Police Reports 4/19-4/20

Arrest: Occurred on 4/19 at 6:08 PM- Cypress St.

A vehicle was operating with an expired inspection sticker. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Cypress St. A query of the driver’s information revealed that his license is suspended. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

MV Theft: Occurred on 4/19 at 12:10 Beacon St./ Fairbanks St.

An individual reported the theft of her motor vehicle. The victim stated that she parked her vehicle on the corner of Beacon St. and Fairbanks St. When she exited the vehicle, she dropped her keys underneath the car. The victim stated that she went into her office to get something that she could fish the keys out from under the car with. When she returned her vehicle was missing.

Brookline Police Make Arrests for Recent Crimes

After an extensive investigation into two armed street robberies which occurred on Cypress St on March 2nd, Brookline Detectives obtained arrest warrants for armed robbery for Brandon Bonnet, 20 years old of Mattapan; Jermaine Cohen, 20 years old and Igor Pimentel, 18 years old, both of Everett. On April 12th, detectives arrested Bonnett at his mother’s home in Mattapan. Cohen turned himself into the Brookline District Court on April 13th. Igor Pimentel is still being sought by police.

Brookline Detectives investigating an April 16th Parkway Road home invasion obtained an arrest warrant for Antwann Andrews, 25 years old of Roxbury and South Boston. Charges against Andrews include home invasion, two counts of kidnapping, armed robbery and larceny from the building. Based on the coordinated efforts of the Brookline and Cambridge Police, along with the Boston Regional Intelligence Center, Cambridge Police arrested Andrews on Mt Auburn St in Cambridge on April 18th. The investigation is continuing in an effort to identify two other suspects involved in this crime.

Police Reports 4/18-4/19

Arrest: Occurred on 4/19 at 12:57 AM- Washington St.

A query of a vehicle’s information revealed that the registration as well as the registered owner’s license was suspended. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Washington St. The operator was confirmed to be the registered owner of the vehicle. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension and Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle.

Shoplifting: Occurred on 4/18 at 6:09 PM- Harvard St.

A Stop and Shop employee reported a shoplifter. The employee stated that he observed an individual conceal several items in his clothing. The subject was placed under arrest for shoplifting.

Shoplifting: Occurred on 4/18 at 2:04 PM- Harvard St.

A Stop and Shop employee reported a shoplifter. The employee stated that he observed an individual leave the store without paying for the items in his bags. Officers stopped a man who fit the employee’s description in the surrounding area. Employees positively identified the subject as the shoplifter. The subject was placed under arrest for shoplifting.

Police Reports 4/17-4/18

Breaking and Entering: Occurred on 4/17 at 4:13 PM- Russett Rd.

A Russett Rd. resident reported a breaking and entering. The victim stated that a male subject was inside her home and had run out the back door. The victim stated that when she got out of the shower, she observed a man inside her home that turned around and ran down the stairs and out the back door. The subject was described as a white male, 5’10”, 180 lbs, possibly 17-18 years old, wearing a gray t-shirt, jeans, and a blue baseball hat. Nothing appeared to be missing from the home.

Breaking and Entering: Occurred on Shaw Rd.

An individual reported a breaking and entering of a Shaw Rd. residence. The individual reported that he was checking on his daughter’s house when he discovered that a basement window had been broken. He also observed that the basement lights had been left on and several items that the man had never seen before were left in the basement. It did not appear that anything had been taken from the house.
