November 29th Police Reports

Arrests

  • Occurred at 3:05AM (11/29)- 400 Heath Street

Ethan Tuitt, 19 yrs, was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and Battery, and Assault with a Firearm.

Justin Cuda, 19 yrs, was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and Battery, and Assault with a Firearm.

Police responded to Pine Manor College where several victims reported being assaulted with what they believed was a firearm. Police spoke to one of the witnesses who said one of her friends and her former boyfriend had gotten into an argument in the parking lot that eventually led to the male physically sticking the female. The witness then explained that the suspect’s accomplice displayed what appeared to be a gun. It was then reported that the victim and several others while in fear of being assaulted by a gun ran and were subsequently chased by the man and his friends. The suspect and his friend were arrested, and police were able to confiscate a knife, and a Marijuana pipe.

  • Occurred between 8PM and 8:08PM (11/29)- 1334 Beacon Street

Gregory Kirsh, 29 yrs, was arrested and charged with Shoplifting.

Employees at radio shack reported that a man had come into the store with no receipt in an attempt to return headphones for cash, the employee believed this to be suspicious because the same suspect had been in the store about 10 minutes prior and after employees reviewed the security tape it was learned the man had stolen the headphones, he was subsequently arrested.

Attempted Burglary

  • Occurred at 12AM (11/25)- Heath Street

Victim reported that earlier in the week sometime during the night he had heard loud sounds coming from his yard and also noticed his motion sensor light go on. In the morning the man noticed what was described as punch marks on his window, this case is still under investigation.

Fraud

  • Occurred at 11AM (11/29)- Sumner Road

Victim reported that she was contacted about several suspicious transactions being made on her credit card. The victim reported that she subsequently cancelled the card; however the fraudulent charges had already amounted to approximately $300.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 2:20PM and 2:30PM (11/29)- Beacon Street

Victim reported that her wallet was stolen sometime while she was shopping at The GAP; the wallet was valued at approximately $35.

November 28th Police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred at 12:16PM (11/28)- Fuller/ Commonwealth Avenue

Izoduwa Enoma, 21 yrs, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Class D Substance and additional Drug Law Violations.

Akeem Custis, 23 years, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Class D Substance and additional Drug Law Violations.

Police on patrol noticed the vehicle’s driver having several suspicious interactions with pedestrians. After stopping the vehicle it was learned its driver was selling Marijuana. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a large amount of Marijuana packaged separately, in addition to a digital scale, the driver was subsequently arrested. After the arrest the officer noticed one of the individuals he had seen previously involved in the incriminating transaction with the arrestee. The officer stopped this individual and it was discovered that he was in possession of Marijuana, he was additionally arrested.

Summons

  • Occurred between 2:01AM and 2:30AM (11/28)-233 Washington Street

Police observed a vehicle traveling with a defective headlight and upon stopping the vehicle it was discovered the operator had an expired license, he will be summonsed to court for operating with an Expired License, and operating with an Defective Taillight.

Graffiti

  • Occurred at 8:33AM (11/28) - 46 Tappan Street

A teacher at Brookline High School reported that fresh graffiti had been written on one of the buildings in the schools upper parking lot, the cost of this damage is unknown.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 3PM and 11PM (11/27)-299 Harvard Street

An employee at Panera Bread reported that sometime while she was work her wallet was stolen from her purse, the purse contained a credit card, a license as well as several gift cards for various merchants.

  • Occurred between 10:30AM and 11:30AM (11/28) - 270 Tappan Street

Victim reported that sometime over a one hour period his vehicles driver’s side window was smashed and an empty lap top bag valued at $50 and a GPS navigation system valued at $499 were stolen.

November 27th Police Reports

Summons

  • Occurred at 7:45AM (11/27)-120 Seaver Road

Police responded to reports of an assault and battery and were met by one victim who explained he and his boss had just gotten into a physical altercation. Police were then able to locate the other man involved and both suspects were informed they would be summonsed to court for Assault and Battery.

  • Occurred at 8:40AM(11/27)-Beacon Street/ James Street

Police stopped a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker and upon speaking with the driver it was learned that her license was also expired along with the vehicles registration, the woman was subsequently informed she would be summonsed to court for being Not Duly License, Expired Inspection Sticker, and Expired Registration.

Breaking and Entering

  • Occurred at 8:10AM (11/27) - 76 Buckminster Road

Victim reports that someone had broken into his home which is currently being renovated. It appears as though entry was gained through the back door however nothing was reported missing at this time.

  • Occurred between 12:30PM and 3:30PM (11/27) – 15 Vernon Street

Victim reports that sometime over a three hour period his apartment was broken into and a laptop computer valued at $600 was stolen from the front hallway.

November 26th Police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred at 10:51AM(11/26)- Boylston Street/ Dunster Road

Shedrick Harris, 24 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating after Suspension, Operating with an Expired Inspection Sticker, and an Unregistered Motor Vehicle.

Police on patrol witnessed a vehicle traveling with an expired inspection sticker and upon stopping the vehicle it was learned that the driver right to operate had been suspended and that he never registered his motor vehicle, he was subsequently arrested.

Assault

  • Occurred at 6:23PM (11/26) - Longwood MBTA Stop

Victim reported to police that he was assaulted by a group of teenagers while riding his bicycle along the Longwood footbridge. The victim reported that he saw 3 black males standing in front of him when suddenly an Asian male jumped out of the bushes and hit him from behind with what was described as a wooden 2x4. The victim fell off his bike and was repeatedly kicked and punched by all 4 assailants before the suspects fled by foot towards the Fenway area. The victim describes the suspects as 3 black males in their teens who all wore baggy jeans and dark sweatshirts. One of those suspects is described as 150-175lbs with a goatee. The other male is described as a heavyset Asian teenager weighing approximately 185lbs who was last seen wearing baggy jeans and a blue bandana.



Malicious Damage

  • Occurred between 8AM (11/19) and 8AM (11/26)- 90 Longwood Avenue

Victim reported that over the last couple of days her vehicle has been repeatedly damaged. The malicious damage has amounted to several large and small dents; the cost of this damage is unknown.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 5:20PM and 6:53PM (11/26)- 8 Gerry Road

Victim reported that someone had smashed his passenger’s side window and taken his GPS navigation system valued at $499.

November 25th Police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred at 12:40AM (11/25)- Beacon Street/ St Mary’s Street

Manuel Pina, 33 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating after Suspension, and Failure to Display Headlights.

Police on patrol stopped a vehicle traveling without its headlights. After stopping the vehicle police discovered that the driver’s right to operate had been suspended and he was subsequently arrested.

  • Occurred at 3:16AM (11/25)- 1120 Beacon Street

A man was arrested and charged with Tampering with a Fire Alarm.

Police responded to a fire alarm and witnessed a man running in his underwear down the street, while speaking with the man police learned that he had falsely pulled the alarm and he was subsequently arrested.

  • Occurred between 11:10PM and 11:27PM (11/25)

Gerard Bates, 43 yrs, was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery.

Police responded to reports of a fight and upon arrival it was discovered the incident was a domestic altercation, police were able to identify the suspect and he was subsequently arrested.

Summons

  • Occurred at 9:15PM (11/25)- 300 South Street

A patient of Bournewood Hospital will be summonsed to court for Indecent Assault and Battery. Police responded to the Hospital and spoke with the victim who is a patient and after she reported being assaulted the suspect was subsequently identified and informed he would be summonsed to court for Indecent Assault and Battery.

Graffiti

  • Occurred at 3:33PM (11/25)- 90 Browne Street

Victim reported seeing freshly painted graffiti on the side of the building, the graffiti was written in black ink and this case is still under investigation.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 11:59AM (11/24) and 3PM (11/25)- 115 Chestnut Street

Victim reported that sometime overnight his vehicles drivers’ side window had been smashed and his GPS navigation system valued at $420 was stolen from the dashboard.

  • Occurred between 3PM and 4:40PM (11/25)- 1281 West Roxbury Parkway

Victim reported her front passenger’s side window had been smashed and her pocketbook and wallet valued at $370 collectively had been stolen from the inside. The wallet contained credit cards, a cell phone, $100 cash, and a license.

November 24th Police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred at 10:29AM (11/24)- 1401 Beacon Street

Jose Pina, 41 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating after Suspension.

Police on patrol witnessed a vehicle traveling without a side mirror and upon stopping the vehicle it was discovered that the drivers right to operate had been suspended and he was subsequently arrested.

  • Occurred at 12:24PM (11/24)- Beacon Street/ Winthrop Road

Kevin Lasquade, 24 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating while Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor, Fleeing the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident, Fleeing the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, and other various traffic offenses.

Police responded to reports of a construction back hoe hitting a parked vehicle and driving away. Police witnessed the backhoe traveling on the street speeding and crossing the double yellow line. Police attempted to pull the vehicle over and after a short distance the backhoe pulled to the side of the road where officers were able to identify the driver and at that point it was determined that the backhoes operator was under the influence of alcohol. It was additionally discovered that Lasquade did not have a license to operate the backhoe he was subsequently arrested.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 3PM and 3:30PM (11/23)- 1030 Commonwealth Avenue

Police responded to Kayuga Restaurant and were met by an employee who reported that her wallet and her co-workers wallet were stolen sometime during the day Friday the contents of the wallets are currently unknown.

  • Occurred between 1PM and 4PM (11/24)- 356 Harvard Street

Victim reported that his vehicles passenger’s side window had been pried out and his GPS navigation system valued at approximately $400 taken from the dashboard.

November 23rd Police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred at 2PM (11/23) - 59 Pleasant Street

David Small, 50 yrs, was arrested and charged with Larceny.

Police on patrol noticed a suspicious male entering various apartment lobbies without any intended purpose. Police witnessed the man enter several lobbies and leave with packages. Upon questioning the man it was learned that the packages were not his and he was subsequently arrested.

Burglary

  • Occurred between 12:01AM (11/22) and 3:56AM (11/23) - 1317 Beacon Street 6307

Police responded to Trader Joes where an employee reported that upon arriving to work he noticed the stores safe missing from the manager’s officer. Police noticed that the office was visibly in disarray, the safe contained an undisclosed amount of money and this case is still under investigation.

  • Occurred between 5:10AM (11/19) and12PM (11/21)-150 Walnut Street

Victim reported that upon returning home from being on vacation she discovered her jewelry box opened and dumped on her bed. She reported that approximately $20,000 worth of jewelry including about 20 pairs of earrings, 4 diamond rings, and numerous bracelets had been stolen from the apartment as well as a laptop computer, police are still currently investigating this case.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 7PM and 7:15PM (11/20) - 66 Tappan Street

Victim reported leaving her coat and bag in the corner of the gym after a high school dance. She returned 15 minutes later to discover her belongings missing. The coat contained a cell phone valued at $420 as well as a digital camera valued at $200. The wallet contained about $10 in cash.

  • Occurred between 12:15PM and 12:53PM (11/23) - 473 Harvard Street

Victim reported that he had dropped his wallet inside Starbucks and upon returning to the store noticed it missing. The wallet contained $50 cash and various bank and identification cards.

  • Occurred between 2:52PM and 3PM (11/23) - 1302 Beacon Street

An employee at Mint Julep Clothing reported that a dress had been stolen sometime during the day. The dress is valued at $318.

Fraud

  • Occurred between 8AM (11/11) and 8AM (11/19) - 130 Clyde Street

Victim reported receiving notification from his bank that several suspicious transactions had been made on his card, the total amount of fraudulent purchases is approximately $750.

November 22nd Police Reports

Summons

  • Occurred between 2:15AM and 2:35AM (11/22) - Penniman Road/Dean Road

Police will summons a juvenile woman to court after discovering she was operating a vehicle without a proper license. Police stopped the vehicle after witnessing it traveling without its headlights, and the juvenile driver was only able to provide officers with a Learners Permit. She will be summonsed to court for Operating without a License, and Operating without Headlights.

  • Occurred between 2PM and 2:49PM (11/22) - 27 Francis Street

Police responded to an alarm at the Lawrence School and witnessed a juvenile suspect inside. Police also stopped an additional juvenile suspect a short distance away and learned the boys entered the school through an open window, they will be summonsed to court for Breaking and Entering.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 10:15AM and 10:45AM (11/22) - 76 Buckminster Road

Victim reported that sometime over a 20 minute period his vehicles passenger side window was smashed and his GPS navigation system valued at approximately $400 was taken from the dashboard.

November 21st Police Reports

Robbery

  • Occurred at 1:18AM (11/21)-25 Washington Street

Police responded to a call of a robbery at Brookline Village Gulf Station and upon arrival spoke with an employee who reported being robbed by a black male with a firearm. The victim reported that the suspect was approximately 5'08” and weighed between 150 and 160lbs. The suspect wore a black bandana and sunglasses, the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police canvassed the area for the suspect with negative results.

Larceny

  • Occurred at 10:38AM (11/21) - 1540 Beacon Street

Victim reported that her wallet had been stolen from her pocket book sometime while she was at work. The wallet contained $90 cash, a $100 gift card and personal papers.

  • Occurred between 12PM and 1PM (11/20) - 300 South Street

Victim reported leaving her cell phone in the common area of Bournewood Hospital and when she returned 20 minutes later she discovered the phone missing. The phone is valued at $300.

  • Occurred between 6:30PM and 7:30PM (11/16) - 155 Harvard Street

The victim an employee at Stop and Shop reported his laptop and cell phone were stolen sometime while he was at work. The combined value of these items is $1350 and this case is still under investigation.

Graffiti

  • Occurred between 11PM (11/17) and 9AM (11/18)-105 Marion Street

A victim reported that sometime overnight a large amount of graffiti had been written on the side of the building. The cost of this damage is unkn
