SCOOTER THEFT - Officers responded to a report of a motorized scooter theft on Sewall Av. The reporting party stated they had secured it to a tree but returned to find it missing. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers received a report of a fraud on Cottage St. The reporting party shared that they received an alert from their bank stating their card had been used in a fraudulent purchase. The matter is under investigation.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers took a report of a package theft that occurred on St Paul St. The reporting party stated they received an email confirmation of the delivery, but the package was gone by the time they returned. The matter is under investigation.


Tuesday, October 5

FRAUD - Officers took a report of a fraud by check. The reporting party stated they checked their bank statement and noticed a check had been cashed for a different amount. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers were called to Harrison St for a report of a scam. The reporting party stated they received a letter offering a reduced price for student loans in exchange for down payment and personal information. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers were called to Harvard St for a report of a scam. The reporting party shared that they received an email claiming their computer and phone lines had been compromised and that, in order to fix the problem, they would need to pay an amount in various gift cards. The matter is under investigation.


Wednesday, October 6

SHOPLIFTING - Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting that occurred on Commonwealth Av. The reporting party witnessed an individual attempt to leave without paying. The individual had been apprehended.

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to Marion St regarding a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they noticed property missing after leaving their car overnight. The matter is under investigation.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to a call on St Paul St for a report of a package theft. The reporting party stated they received confirmation of the delivery, but it was gone when they arrived. The matter is under investigation.


Thursday, October 7

BIKE THEFT - Officers took a report of a bike theft on Egmont St. The matter is under investigation.

GRAFFITI - Officers were called to Babcock St for a report of graffiti on the property. The matter is has been referred to the Community Service Department.


Friday, October 8

LARCENY - Officers responded to a call on Eliot Av for a report of a wallet theft. The matter is under investigation.


Saturday, October 9

FRAUD - Officers took a report of a fraud. The victim stated that they received an email that said to use a number provided to contact Apple about a potential issue with their account. The individual claimed to be from Apple and asked for banking details. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers were called to Lancaster Tr for a report of a fraud. The victim shared that they received notice from the Unemployment office about a claim, and they were advised to contact the Social Security Fraud Hotline. The matter is under investigation.

BIKE THEFT - Officers responded to a call on Alton Pl for a past bike theft. The reporting party stated that the bike had been secured via the front tire, but the tire had been removed and the bike stolen. The matter is under investigation.


Sunday, October 10

BURGLARY - Officers were called to Webster St for a report of a burglary. The individual was found and will be summonsed to court.

BIKE THEFT - Officers responded to a call on Davis Av for a report of a past bike theft. The reporting party stated that the bike had been secured via the front tire, but the tire had been removed and the bike stolen. The matter is under investigation.
