Armed Robbery Comm Av area


Armed Robbery, reported shortly after 5:00PM  in the vicinity of St. Paul and Thatcher Streets. Victim a recent college graduate is unharmed. Three suspects described as teenaged black males, one showed a handgun. Investigation underway. Suspects fled on foot towards Commonwealth Av.

Police Reports 10/4

Operating After Suspension: 10/4 at 8:15pm – Babcock St
Officer observed a vehicle travel through a stop sign. A registration check revealed that the operator of the vehicle had a suspended driver’s license. Operator placed under arrest and charged for Stop Sign Violation and Operating After Suspension.

Assault: 10/4 at 4:26pm – Pearl St
Officer responded to a report for a woman hitting a man with an umbrella. Male sustained no visible injury. Female will be summonsed for Assault and Battery with Dangerous Weapon to wit: Umbrella.

Larceny/Shoplifting: 10/4 at 2:10pm – Beacon St
Victim stated that he observed a suspect shoplifting liquor from the victim’s store. Officers placed the suspect under arrest and he was charged for shoplifting. A query check of the suspect later revealed that the suspect had 4 default warrants and 1 straight warrant.

B&E&L of MV: B/t 10/3 at 11:00pm & 10/4 at 7:12am – Gerry Rd
Victim stated that he noticed that the window of his vehicle was rolled down and items were taken.

Police Reports 10/1-10/3

We are seeing a rash of B&E of MV and the suspects are targeting UNLOCKED vehicles!

B&E of MV: Occurred between  11:00 pm (10/1) and 7:00 am (10/2)- Coolidge St
Victim reported to police that two of their family cars were rummaged through overnight.   Victim reported finding personal items that were previously in the vehicles had been found on neighboring properties.

B&E of MV: Occurred between 7:00 pm (10/1) and 7:00 am (10/2)- Lancaster Terr
Victim reported to police that their car was rummaged through and loose change stolen overnight

Larceny of a Bike: Occurred between 2:30 pm and 2:45 pm (10/1)- Chestnut St
Victim reports to police that their bicycle was taken from the rear of the building.

Burglary: Occurred at 2:04 pm (10/2)- Aspinwall Ave
Police responded to Aspinwall Ave for a report of a Breaking & Entering in process.  Victim reported that they heard noise from the front door.  When he went to go open the door he observed two suspects running down the stairs and took off towards Netherlands Rd.    A second resident of the building stated to police that they heard a knock at the door and when they went to answer, there was no one there.   Suspects were described as  1: Brown jacket with a black hoodie underneath 2: black hoodie over head

LarcenyOccurred between 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm (10/2)- Thorndike St
Victim reported to police that a package had been removed from their porch.  Victim stated that they noticed a package in the bushes near their residence with wrapping scattered along the sidewalk.  After investigating the victim noticed that the package was intended for her residence. 

LarcenyOccurred between 6:45 pm (10/1) and 6:30pm (11:35) - Perry St
Police responded to Perry St to take a report of a past larceny.  The victim reported to police that their mailbox (typically fixed to the building) was missing.  At 11:35 pm the same evening the officers returned to Perry St to speak to the same victim regarding vandalism to the property.  The victim stated that parking reflector ribbons that were fixed to the balcony were ripped down. 

B&E of MV: Occurred between 11:00 pm 910/2) and 6:00 am (10/3)- Columbia St
Victim reported to police that his car was rummaged through overnight. 

 Arrest10:04am 10/3- Washington St
Subject with an outstanding warrant came into the station and was placed under arrest. 

 LarcenyOccurred at 10:46am 10/3- Harvard St
Police responded to a report of larceny of gas.  The owner of the gas station stated that a patron pumped gas into their car and drove off the property without paying.

Arrest: Occurred at 2:14 pm 10/03 - Newton St/ Clyde St
Officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle that failed to stop for a stop sign.  The operator did not have a license to operate and was placed under arrest for not being duly licensed.

Arrest: Occurred at 5:10 pm 10/3 - Boylston St
Officers conducted a traffic stop on Boylston St for an illegal U-Turn.  The operator was placed under arrest for operating with a suspended license.

Arrest: Occurred at 6:37 pm- Beacon St
Officers conducted a traffic stop on Beacon St that resulted in the arrest of the operator.  Officers found that the vehicle had a license plate attached that was registered to a different vehicle.  The operator was arrested for operating after suspension, attaching wrong plates, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and failing to submit for inspection.

Arrest:   Occurred at 11:45 pm 10/3 - Boylston St
Officers conducted a traffic stop for failing to stop for a red light.  During the stop it was found that the vehicle had been reported stolen.  The operator was placed under arrest for receiving a stolen motor vehicle.

Police Reports 10/1

Fraud: 10/1 at 4:33pm – Kent St
Victim stated that there were missing funds in his bank account. Victim was told that his information has been changed and that his checks are now being deposited to Pittsburgh PA. Account has since been flagged as fraud.

B&E&L of MV: 9/27 at 6:00pm & 10/1 at 7:00am – Thorndike St
Officer responded to a report for a past breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. Victim stated that he discovered that the glove box as well the center console was open and papers were left scattered. Victim stated that he left his parked vehicle unlocked.

Operating After Revocation: 10/2 at 12:11am – Parkway Rd / Brookline Ave
A random query check revealed that the operator of a vehicle had a revoked registration status. Operator was placed under arrest and charged for Operating after revocation (registration), Operating after suspension (license), and Operating a MV with no license in possession.

B&E of MV: 10/2 b/t 2:40am & 2:49am – Lancaster Tr
Officer observed a motor vehicle with an open driver's door and several small items discarded on the ground in the driveway of Lancaster Terrace. Due to the recent rash of motor vehicle breaks in the area, units were requested to locate the suspect/s. Attempt in finding the suspects were unsuccessful but several pieces of evidence were collected.

Burglary: 10/1 at 6:10pm – Westbourne Tr
Officers responded to a report for a Breaking and Entering in progress. Victim stated that he observed two male suspects exiting the front vestibule of his home. Suspects fled down Westborune Terr. towards Beacon St. An inspection revealed that there was nothing neither missing nor disturbed in the vestibule. Suspects are described as two young Hispanic males in their early twenties, approximately 5"6 to 5"8, both had very short dark colored hair. Suspect #1 was wearing dark colored jeans with a tan sweater; Subject #2 was wearing dark colored jeans with a light colored hoodie and polo type shirt underneath.

Operating After Suspension: 10/1 at 12:05am – Harvard St
Officer observed a vehicle traveling with an expired inspection sticker. A vehicle registration check revealed that that the license was suspended. Operator was placed under arrest and cited for operating after suspended license and for an expired inspection sticker.

MV Theft: 10/1 b/t 9:30am & 6:00pm – Boylston St
Victim stated that his motor vehicle had been stolen. Victim stated that he left his vehicle parked with the keys left inside.

Police Report 9/28-9/30

Larceny: 9/28 at 8:58am – Pleasant St
Victim stated that cash was found missing from her apartment.

Violation of Town By-Laws: 9/30 at 12:19am - Beacon Street
Officer was dispatched for a report of a loud party. Upon arrival, officers heard music, tv, and talking coming from within an apartment. Resident was advised of the noise and was issued a citation for violation of the Town Nuisance Control By-Law.

Malicious Damage/Auto: 9/28 at 12:00pm – St Paul St
Victim stated that someone placed a piece of wood with exposed nails in her open garaged parking space, which punctured her front tire. Officer suspects that the wood was placed there intentionally.

Operating After Suspension: 9/30 at 8:33am - Harvard St
Officer observed a vehicle traveling with an expired registration. A query check revealed that the vehicle’s registration was expired and the operator had a suspended license status. Operator was placed under arrest and charged with Operating after Suspension (license) and Unregistered Motor Vehicle.

Warrant: Default: 10/1 at 2:30am - Harvard St
Officers observed a male subject in a suspicious manner, wandering around aimlessly with no apparent destination. A query check revealed that a subject had an active default warrant. Subject was placed under arrest.

Warrant: 9/30 at 10:38pm - Longwood Ave
Officer observed a vehicle traveling without its headlights on. A vehicle registration check revealed that the operator of the vehicle had an active straight warrant. Operator was placed under arrest and charged for Headlights, Failure to display at night.

Burglary: 9/30 b/t 12:57am & 1:02am – Carlton St
Officer responded to a report for a breaking and entering in progress. Victim stated that she noticed that the window to her bedroom was found open and personal belongings were found missing. Canine Unit tracked the suspects scent up to the point of the Longwood MBTA Train Stop. Suspect was unable to be located.

B&E&L of MV: 9/27 at 8:30pm & 9/28 at 7:20am - Jordan Rd
Victim stated that she left her vehicle unlocked overnight, and returned the next morning to discover that her vehicle had been broken into. Victim stated that items were found missing.

Traffic Offenses: 9/30 at 7:28pm - Washington St at Beacon St
Officer observed a vehicle make an illegal right turn against a posted “No Turn on Red” sign. A vehicle registration check revealed that the operator had a suspended license status. Operator was placed under arrest and charged for the red light violation and operating after suspended license.

Operating After Suspension: 9/29 at 6:45pm - Beacon St/ Washington St
Officer observed a vehicle failing to stop for a red traffic signal. A query check revealed that the operator had a revoked license status. Operator was placed under arrest and charged for to Stop for a Red Traffic Signal, and Operating with a Revoked Operator's License.

OUIL: 9/28 at 10:00pm – Beacon St
Officer responded to a report of vehicle that had struck and taken off the door of another parked vehicle. Victim stated that a vehicle made contact with him as he was opening his car door. Officer detected odor of alcohol and observed that the operator of the vehicle had bloodshot and glassy. Operator was placed under arrest and charged for OUI-L and Marked Lanes Violation.

Larceny: Since June 2012 9/28 – Lynn Rd
Victim stated that since June, she noticed that several items had been taken from her home. Victim stated that her home had been on the market and the realty company had been arranging several open house events.
