October 24th Police Reports

Motor Vehicle Theft

  • Occurred between 11AM and 1:36PM (10/24)-129 Fisher Ave

Victim reported that sometime over a 3 hr period an unknown suspect had stolen his motor vehicle from a parking space on Fisher Ave. The vehicle is described as a gray two door 1999 Honda Civic; the value of this vehicle is unknown.

October 23rd Police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred at 3:26PM (10/23) - Chestnut Street/Franklin Street

Yeizon Delarosa, 20 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating after Revocation.

Police on patrol stopped a vehicle after it failed to use proper turn signals and further investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle had a revoked license. He was subsequently arrested.


Larceny

  • Occurred between 7:30PM (10/22) and 5:30AM (10/23) - 2 Benjamin Pl

Victim reported that sometime overnight his driver’s side tire had been stolen from his vehicle.

October 22nd Police Reports

Summons

  • Occurred at 3:40AM (10/22)-186 Chestnut Street

Police responded to a call of a hit and run accident and upon arrival saw two damaged cars but no drivers present. After canvassing the area for a suspect police discovered a man walking away from the crash the man will be summonsed to court for being Not Duly Licensed, Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Accident, Providing a False Name to a Police Officer, and Marked Lanes Violation.

Burglary

  • Occurred between 2:45PM (10/19) and 6:30AM (10/22) - 1309 Beacon Street

Victim reports that sometime over the weekend an unknown suspect had gained entry to an electrical room at Trader Joes and taken over $6000 worth of electrical equipment from the interior.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 1PM and 6PM (10/22) - 1281 West Roxbury Parkway

Victim reported that his vehicle’s driver side window had been smashed and his GPS navigation system valued at $500 had been taken from the dashboard.

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred between 3:30PM and 10PM (10/22) - 40 Babcock Street

Victim reported that sometime during the day an unknown suspect had flattened three of his trucks tires.

October 21st Police Reports

Malicious Damage

Occurred between 4PM (10/20) and 5:59AM (10/21)-1110 Beacon Street

Victim reported that sometime overnight the front passenger window of his vehicle had been smashed. No items were reported missing at this time and the cost of this damage is unknown.

October 20th Police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred at 11:21AM (10/20) - 1125 Boylston Street

David Chhour, 22 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating after Suspension.

Police pulled over a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and discovered its operator’s driver’s license had been suspended and he was subsequently arrested.

  • Occurred at 5:15PM (10/20) - Sears Road/ Lee Street

Jared Roberge 18, yrs, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Class D Substance (Marijuana), Minor in Possession of Alcohol, and other drug law violations.

Police discovered a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of the road and observed a male return to the vehicle. Upon speaking with the man officers could see a bottle of alcohol in plain view as well as a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle police discovered a scale, many sandwich bags which are commonly used to package drugs, and a vile of a green leafy substance believed to be Marijuana, and a glass pipe with Marijuana residue inside.

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred between 10:40PM (10/19) and 12:43AM (10/20) - 74 Babcock Street

Victim reported sometime overnight her vehicles front windshield had been shattered by a rock. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicle at this time.

  • Occurred between 8:20AM and 10:48AM (10/20) - 2 River Rd

The victim’s front passenger window to his vehicle was smashed sometime in the morning hours, however no items were reported missing at this time and the cost of the damage is unknown.

Loud Party

  • Occurred at 2:11AM (10/20) - 54 Egmont Street

Police patrolling areas of recent loud party complaints discovered a party with many underage occupants as well as a large amount of liquor present. The residents of the apartment, all of which are students at Boston University, will be summonsed to court for 3 counts of Minor in Possession of Alcohol and 1 count of Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor.

  • Occurred at 12:21AM (10/20) - 175 Freeman Street-

Police on patrol witnessed an underage female walking down the street with a ‘party’ cup, and upon questioning the subject it was discovered that the cup contained an alcoholic beverage. The woman, a BU student, will be summonsed to court for Minor in Possession of Alcohol.

  • Occurred at 1:52AM (10/20) - 241 Freeman Street

Police responded to a call of a loud party and discovered in plain view a large quantity of empty beer cans and bottles of hard alcohol throughout the apartment, the two residents of the apartment, both students at Boston University, will be summonsed to court for Minor In Possession of Alcohol, and Disturbing the Peace.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 8:50AM and 9:46AM (10/20)- 67 Dummer Street

Victim reports that sometime during the morning hours the passenger side window to his vehicle was smashed and his GPS navigation unit, IPod, and a powercord were reported missing from the vehicle. The combined cost of these items is $680.

October 19th Police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred at 2:50AM (10/19)

Daniel Burke, 38 yrs, was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault and Battery.

Larceny

  • Occurred at 10:10AM (8/06) - 1908 Beacon Street

The owner of Cleveland Circle Dental reported that a patient was refusing to pay an outstanding bill and when the man did issue a check it bounced due to insufficient funds. The man will be summonsed to court for larceny by check.

Summons

  • Occurred at 5:51PM (10/19) - Beacon Street/ Strathmore Road

Police will summons a man to court for Receiving Stolen Property and being Not Duly Licensed. Police stopped the vehicle after a check of the registration number indicated the vehicle was stolen. Further investigation revealed the man had rented the vehicle but had not returned the car by the agreed upon date. In addition the driver was unlicensed and will be separately summonsed to court for being Not Duly Licensed and Receiving Stolen Property.
