Arrests
Occurred at 1:58 PM (1/13) – Brookline Avenue
Police conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle with no registration. During the stop the driver refused to provide the officer with a driver's license and refused identify herself. Upon investigation the officer learned that the vehicle was unregistered and uninsured. The driver was arrested for failure to identify herself while operating a motor vehicle, operating an uninsured vehicle, and unregistered motor vehicle.
Occurred at 3:18 PM (1/13) – Pleasant Street
Officers responded to a violation of a prevention order. Upon talking with the suspected violator, the individual was arrested for violation of a prevention order.
Threats
Occurred between 2:43 PM and 6:02 PM – Harvard Street
Officers responded to a report of a threat to commit a crime. Upon arrival the complainant, who ownes a small busines, stated he had received threatening phone calls from a previous employee. Police subsequently requested the suspect be summonsed into Brookline District Court for a criminal complaint against the suspect for annoying phone calls.

Larceny
Occurred between 9:15 (1/11) and 10:10 (1/11) – Greenough Street
Officers responded to reports of stolen property. A student stated that his backpack was missing. When the back pack was later found, several items were missing from the backpack.
Occurred between 12:00 PM (10/01) and 6:00 PM (12/1) – Centre Street
Officers responded to a report of stolen merchandise from a local residence. The victim was missing a package that was delivered to the front lobby of the building. Officers will conduct a follow up investigation.

Occurred at 12:24 PM (1/10) – Webster Street/ Harvard Street
Officers made a traffic stop for an expired inspection sticker. Upon investigation the officers learned that the driver of the vehicle was driving without a license. The driver was arrested for Operating without a license and an expired inspection sticker.
Occurred at 1:43 PM (1/10) – Washington Street
Officers responded to an unwanted person call at the Brookline Public Library. Upon arrival officers found an extremely intoxicated male viewing pornography on a library computer. The male was placed under arrests for Disorderly Person and Resisting arrest.
Possession
Occurred at 10:08 (1/11) – Harvard Street/ Kent Street
Officers made a stop for a person acting suspicious. The officer conducted a pat and frisk search of both parties and discovered the party was in possession of a town street sign and marijuana. Both subjects will be summonsed to court, one for Defacement of Property and Possession of Marijuana, the other with Possession of a controlled substance.

Indecent Exposure
Occurred between 2:30 PM (1/8) and 3:04 PM (1/8) - Pleasant Street
Officer responded to an indecent exposure call at a local library. A witness claimed that a man had entered the library and showed himself in an inappropriate manner. The man had left when police arrived.
Larceny
Occurred between 8:00 AM (10/10) and 3:52 PM (12/10) - Thornton Road
A victim reported that pieces of antique belongings had been stolen. She stated that there was neither forced entry into the house nor any evidence that suggested that the house was broken into. Police are following up on the case.
Arrests
Occurred at 5:14 PM (1/8) – Beacon Street
Officers responded to a shoplifting report. A suspect had been observed by the store employees stealing goods from Trader Joe’s. The suspect was arrested for shoplifting.
Occurred at 5:33 PM (1/8) – Beacon Street
Officers made a traffic stop for an unregistered vehicle. The driver was arrested for several arrests warrants and charged with multiple motor vehicle charges.
Occurred between 3:56 PM (1/9) and 4:30 PM (1/9) – Philbrick Road/ Boylston Street
Officer made traffic stop for speeding. Upon their investigation police learned that the driver was operating a motor vehicle without being properly licensed. The driver was arrested for not duly licensed.
Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle
Occurred between 6:00 PM (1/9) and 7:45 PM (1/9) – Amory Street
Officer responded to a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle report. The victim stated that the rear passenger window was smashed and several valuable items were missing from the vehicle.
