Monday, August 8

ASSAULT - Officers responded to the area of Beacon St and Kilsyth Rd for a report of a individual harassing multiple people. The male individual verbally assaulted and spit on multiple people in the area. The perpetrator was summonsed to court.

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that fireworks had been set off in Skyline Park, causing damage to the field.  It is believed to have happened sometime over the weekend.

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the victim stated they discovered someone had used their taxpayer identification number.

BURGLARY - Officers were called to Abbottsford Rd for a report of suspicious activity. The reporting party stated they discovered damage done to the door of their residence but no entry was made.

BURGLARY - Officers responded to Babcock St for a report of a suspicious person. The reporting party witnessed an unidentified male individual try to gain access to the inner door of a residential building. No entry was made.


Tuesday, August 9

AUTO PARTS THEFT - Officers were called to High St for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they left their vehicle in a parking lot overnight and discovered the next morning that the catalytic converter had been stolen.

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers were alerted to graffiti that was found on Muddy River Path.

AUTO PARTS THEFT - Officers responded to Boylston St for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they left their vehicle in a parking lot overnight and discovered the next morning that the catalytic converter had been stolen.

THEFT - Officers took a report of theft. The reporting party stated an individual fraudulently wrote and cashed a check.


Wednesday, August 10

GRAFFITI - Officers were alerted to new graffiti that was found on Newton St.

LARCENY - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that mail that was scheduled to be delivered never arrived at the intended address.

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they received email confirmation of a purchase that they had not authorized and was made fraudulently.

LARCENY - Officers responded to Ashville Rd for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they stored their personal items in an unsecured room and returned a few hours later to discover their wallet had been stolen. 

BIKE THEFT - Officers were called to Egmont St for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they secured their bike to the front of their residence and returned a few days later to discover it had been stolen.


Thursday, August 11

SCOOTER THEFT - Officers responded to High St for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they secured their motorized scooter behind their residence and returned the next day to discover it was missing.

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they were selling an item through an online platform and were in contact with an individual, who overpaid then requested additional payments in order to cover fraudulent fees. 


Friday, August 12

MV THEFT - Officers were called to Williams St for a report of a motor vehicle theft. The reporting party stated they left their vehicle, unlocked and with the keys inside, in the driveway overnight and discovered in the morning that it had been stolen.

LARCENY - Officers responded to Kendall St for a report, where the reporting party shared money had been stolen overnight. 

AUTO PARTS THEFT - Officers were called to Green St for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they left their vehicle in a parking lot overnight and discovered the next morning that the catalytic converter had been stolen.

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Babcock St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they left their vehicle unlocked in a parking lot overnight and returned the next morning to discover that it had been rummaged through.


Saturday, August 13

FOUND PROPERTY - A child's backpack was found on Washington St and was taken to the station for safekeeping. 

FOUND PROPERTY - A phone was found in the area of Beacon St and Pleasant St and was taken to the station for safekeeping. 


Sunday, August 14

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party stated they used a link to contact a help desk and that the fraudulent representative requested their password and account information in order to rectify the problem. They later discovered fraudulent charges made to their account.

AUTO PARTS THEFT - Officers were called to Juniper St for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they left their vehicle in a parking lot overnight and discovered the next morning that the catalytic converter had been stolen.

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers were alerted to damage done to the exterior of a building on Harvard St.
