Police Reports 5/30-5/31

Arrest: Occurred on 5/30 at 9:19 PM- Boylston St.

Officers responded to Boylston St. for the report of an intoxicated person. A query of the individual’s information revealed that he had four warrants out of Framingham District Court. The subject was placed under arrest for the warrants.

Arrest: Occurred on 5/30 at 7:25 PM- Independence Dr./ Russett Rd.

A vehicle made an abrupt lane change without using a directional signal. The officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Russett Rd and Independence Dr. In plain view, officers observed two knives in the vehicle’s glove compartment. A search of the vehicle revealed hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia. The driver was placed under arrest for Possession of Heroin and Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws. The passenger was arrested for Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws.

Arrest: Occurred on 5/30 at 2:00 PM- Kent St.

An off duty officer observed a male subject on Kent St. looking into the front foyers of several buildings along the street. The officer observed the subject behind bushes that are between entrances to apartment buildings, carrying a large package that he did not have before. The subject was stopped by officers in the rear of the building. The package was addressed to a Kent St. resident. The subject was placed under arrest for Larceny from a Building.

Arrest: Occurred on 5/30 at 8:35 AM- Fisher Ave./ Clinton Rd.

A vehicle took and illegal left turn from Chestnut Hill Ave. onto Clinton Rd. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Clinton Road at Fisher Avenue. A query of the driver’s information revealed that he did not have a valid license. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating without a License.

Arrest: Occurred on 5/30 at 8:06 AM- Harvard St./ Webster Pl.

Officers observed a subject who recently had a warrant issued for his arrest for violation of a Harassment order. The subject was placed under arrest for the warrant in the area of Harvard St. and Webster Pl.

Police Reports 5/29-5/30

Arrest: Occurred on 5/30 at 1:10 AM- Washington St./ Boylston St.

A query of a vehicle’s information revealed that the registered owner had a suspended license. The officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Washington St. and Boylston St. The driver was confirmed to be the registered owner, and he was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Burglary Attempt: Occurred between 5/25 and 5/29- Mason Tr.

A Mason Terrace resident reported an attempted breaking and entering. The reporting party stated that he left the residence on 5/25 and returned on 5/29. When he returned, he discovered that two windows had been forced open and holes had been cut in the screens. There was no entry gained to the home.

Arrest: Occurred on 5/29 at 10:09 AM- Harvard St.

A vehicle took and illegal U-turn on Harvard St. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Harvard St. A query of the driver’s information revealed that his license was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Police Reports 5/25-5/29

Arrest: Occurred on 5/25 at 11:30 AM- Harvard St.

A vehicle made an illegal left turn from Beacon St. onto Harvard St. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Harvard St. A query of the driver’s information revealed that her license was revoked and that she had an active warrant out for her arrest. The driver was placed under arrest for the warrant and Operating after Revocation.

Arrest: Occurred on 5/25 at 9:40 PM- Hammond Pond Pkwy.

A vehicle traveled onto Hammond Pond Parkway through a solid red light. The officer conducted a traffic stop. A query of the driver’s information revealed that he did not have a valid license. The driver was placed under arrest for Not Duly Licensed.

Arrest: Occurred on 5/27 at 7:15 PM- Winthrop Rd.

Officers responded to Winthrop Rd. for a report of a disturbance with a man swinging a knife. The victim stated that a male subject had become upset with him and began to swing a knife and an axe at him in a threatening manner. Based on the information, the subject was placed under arrest for Assault With A Dangerous Weapon.

MV Theft: Occurred on 5/21-Winslow Rd.

An individual reported the theft of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that she last saw her car on May 21st at 8:30 PM. The vehicle had been parked on Winslow Rd. A query revealed that the vehicle had been recovered by the Lynn Police.

Larceny: Occurred between 5/24 and 5/25- Winthrop Rd.

A individual reported the larceny of her bicycle. The victim stated that the bicycle was stolen sometime between 10:00 PM on 5/24 and 9:00 PM on 5/25. The bicycle was left unlocked in the common area of a Winthrop Rd. residence.
