BIKE THEFT - Officers were called to Naples Rd for a report of a bike theft. The reporting party shared it had been in the driveway, when it went missing. The matter is under investigation.

BIKE THEFT - Officers responded to a call on Marion St for a report of a bike theft. The reporting party stated they had secured the bike to a bike rack and that both the bike and lock were missing. The matter is under investigation.

LARCENY - Officers were called to Webster St for a report of a stolen purse. The reporting party stated they noticed their purse missing upon returning to their room. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers took report of a fraud. The reporting party shared they were contacted by a bank regarding a fraudulent check. They were advised, and the matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers responded to Eliot Av for a report of a fraud. The reporting party shared that, while looking to purchase an item online, the seller requested gift cards as payment but never delivered the item. The matter is under investigation.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers responded to a call on Harvard St regarding a shoplifting incident. The matter is under investigation.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report of package thefts. The reporting party witnessed an individual placing the contents in a bag and then leaving. The matter is under investigation.

FOUND PROPERTY - Officers were approached by an individual who found an apple watch in the area of Amory Park . The watch was taken to the station for safe keeping.

FRAUD - Officers were called to Washington St for a report of an internet fraud. The victim shared that someone had made several withdrawals online from a bank account. They were advised, and the matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers responded to a call on Aspinwall Av for a report of a fraud. The reporting party shared they received a bill under their name, despite never purchasing or authorizing the account. The matter is under investigation.


Wednesday, September 22

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to a call on Abbottsford Rd for a report of a breaking and entering of an automobile. The reporting party discovered property missing in the morning. The matter is under investigation.

ANIMAL BITE - Animal control was contacted by an individual reporting an incident between two dogs and their owners on Brookline Av. The owner was issued a town by-law citation.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of a fraud. The reporting party shared they were contacted by an individual claiming to be a US Marshall. This individual stated reporting party was a victim of identity theft and would need to send a payment through bitcoin in order to secure a new Social Security Account. The victim was advised to monitor personal information and accounts. The matter is under investigation.


Thursday, September 23

SHOPLIFTING - Officers responded to a call on Commonwealth Ave for a report of shoplifting. The reporting party shared that two individuals entered the store and concealed items in their jacket pockets before leaving. The matter is under investigation.

BURGLARY - Officers were called to Station St regarding a past burglary. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers responded to Stetson St for a report of a fraud. The reporting party shared that they received notice that they applied for unemployment benefits. They were advised to report this as a scam and monitor their accounts for fraudulent activity. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers were called to Boylston St for a report of a fraud. The reporting party shared that they noticed fraudulent withdrawals from a bank account. They were advised to alert their banks. The matter is under investigation.


Friday, September 24

ASSAULT - Officers responded to a report of an assault on Amory St. Upon arrival, they addressed the parties involved and concluded the guilty party will be summonsed for A&B.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers were called to Monmouth St for a report of a package theft. The reporting party shared they received an email confirming the delivery, but the package was gone by the time they went to collect it.


Saturday, September 25

BIKE THEFT - Officers responded to St Paul St for a report of a bike theft. The reporting party stated they secured their bike to a bike rack but returned to find the lock cut and the bike gone. The matter is under investigation.

ASSAULT - Officers were called to Boylston St for a report of a past assault. The victim shared they were in their car at a red light when something struck them in the face. They believe the passenger from another vehicle threw an unknown object at them. The matter is under investigation.


Sunday, September 26

FOUND PROPERTY - Officers responded to a call on Francis St for a report of an abandoned bike. It has been taken to the station for safe keeping.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Officers were called to Harvard St for a report of damage to a building. The reporting party stated they discovered their shop window had been smashed during the night. The matter is under investigation.

ASSAULT - Officers responded to a call in the area of Babcock St and John St for a report of an assault. The responsible party will be summonsed for A&B.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers were called to Commonwealth Ave for a report of shoplifting. The reporting party shared that an individual took items and left without paying. The matter is under investigation.
