Arrests:

Officers were conducting an investigation related to drug distribution. This investigation lead to the arrest of a subject who had completed a drug transaction. Officers learned that the subject had additional marijuana and contraband within the apartment that the transaction was made. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for possession of Class D with intent to distribute, school zone violation of controlled substance act, and possession of class E drug.

Arrests:

Occurred between 12:13 AM (5/26) and 12:57 AM (5/26) – Washington Street/ Boylston Street

After receiving a report of possible bicycle larceny, officer conducted a traffic stop of the suspected vehicle. Upon investigation officers learned that the subjects were not conducting bicycle theft, but the driver of the vehicle did not have a proper Massachusetts license to operate. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating without a license.

Occurred at 7:37 AM (5/26) – Harvard Street

Officers conducted surveillance at a local pharmacy due to multiple past shoplifting incidents. While conducting surveillance the employee identified two of the subjects that were involved in the past incidents. The subjects attempted to steal more items when officers approached the subjects. The subjects were subsequently placed under arrest for shoplifting and will both be charged with three counts of shoplifting and one count of attempt to commit a crime.

Breaking and Entering and Larceny of Motor Vehicles:

Occurred between 4:00 PM (5/25) and 8:00 AM (5/26) – Dean Road

Officers responded to a report of breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle. Upon investigation officers learned that the rear passenger window was smashed in and a purse with cash and other valuables inside were taken from the vehicle.

Occurred between 3:00 PM (5/24) and 12:00 PM (5/25) – Heath Street

Officers responded to a report of breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle. Upon investigation officers learned that the victims purse was stolen from the front seat of the unlocked vehicle.

Occurred between 6:00 PM (5/25) and 8:00 AM (5/26) – Cleveland Road

Officers responded to a report of breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle. Upon investigation officers learned that a GPS was stolen from the unlocked vehicle.

Arrests:

Occurred at 8:40 AM (5/24) – Princeton Road/ Lagrange Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for failure to display marking on a commercial vehicle. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject’s license to operate in Massachusetts was suspended. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension.

Occurred at 11:30 AM (5/24) – Beacon Street

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting. Upon arrival officers learned that a male subject had stolen items from a local grocery store and fled onto an MTBA train. Officers learned that the subject then ran off of the train and knocked a female subject over and fled on foot. Officers and a store employee engaged in a short foot pursuit resulting in the arrest of the subject. Officers learned that the subject had two small baggies of what is known to be marijuana. The subject was subsequently placed under arrests and charged with shoplifting, assault and battery, malicious damage to property, and possession of marijuana less than one ounce.

Occurred between 11:00 PM (5/24) and 6:29 AM (5/25) – Bonad Road

Officers responded to a report of breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle. Upon investigation officers learned that the victim’s passenger side window was smashed and a back pack was stolen from the vehicle.

Arrests:

Occurred at 2:16 PM (5/23) – Beacon Street

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting. Upon arrival officers learned that the subject that had stolen two rugs from the local store fled. Officers immediately started to search the surrounding area and observed a male carrying two rugs that matched the description. After a very short pursuit officers were able to place the subject under arrest for shoplifting.

Breaking and Entering and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle:

Occurred between 10:00 AM (5/23) and 10:16 AM (5/23) – St. Mary’s Street/ Commonwealth Avenue

Officers responded to a report of a breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival officers learned that the victim left his truck parked while in the store and when he returned his back pack full of belongings were stolen from his vehicle.

Arrests:

Occurred between 2:30 AM (5/21) and 2:42 AM (5/21) – Harvard Street/ Webster Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for an illegal U- turn. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject’s license to operate in Massachusetts was revoked. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after revocation.

Occurred at 11:18 AM (5/21) – Beverly Road

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a red light violation. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject’s license to operate in Massachusetts was suspended. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension.

Occurred between 11:21 PM (5/21) and 11:45 PM (5/21) – Cottage Street/ Warren Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for suspicious activity. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject did not have a proper Massachusetts license to operate. The subject also had outstanding warrants. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating with a non duly license and warrants.

Occurred at 11:45 PM (5/21) – Washington Street/ Pond Avenue

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a failed inspection sticker. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject did not have a proper Massachusetts license to operate. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating with a non duly license.

Occurred at 2:24 AM (5/22) – Beacon Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for speeding. When officers approached the vehicle they immediately smelled a strong odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle and the subject. Officer conducted field sobriety tests and learned that the subject was under the influence of alcohol. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating under the influence of alcohol.

Occurred at 4:59 AM (5/23) – Beacon Street

Officers conducted a stop for suspicious behavior. Upon investigation with the stopped subject officers learned that the subject had several weapons on his person, which are typically used to break into cars and houses. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for carrying dangerous weapons, possession of burglarious tools and trespassing. The bicycle the subject was riding was queried and came up stolen. The subject was additionally charged with receiving stolen property and the bicycle was returned to its owner.

Occurred at 6:24 AM (5/23) – Washington Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a revoked registration status. Upon investigation officers learned that the subjects license was suspended. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension.

Burglary:

Occurred between 2:00 PM (5/21) and 9:28 PM (5/21) – St. Paul Street

Officers responded to a report of burglary. Upon investigation officers learned that a subject had entered the apartment through an unlocked window and exited through and unlocked door. There were several valuable items missing from the apartment.
