11/19/2020

 Officers took 3 unemployment fraud reports between 11/17 and 11/18

11/18/2020- Officers responded to CVS on Commonwealth Ave for a report of a shoplifter.  The employees reported to the officers that a customer was in the store and had placed multiple items into a bag and leave the store without purchasing.

11/18/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a resident of Dummer St.  The resident reported to officers that they had received a delivery notification for a package. When they went to retrieve the package they found that the package was missing.

11/18/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident on Freeman St.  The resident reported that their bike was stolen from the basement storage room of the building.

11/18/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of Pleasant St.  The resident reported that their bike was stolen from their garage.

11/18/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of Pleasant St.  The resident reported to the officers that their bike was stolen from the garage.  It had been locked to a child’s bike, the lock had been cut and the child’s bike was left behind.

11/18/2020

 Offices took 14 unemployment fraud reports from 11/17-11/18

11/17/2020- Officers took graffiti report on Marion St.  It was reported to officers that workers reported to work to find that there were graffiti markings on the roof of the building.

11/17/2020- Officers responded to Walgreens on Harvard St. for a report of a shoplifter.  The employees reported to the officers that a customer had come in and placed multiple items into a bag and left the store without purchasing. 

11/17/2020-Officers were called to Brookline Bank on Beacon St for a report of robbery that had just occurred. The suspect is described as a White/Latinx male, slim build, 40-50 years old, approximately 5’8” wearing a hoodie and a blue hat with a white logo on it. The suspect demanded money from bank employees using a note, which indicated he had a gun. The suspect fled the bank on foot, towards Park Drive.

11/17/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of Pleasant St.  The resident reported to officers that two bikes were taken from their garage.

11/17/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of Pleasant St.  The resident reported to officers that their bike was placed in the underground garage of their building.  When they went to retrieve it they found the bike was gone.

11/17/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a resident of Kent St.  The resident reported that they got a delivered confirmation for a package. When they went to retrieve it the package was gone.

11/17/2020

 Officers took 19 reports for Unemployment fraud between 11/15 and 11/16

11/16/2020- Officers took a larceny of a purse report from a resident of Mulford St.  The resident reported that their purse had possibly been stolen at a business on Washington St.  They had been running errands all day and when they returned home they found their bag was gone.  The business on Washington St was the last place they recalled seeing it.

11/16/2020

 Between 11/12/2020- and 11/15/2020 officers took 33 reports for Unemployment Fraud.

11/12/2020- Officers took a graffiti report for damage done to a town owned street sign.

11/13/2020- Offices took a report for a break and enter of a motor vehicle on Boylston St.  The victim reported to the officers that their vehicle had been parked in a lot on Boylston St.  When they went to retrieve their vehicle, they found it had been rummaged though and multiple items removed.

11/13/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a resident of Babcock St.  The resident reported to the officers that they received a delivered notification on a package they were waiting for. When they went to retrieve the package they found it was gone.

11/14/2020- Officers were called to CVS on Harvard St for a report of a shoplifting.  The employees informed officers that there was a customer in the store who had been attempting to shoplift from the store. 

11/14/2020- Officers took a report for a larceny from Center St.  The victim reported that they were dropping someone off on Centre St.  While helping the individual into their house, someone took items from their car.

11/15/2020- Officers took a shoplifting report from Target on Commonwealth Ave.   The employees reported to officers that a customer had been in the store earlier in the week and had placed multiple items in a back pack and left the store without purchasing.

11/15/2020- Officers took a larceny report from a business on Harvard St.  Employees reported coming into the business and found that items within the office were out of place and multiple items were missing.

11/15/2020- While investigating a shoplifting case at Target on Commonwealth Ave.  Officer identified two individuals who were attempting to leave the store without purchasing items.  Both parties were placed under arrest for multiple charges, including Shoplifting.  

11/15/2020- Officers took a report for a break and enter of a motor vehicle on Dummer St.   The resident reported that their car had been parked in the garage on Dummer St.  When they returned to the car they found that it had been rummaged through and multiple items had been removed.
