JANUARY 8, 2020
At 1:15PM, an officer responded to a business on Harvard St for a past burglary. At approximately 2:30PM on January 7th, the suspect entered the business through an unlocked rear door. The suspect then goes to the manager's office and steals cash. On the way out, the suspect goes through an employee's bag and steals additional items. The incident is under investigation.

JANUARY 6, 2020
At 10:25AM, an officer responded to the Lawton St Community Garden for destruction of property. Over the past few months, there have been several instances of items being taken from the garden or disturbed. Sometime over the past few days, garlic plants were dug up.
At 3:15PM, officers responded to a business on Harvard St for a shoplifter that fled towards Boston. It was determined that the suspect filled a shopping cart with items and walked out of the store without paying. When confronted by staff, the suspect left the cart behind and fled the store. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
An officer responded to a residence on Park St for a package theft report. The package was left in a secured lobby area and was stolen sometime on January 4th.
An officer responded to a hotel on Webster St for an item stolen from a hotel room. Over a span of less than an hour, entry into the hotel room was made and a pair of sneakers were stolen.

At 3:05PM, a victim came to the police station to report a theft. The suspect purchased a video game from the victim online and requested a return a day later. When the game was mailed back to the victim, the game disc was missing.
At 6:22PM, officers responded to a residence on Yarmouth Rd for a residential alarm activated. Upon the arrival of officers, a smashed window on the rear door was located. Officers entered the house and determined no one was inside, but multiple items were moved around. It is unknown what was stolen at this time.

At 9:30AM, officers responded to the intersection of Brookline Ave and Aspinwall Ave for two suspects of a past burglary stopped by management. Upon further investigation it was determined that the two suspects had broken into an apartment on Village Way multiple times over the course of several days. Both suspects were arrested for burglary.
An officer responded to a gas station on Commonwealth Av for two motor vehicles stolen the day prior. Upon further investigation it was determined that two suspects entered the business pretending to be employees of a car share service. Believing the suspects were legitimate employees, they were provided keys to two vehicles. Both vehicles were later remotely shut down and determined to be in Boston.
At 2:30PM, officers responded to a business on Commonwealth Ave where a suspect was leaving the store without paying for a television. The suspect was stopped a short distance away and placed under arrest for shoplifting.
At 8:50PM, officers responded to a business on Harvard St where a suspect was seen concealing items without paying and then fleeing the store. The suspect was stopped a short distance away on an MBTA bus. The suspect was arrested for shoplifting.

At 2:00PM, an officer responded to a residence on Beacon St for a past burglary. The burglary was determined to have occurred sometime over several days with two televisions and an Ipad stolen. The case remains under investigation.
