Arrests:

Occurred at 3:04 AM (6/3) – Washington St/ Juniper Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for attaching motor vehicle license plates to a different car. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject’s license was suspended. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension.

Occurred between 7:07 AM (6/3) and 8:31 AM (6/3) – Lee Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for having an invalid registration sticker. Upon investigation officers learned that the operator had a straight warrant out for his arrest. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for the warrant charges, failure to re- register and no registration sticker.

Arrests:

Occurred at 4:48 PM (5/31) – Chestnut St/ Perkins St

Officers conducted a traffic stop for failure to yield at an intersection. Upon investigation officers learned that the operator did not have a registration for the vehicle and appeared to be under the influence of some sort. During the stop officers learned that the subject had a substance described as heroin and other contraband in his possession. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for Possession of a Class A substance, no registration in possession and failure to yield at a rotary.

Occurred between 11:40 AM (5/28) and 5:06 PM (5/31) – Beacon Street

Officers responded to a report of a person attempting to pass a stolen check. Upon investigation officers learned that a male subject had attempted to cash stolen checks multiple times. During the last attempt the subject got nervous and fled. Officers were conducting searches within the area for the suspect. At one point the suspect was located but still continued to flea. Officers later returned to the suspect’s house and the subject was subsequently placed under arrests for 2 active warrants.

Occurred between 5:45 PM (5/31) and 6:05 PM (5/31) – Harvard St/ Beacon Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a red light violation. Upon investigation officers learned that the subjects license to operate in Massachusetts was suspended. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension.

Occurred on 6:29 PM (6/1)- Longwood Avenue

Officers received information from a NY police department on a recent robbery. Officers learned that the suspect of that past robbery was believed to be in Brookline. Officers learned the location of the stolen cell phone and responded. Upon investigation officers observed the suspect and interviewed him. The suspect was in possession of the stolen items and had visible signs of heroin possession. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for possession of a Class A substance, and receiving stolen property.

Larceny:

Occurred at 10:05 AM (5/31) – Beacon Street

Officers responded to a report of larceny. Upon investigation officers learned that the victims purse was stolen from behind the counter of a local butcher store. Multiple items were in the purse and stolen. The purse was later recovered in a near by dumpster with most of its contents missing.

Arrests:

Occurred at 9:06 PM (5/27) – Harvard Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a marked lanes violation. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject did not have a proper license to operate in Massachusetts. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for marked lanes violation and not duly licensed.

Occurred at 2:20 AM (5/29) – Harvard Street/ Linden Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop due to suspicious behavior. Officers observed a subject vomiting out of a parked car. Upon arrival officers learned that the subject was feeling sick and stopped the car to vomit. Officers quickly observed a smell of alcoholic beverages emanating from the vehicle. Officers conducted field sobriety tests and learned that the subject had been operating under the influence of alcohol. The subject had a suspended license as well. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating under the influence of alcohol, and operating after suspension.

Occurred at 3:32 AM (5/28) – Beacon Street/ Centre Street

Officer conducted a traffic stop due to a lane violation. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject was in possession of pepper spray that was not properly licensed. The subject was subsequently placed under arrests for unlawful possession of ammunition, marked lane violation, and unreasonable noise from a motor vehicle.

Shoplifting:

Occurred between 10:37 AM (5/27) and 11:00 AM (5/27) – Beacon Street

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting. Upon arrival officers learned that an employee had observed several razor blades missing from the stores display. The employees looked at the surveillance cameras and observed a male subject placing several razor blades into a bag and then flee the store.

Larceny:

Occurred at 7:50 PM (5/24) – Commonwealth Avenue

Officers responded to a report of larceny. Upon arrival officers learned that a customer had stolen a bottle of tanning lotion from the store. The surveillance camera showed the customer placed the lotion into the bag. Employees of the store identified the subject and the subject was contacted to come back in and pay for the lotion. The subject never showed and will be summonsed to court for larceny.

Burglary:

Occurred between 7:00 AM (5/22) and 2:15 PM (5/30) – Thatcher Street

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. Upon arrival officers learned that the victims were on vacation for a week and when they returned home they noticed items missing from the house and multiple rooms in disarray.
