January 8th Police Reports

Larceny

  • Occurred between 9:24AM(01/02) and 9:24AM(01/05) – 23 Parkman St

Victims reports that mail was taken from inside the victim’s home. Victims were told to change their locks and to do credit checks for any suspicious activity. This case is under investigation.

  • Reported at 4:54PM(01/08) – 33 Lancaster Terr.

Victim reports that between 12/23 and 12/26 a package was taken out of the lobby of the building. Victim checked with the delivery service and the package was delivered on 12/23. The package contained a pair of prescription glasses.

Burglary

  • Occurred between 10:00AM(12/19) and 10:00AM(01/08)- 21 Euston St

Victim reports that upon arrival to his property, he noticed that one of his apartments had been broken into. Several jewelry boxes had been dumped out. Police are now investigating this case.

Assault

  • Reported at 1:00PM(01/08) – Thayer Pl

Officers responded to an assault offender was taken into custody.

January 7th Police Report

Assault

  • Reported at 2:00PM (1/7)- 155 Harvard St

Victim reports that when the two suspects called the cashier a derogatory name, the victim then spoke up and said, “you shouldn’t call her a …”. One of the suspect replied “you should mind your own business”, while the other suspect reached over and scratched the victim’s chest. The two suspects fled the store without their items. Police arrived on the scene shortly after and are working with the store for more information on these suspects.

Breaking and Entering of MV

  • Occurred between 2:15PM and 4:30PM (1/7)- 99 Pond Ave

Victim reports that when returning to her car, her front passenger window was smashed, her GPS and purse were taken. Her GPS and purse were both visible, the GPS was on the front window, and her purse was in the back seat. The victim has been advised to get in contact with her credit card companies and her bank.

Jan 5th- 6th Police Reports

Larceny

  • Occurred between 10:00AM and 1:00PM (12/17)- Centre St

Victim reported that between 10:00AM and 1:00PM their porcelain Christmas tree was taken out of her apartment. Estimated value is $200.

  • Reported at 3:30 (01/05) – Beacon St

Victim reported that in a short period of absence their purse was taken from a doctor’s office. They later found the purse but the wallet was missing.

  • Reported at 5:20 (01/05)- Harvard St

Victim reported that a GPS was taken from a store. This item was valued at $160.00.

  • Occurred between 12:00PM (12/14) and 2:00PM (12/22)- Lancaster Terr.

Victim reports that between 12/14 and 12/22 his watch was taken from his apartment. This item is valued at approximately $2,750.

Assault

  • Reported at 8:00PM (01/05)-High St

Victims reported on their way home they were confronted by two people who assaulted one of the victims multiple times with a light bulb. Victim did not sustain any critical injuries. Suspects then fled the scene.

  • Occurred between 9:00PM and 10:10PM- Pond Ave

Victim reported that on their way home she passed three people one of which pointed to their midriff area and made the shape of a gun with his hand. Victim believed they possessed a firearm. Police responded to the victims call but the suspects were not located.

Arrest

  • Reported at 12:35AM (01/06) – Washington St

Officers did a routine traffic stop and when they looked up the driver’s status; they found that there was a warrant for his arrest. They then took him into custody.

  • Reported at 2:30AM - Washington St.

Officers did a routine traffic stop when they looked up the offender’s records; they found that there was a warrant for his arrest. They then took him into custody.

  • Reported at 7:00AM (01/06) – Boylston St

Officers answered to a call that said the offender in this case was climbing the fire escape and peeping into windows. With further investigation officers arrested the offender on multiple counts including trespassing and disorderly conduct.

  • Reported at 1:00AM (01/07)- Beacon St

During a routine traffic stop, officers made two arrests. One arrest was for driving without a license, the other was for possession of a class D substance.

December 31st - January 4th Police Reports

Larceny

  • Reported at 9:00AM (01/04)- Beacon St

Victim reports between 12/18/08 and 01/04/09 his television, laptop and external hard drive were stolen from his apartment. The values of these items are approximately $3000 dollars.

  • Occurred between 1:00PM and 2:30PM (01/04)- Pond Ave

Victim Reports that between 1:00PM and 2:30PM $200 dollars in cash were stolen from her wallet, left in her purse, just outside her home.

  • Reported at 3:00PM (01/30)-Washington St

Victim reports on 12/20/08 between 2:30PM and 3:00PM her iPhone was taken from her home. The value of this item is approximately $300.

  • Reported on (12/30)- Browne St

Victims state that a package was taken from outside their apartment sometime between 12:00PM (12/26) and 7:00PM (12/28). The package contained tickets for New York valued at $600.

Arrest

  • Occurred at 04:02AM (01/04)

An officer on patrol pulled over a vehicle for driving without their headlights on. After further investigation the officer concluded that the offender was operating under the influence and arrested the offender.

  • Occurred at 5:02PM (01/03)- Harvard St

Officers responded to a minor car accident on Harvard St, after an attempt to gather the offenders. They found that the offender was operating after suspension. They made the arrest.

  • Occurred at 2:10AM (01/03)-Pearl St

During a traffic stop, officers observed the offender who appeared to be unconscious behind the wheel. After further investigating they arrested the offender for operating under the influence.

  • Occurred at 2:00AM (01/03)- Newton St

During a traffic stop, officers observed a man who appeared to be under the influence. After further investigating they arrested the offender for operating under the influence.

  • Occurred at 4:30PM (01/02) – Harvard St

During a traffic stop officer discovered that the offender did not have a license. The officer arrested the offender.

Breaking and Entering

  • Occurred between 2:00PM and 11:00PM (01/02)- Brookline Ave

Victim report that the front passenger window was smashed in and a Garmin GPS and a Bluetooth Antenna had been taken. These items are valued at approximately $300.

  • Occurred between 6:55PM and 7:15PM (01/02) – St. Marys St.

Victim reported that when they returned to the vehicle the front passenger window was smashed but no items were taken.

  • Occurred between 6:00 and 6:15 (12/31)- Boylston St

Victim reports upon returning to his car, the rear window was smashed and many items were taken. These items include golf equipment, iPod Touch and a laptop, items are valued at approximately $4000.

Burglary

  • Occurred between 12:00PM (12/20) and 3:30PM (12/30)- Gibbs St.

Victim reported that the front door to her apartment had been forced open, although the rooms seemed to be disturbed, nothing appeared to have been taken.
