August 5th Police Reports

ARRESTS

  • Occurred at 1:58AM (8/05)- 1651 Beacon Street

Matthew McGrath, 24 yrs, was arrested because of several outstanding warrants.

Officers were called to Golden Temple to escort a man from the premises who was trying to enter after hours. The man who was identified as Matthew McGrath had several outstanding warrants. He was subsequently arrested.

  • Occurred at 2:11AM (8/05)- 1110 Beacon Street

Luis Acevedo, 30 yrs, was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct.

Detectives noticed a man park his vehicle in an alleyway, peep into a window of an apartment, then return to his vehicle and drive off. Police followed the man and pulled him over after he made several motor vehicle infractions. The man admitted to looking in the window and acknowledged he needs help with this issue. He was subsequently arrested.

  • Occurred at 2:52AM (8/05)- 599 Brookline Avenue

Eugeniy Dolzhenkov, 36 yrs, was arrested and charged with Failure to Stop at a Red Light, Operating after Revocation, and a Default Warrant.

Police noticed a vehicle fail to stop at a red light. Upon pulling the car over police learned that the driver later identified as Eugeniy Dolzhenkov had a suspended license. Furthermore, Dolzhenkov also had an outstanding warrant out for his arrest. He was subsequently arrested.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 8:30PM (8/04) and 10:53AM (8/05)- 1223 Beacon Street

Victim reported sometime overnight her vehicle’s rear window was smashed and items were taken from her backseat. Although her $1000 GPS navigation system was untouched a bag containing curtains was stolen from the vehicle. The curtains were valued at $60.

  • Occurred between 1:30PM and 2PM (8/05)- 315 Harvard Street

Victim reports she left her bankcard inside the ATM, and $200 was fraudulently withdrawn from her account.

  • Occurred between 10AM (7/27) and 4PM (8/05)- 127 Fuller Street

Victim reports while he was on vacation two bikes were stolen from his open garage. One bike is a grey woman’s Trek equipped with a child seat. The second bike is described as a royal blue Specialized mountain bike. The value of these two bikes is approximately $450.

  • Occurred between 6:30PM (8/03) and 6:30PM (8/05) - 31 Hyslop Road

Victim reports while walking he noticed papers under a bush near his vehicles location. He reports that upon investigation he discovered his laptop case and business papers in the bush. He then checked his vehicle and noticed his laptop had been stolen from the back seat.
