Larceny: 11/19 at 9:00pm – Naples Rd
Victim stated that his vehicle was rummaged through and items were found stolen.
B&E&L of MV: 11/19 at 11:00pm – Longwood Ave
Victim stated that her unlocked vehicle had been broken into and items were taken from within.
Fire Building: 11/19 at 5:18pm – Beacon St
Brookline Police and Fire responded to a report of an odor of smoke in the building. Investigation revealed that there was a smoldering cigarette that was discarded in the common area stairwell and the wall next to it.
Operating After Suspension: 11/19 at 7:03pm – Washington St/Salisbury Rd
Officer pulled over a vehicle that was traveling with its muffler hanging off. A vehicle’s registration check revealed that the operator had a suspended license status. Operator was placed under arrest and charged for Defective Equipment, Operating after Suspended License, Operating after Revoked Registration, Operating an Uninsured MV, and Operating an Unregistered MV.
Fraud: 10/23 at 12:15pm – Beacon St
Victim stated that an unauthorized withdrawal was made to his account.
Not Duly Licensed: 11/19 at 12:50pm – Harvard St
Officer observed a vehicle failing to stop for pedestrians in the crosswalk. A vehicle’s registration check revealed that the operator had a suspended license status. Operator will be charged for operating Not Duly Licensed, Expired Registration and Failure to Stop for Pedestrian's in a crosswalk.
Revoked Registration: 11/19 at 5:13pm – Allandale Rd/Risley Rd
Officer observed a vehicle speeding on Risley Rd and Allandale Road. A query check revealed that the operator had a revoked registration. Operator will be charged for Revoked Insurance, Revoked Registration and speeding.

Police Reports 11/16-11/18
Malicious Damage/Auto: 11/18 at 3:20pm – Hackensack Rd
Victim observed scratches on the hood of her vehicle.
Possession of Marijuana: 11/19 at 7:02am – Harvard St/Stedman St
Officer observed a vehicle traveling with an expired vehicle registration. A query check revealed that the operator had a suspended license statute and was placed under arrest for Operating After Suspension (License) and Unregistered Motor Vehicle. Operator will also be charged for Possession of One Ounce or Less of Marijuana (Civil Violation) during an inventory check.
Disorderly Person: 11/17 at 12:15am – Freeman St
Victim stated that a male subject entered her apartment. Victim claimed that the subject appeared confused and heavily intoxicated. In the same building complex, officer stopped a heavily intoxicated male subject who was banging on apartment doors. Subject refused to cooperate and acted in a threatening manner. Subject was placed into handcuffs and charged for Disorderly Person and Resisting Arrest.
Assault: 11/16 at 9:02pm – Egmont St
Officers responded to a report of glass breaking and a disturbance between multiple people. Caller stated that two male subjects appeared to be in a fight when one of the subjects ran over and kicked the front door which then caused the glass pane of the door to shatter. The subject will be charged with Malicious Destruction of Property and shattering the glass door and Assault and Battery.
Larceny: 11/16 at 8:00pm – Francis St
Officer responded to a report of an abandoned purse on Totexth St. The owner of the purse stated that she thought she had misplaced her purse while she was grocery shopping, when she received a call from the bank notifying her about fraudulent charges that were made to her account. Account has since been cancelled.
Possession Unlawful Weapon: 11/18 at 5:00pm – Harvard St/Coolidge St
A random query of a vehicle's registration revealed that the operator had a suspended license status. Operator was placed under arrest for Operating After Suspension and Carrying Dangerous Weapon (Brass Knuckles).
Assault: 11/18 at 2:18am – Kent St/Newell Rd
Cab driver stated that two subjects assaulted him after paying for their fare.

Victim stated that someone entered his garage and took his bicycle. Victim stated that he left his garage door closed but not locked.

Victim stated that she returned to find that her unlocked room had been entered and her cell phone was discovered missing.
