Tuesday, November 20th


10:41AM- A larceny report was taken for a stolen cell phone.  A parent reported their child’s phone had been stolen on 11/14.  The reporting party stated his son was in class on 11/14 from 2:10PM to 2:55PM.  The cellphone was in the pocket of his jacket at the start of class.  When he returned to it at the end of class he noticed the phone was missing.  This case is under investigation.

12:15PM- Officers were dispatched to Beacon Street for a report of a shoplifting incident.  The stores assistant manager reported around 12:10PM an unknown male in his late forties to early fifties wearing dark pants, a dark hooded sweatshirt and a shoulder bag entered the store and went to the soap isle.  The individual began placing multiple bottles of body wash into his bag.  The assistant manager confronted the individual.  The suspect apologized, returned the items and fled the store.  In the last two weeks there have been two other separate shoplifting incidents involving larcenies of the same type of body wash.  The store manager confirmed the suspect in this incident is not the same as the suspect from the previous incidents.  This case is being investigated.

Monday, November 19th


9:30AM- A larceny report was taken on High Street.  The reporting party stated three plants that were purchased for the facility’s community room were stolen from the community room sometime between 3:00PM on 11/18 and 9:00AM on 11/19.  This case is being investigated.

8:32PM- Officers responded to Beacon Street for a report of a shoplifting incident.  The store manager described the suspect to officers and reported the suspect attempted to steal multiple bottles of body wash.  A store employee confronted the suspect who then dropped the merchandise and fled the store in an unknown direction.  Surveillance footage confirmed the details.  This case is under investigation.

Sunday November 18th


2:00PM- A report of malicious damage was taken at the Holyhood Cemetery.  The reporting party stated the last time she visited the family gravesite was mid September and nothing was out of order.  When she visited on 11/18/18 she found that the flag next to the family headstone had been burned.  An officer observed pieces of the stick on the ground and remnants of ashes on the gravestone.  This case is being investigated. 

Saturday, November 17th


4:53AM-  A report of malicious damage to vehicle was taken on Egmont Street.  The reporting party stated she parked her vehicle on Egmont Street around 1:00AM and returned to the vehicle around 4:30AM.  She started to drive her vehicle for about 25 feet before she noticed it felt different.  She exited the car and observed all four of her tires were flat.   She believes they were punctured purposely. This case is being investigated.

8:00AM-Officers were dispatched to Chapel Street for a report of a break, entering and larceny.  The complainant stated he arrived to his building on Chapel Street on 11/15/18 around 11:15PM.  He left his vehicle with the valet service that runs parking for the residents of the building.  When he went to retrieve the vehicle the next morning he noticed an item was missing from the back seat.  This case is under investigation.

3:45PM-  Officers responded to a call for a shoplifting incident on Beacon Street.  The store manager reported the suspect entered the store around 3:35PM and left around 3:39PM.  The manager described the suspect in detail and reported the suspect stole three bottles of body wash.  This case is being investigated.

4:50PM- Officers received a report of a shoplifting incident on Harvard Street.  The loss prevention officer reported the suspect entered the store around 3:53PM and left around 4:00PM.  The suspect was described to officers and clothing was reported stolen.  This case is under investigation.

Thursday, November 15th


9:13AM- Officers responded to a call for a larceny report.  The reporting party stated he ordered a package which had been confirmed delivered on 10/12/18 although he had not received the package.  This case is under investigation.
