The Brookline Police Department Child Seat Safety Program holds weekly checkpoints with trained police technicians who are available to assist with installations, inspect seats and educate on child passenger safety.

Crime Report (3/1/07)
ARRESTS
•Feb. 28, 2007- Lee Street
Susan Noonan was arrested for O.U.I.L. and marked lanes violation.
•Feb. 28, 2007- Harvard Street/Green Street
Luis Andujar was placed under arrest for operating after suspension.
B&E&L OF MOTOR VEHICLE
•Between 10:00 p.m. (2/27/07) and 12:05 a.m. (2/28/07)- Lanark Road
The passenger side window of the victim’s vehicle was smashed. The only item that the victim noticed missing was a Zippo lighter (valued at $20).
FRAUD
•January 1, 1998- Pond Avenue
Victim reported he had attempted to apply for a loan, but was unable to due to an outstanding debt out of Providence, Rhode Island. The debt was an unpaid bill of $337 to NSTAR Gas Company. The victim stated that he never lived in Providence, and was unaware of anyone that does.
LARCENY
•Between 11:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. (2/28/07)- Boylston Street
The victim, and employee of Hammond Reality Trust, had her purse stolen at the above time and location. She had left them on a chair in the back room of the office. The purse had contained a debit card and check book from Bank of America, four credit cards, and $25 in cash. The victim later reported that her debit card had been used at three locations: mini mart/Exxon station in Needham ($12.50 in gasoline), Stop and Shop in Natick ($101.50), and Macy’s at the Natick Mall ($1100, transaction declined).
