance. Both of the subject seemed intoxicated and under the influence and had been arguing over money. Neither subjects cooperated with the police and were so loud that the neighbors were exiting their apartments to see what the commotion was. Both parties were placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and the investigation is ongoing.
Occurred at 3:09 AM (4/10) – Harvard Street/ Linden Street
Officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle accelerating in a high rate of speed and switching lanes without a signal. Upon investigation officers learned that operator was under the influence of alcohol. The subject was subsequently placed under arrests for excessive noise by screeching his tires, marked lane violation, failure to use seatbelt, and operating under the influence of alcohol.

Officers conducted a traffic stop for an illegal left turn. Upon investigation officers learned that the operator had an active warrant out for his arrests, a long with having a suspended license to operate. The subject was subsequently placed under arrests for operating after suspension, an illegal left turn, and for the warrant.
Occurred between 6:43 PM (4/10) and 7:20 PM (4/10) – Boylston Street/ Leverett Street
Officers conducted a traffic stop for an illegal left hand turn. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject’s license to operate was revoked. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after revocation and for an illegal left hand turn. During the inventory of the vehicle, officers found a couple clear plastic baggies containing a substance that is consistent with marijuana. The subject was additionally cited with possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

Officers conducted a traffic stop for making an illegal left turn. Upon the traffic stop officers observed that the vehicle had pulled over too far and the front wheel was on the curb. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject did not have a proper Massachusetts license and was under the influence of alcohol. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating under the influence of alcohol, operating without a license, left turn violation, and no inspection sticker.

Officers responded to a report for breaking and entering and larceny of a Motor vehicle. The victim reported that an unknown person had smashed her front passenger side window of her vehicle. Several items were removed from the vehicle. Several of the removed items were located in the backyards of houses on the street but some items are still missing.
Occurred between 4:30 PM (4/7) and 8:30 AM (4/8) – Arlington Road
Officers responded to a report of larceny from a motor vehicle. Upon arrival officers met with the victim who reported that her purse was missing from the front seat of her vehicle. The passenger window was left down and it is believed that access was gained by the window.

Officers responded to a report of robbery. Officers learned that a male with a blond beard wearing a black ski mask and who had a knife had entered the business and asked the employee behind the counter to fill the pillow case with narcotics. The male told the employee not to scream and that if they did not cooperate there was another male outside in a car with a gun that would kill them. This investigation is on going and surveillance footage will be reviewed.
