MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers responded to Clinton Rd for a report of malicious damage to an automobile. The reporting party stated that someone smashed the rear window of their vehicle overnight while it was parked on the street. The matter is under investigation.

AUTO PARTS THEFT - Officers responded to Chestnut St for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they parked their vehicle in a parking lot over night and discovered the next morning that the catalytic converter had been stolen. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they discovered an individual had been fraudulently using a credit card. The matter is under investigation.


Thursday, April 14

ASSAULT - Officers responded to Babcock St for a report of an assault. The reporting party stated an individual struck another unprovoked. The matter has been resolved.

ANIMAL BITE - Officers took a report of a past dog bite that occurred on Brookline Av. The reporting party stated their dog was playing off-leash with another dog, which then lashed out and attacked the party's. The owner has been issued a citation.

MV THEFT - Officers were called to Commonwealth Av for a report of a motor vehicle theft. An individual failed to return the vehicle by the date agreed upon. The matter is under investigation.

The reporting party stated they left their car unlocked overnight and discovered that it had been rummaged through, although nothing appeared to be missing. The matter is under investigation.

BURGLARY - Officers responded to Brook St for a report of a breaking and entering. The reporting party stated that they heard someone enter their apartment and walk around during the night. They left without confrontation and nothing appeared to be taken. The matter is under investigation.

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to York Tr for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they left their car unlocked for a few days and discovered that, at some point, someone had rummaged through it and removed personal property. The matter is under investigation.

ASSAULT - Officers responded to Boylston St for a report of an assault. The reporting party stated an individual was smoking in a prohibited area, and when they confronted them, the suspect became agitated and struck them in the face. The suspect then fled the area. The matter is under investigation.

ANIMAL BITE - Officers took a report of a dog bite that occurred on Heath St. The victim reported coming across two loose dogs, which led them back to their house. One of the dogs then bit the victim multiple times. The owner has been issued a citation and summonsed to court for violations of town by-laws.

ASSAULT - Officers responded to Tappan St for a report of a dispute between two parties. An individual reportedly pushed another in the chest while trying to enter a room, having also pushed open the door. The individual responsible will be summonsed to court for assault and battery.

FRAUD - Officers were called to Princeton Rd for a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they received a package from the bank containing information for a new account, which had been created without their knowledge or consent. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they received a call from someone claiming to the CEO of the company they work for. The suspect requested they purchase several gift cards and send the account numbers to an unknown cell. The matter is under investigation.

He stated that in order to cancel a reservation the reporting party needed to purchase gift cards and provide the information. The matter is under investigation.

LARCENY - Officers responded to Webster St for a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they discovered property was missing from their room after they returned home for the day. The matter is under investigation.

FOUND PROPERTY - A good Samaritan turned in a wallet, which will be kept at the station for safe keeping.

LARCENY - Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Beacon St. The reporting party stated they left their bag unattended and returned to discover it was missing. The matter is under investigation.
