May 11th- 12th

Arrests:

Occurred at 8:22 PM (5/11) – Harvard Street

Officers responded to a report of malicious damage of a vehicle. Upon arrival officers learned that a male subject that appeared to be intoxicated had thrown mulch, dirt and rocks on the victim’s car. The male was acting disorderly and yelling profanities as well. The subject was subsequently placed under arrests for malicious damage and disorderly conduct.

Occurred at 1:57 AM (5/12) – Boylston Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a broken head light. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject’s license to operate in Massachusetts was suspended. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension.

Robbery:

Occurred at 1:57 PM (5/11) – Harvard Street

Officers responded to a report of a bank robbery. The suspect is a male described as 5’10, 180 lbs, clean shaven, short hair, wearing a black north face, black hat, and blue jeans, had entered the bank and was acting suspicious. When an employee approached the male to assist him the subject handed the employee a letter ordering to hand over money. The subject retrieved the money and fled the bank.

Arrests:

Occurred at 1:45 PM (5/10) – Colchester Street

Officers were conducting surveillance in the area due to recent breaking and entering and larceny’s when they observed a male subject acting suspicious near vehicles and holding a bag that appeared to be light in weight or empty. Due to several other suspicious facts officer stopped the subject. Officers observed in plain site clear plastic bags containing a substance known to be marijuana. The subject was subsequently placed under arrests for possession of marijuana.

Occurred at 3:01 PM (5/10) – Harvard Street/ Lawton Street

Officers responded to a report of a bank robbery. Upon arrival of the area officers observed Boston University Police conducting a field interview with a subject that matched the description of the subject involved in the bank robbery. Officers learned that the subject had a warrant out of New Hampshire. During the stop the subject fled and a foot pursuit ensued between the subject and officers. The subject was soon after placed under arrests and charged with resisting arrests, malicious damage, assault and battery on a police officer, and two counts of fugitive from justice.

Arrests:

Occurred at 10:49 PM (5/5) – Harvard Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a marked lanes violation. Upon investigation officers learned that the drivers license was suspended. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension. During the inventory of the vehicle officers discovered a bag containing roughly 45 pills known to be narcotics. The subject was additionally charged with possession of class B with intent to distribute and a school zone violation.

Occurred between 6:59 PM (5/6) and 7:32 PM (5/6) – Harvard Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop. Upon investigation officers confirmed that the drivers license was suspended. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension.

Occurred at 10:41 PM (5/6) – High Street/ Walnut Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a prohibited left turn. Upon investigation officers learned that the operators license was suspended. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension. In result of a search incident to arrest, officers discovered a small amount of substance consistent with marijuana in the subjects backpack. The subject was additionally cited with possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

Occurred at 2:47 PM (5/8) – Harvard Street

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting. Upon investigation officers learned that a male subject had placed items into a duffle bag at a local pharmacy and fled out the back door. A few moments later, another officer stopped a male subject that matched the description. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for shoplifting.

Breaking and Entering and Larceny:

Occurred between 4:30 PM (5/5) and 12:15 AM (5/6) – Egmont Street

Officers responded to a report of breaking and entering and larceny. Upon arrival officers learned that a laptop computer was taken out of the apartment. All roommates reported that all of the doors were locked when they left the apartment. There were signs of forced entry through the window. There were other break-ins within the surrounding areas.

Occurred between 12:15 AM (5/6) and 2:15 AM (5/6) – Egmont Street

Officers were reporting to a past break-in when the apartment next door reported a break in as well. Upon investigation officers learned that the apartment had also been broken into by forced entry through the window. Items missing from the apartment included multiple laptops, cash and other items.

Occurred between 10:00 PM (5/5) and 6:45 AM (5/6) – Beacon Street

Officer responded to a report of a break-in. Upon investigation officers learned that the homeowner of the house was out of the country and a neighbor/ friend was retrieving the mail for them until they returned. When the neighbor went to put the mail in the house they found the door broken and the bolt lock snapped off. The house was ransacked and multiple items were missing from the household.

Occurred between 2:15 PM (5/6) and 4:00 PM (5/6) – St Paul Street

Officers responded to two reports of Breaking and Entering and Larceny. Upon arrival officers learned that two apartments within the building had been broken into. Both break-ins appeared to be through the front door. Both apartments were missing computers, and other various items.

Breaking and Entering and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle:

Occurred between 10:00 PM (5/5) and 7:10 AM (5/6) – Bonad Road

Officers responded to a report of breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. Upon investigation officers learned that the vehicles passenger window was smashed and cash/ coins were missing from the vehicle.

Occurred between 5:30 AM (5/6) and 1:28 PM (5/6) – Brookline Avenue/ Parkway Road

Officers responded to a report of breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. Upon investigation officers learned that the front side passenger window was smashed and a GPS was missing from the vehicle.

Occurred at 8:58 PM (5/8) – Beacon Street

Officers responded to a report of breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. Upon investigation officers learned that the vehicles window had been smashed and a handbag was missing from the vehicle.
