10/30/2015-11/03/2015

On October 30th officers were conducting traffic enforcement on Boylston Street when officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed pass them. Officers determined the vehicle was traveling over the designated speed limit, officers pulled the vehicle over. After obtaining the operator’s license and registration the officers ran a warrants and RMV check and it was revealed that the driver had an outstanding warrant in another town. The driver was placed under arrest without incident.

On October 30th officers responded to a past larceny report of Linden Place. Officers spoke to the victim who stated that she had a packaged delivered to her address and when she came home she discovered the package had been tampered with, it was ripped open and the contents removed. This matter is still under investigation.

On October 30th officers were conducting traffic enforcement on Warren Street when they noticed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The officers determined it was over the speed limit and pulled over the vehicle. The driver was able to provide the officers with his registration but not his license. After running the given information through the police cruiser’s computer it was determined the driver had a suspended license. The driver was placed under arrest without incident.

On October 31st officers served a Brookline warrant for an individual who lived in Brockton. Upon arrival, with assistance from the Brockton Police Department, the individual was apprehended
without incident and placed under arrest.

On October 31st officers responded to a Breaking and Entering of a motor vehicle on Griggs Road. Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim who stated returning to her car after leaving it overnight to find the inside of the vehicle had been rummaged through and personal items were missing. This matter is still under investigation.

On October 31st officers were dispatched to Foster Street for a report of a larceny from a building. Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim who reported expecting a package in the mail of a person item mailed to her by a friend but when she opened her mailbox she noticed the item was missing.
This matter is still under investigation.

On November 1rst officers were dispatched to the Brookline Golf Course for multiple reports of several motor vehicles being broken into. The suspect smashed windows in multiple vehicles and took various items. This matter is still under investigation.

On November 2nd, an officer monitoring traffic at the intersection of Harvard St. and Webster St. observed a vehicle go through a stop sign and fail to yield to pedestrians. The officers activated his overhead emergency lights, and safely initiated a traffic stop. The officer advised the operator as to the reason for the stop and asked for his license and registration.  The officer checked the status of both, which revealed the operator’s license was suspended. The subject was placed under arrest and transported to the Brookline Police Station.

On November 3rd, an officer monitoring traffic on Boylston St. observed a vehicle fail to stop at a red traffic light.  The officer activated his overhead emergency lights, and safely initiated a traffic stop. The officer advised the operator as to the reason for the stop and asked for his license and registration.  The officer checked the status of both, which revealed the operator’s license was suspended. The subject was placed under arrest and transported to the Brookline Police Station
