MARCH 4, 2020

An officer took a report for a false bomb threat at a financial institution on West Roxbury Parkway. Staff stated they called the suspect's wife the day earlier in attempt to discuss financial matters. The call went to voicemail and staff did not leave a message. Upon returning to work the next day, staff received several calls/voicemails from the suspect. The suspect made threats of physical harm and to "blow you up". After further investigation, a warrant was requested for the suspect for various criminal charges.

Officers responded to a residence on Beacon St for a package theft just occurred. The reporting party observed the suspect enter the courtyard area of the residence and remove a package, which she believed was suspicious. Responding officers observed an individual matching the description a short distance away. After further investigation, it was determined that the suspect had stolen multiple packages from residences in Brookline and Boston. The suspect was arrested.

MARCH 3, 2020

At 1745 hrs, officers responded to Pond Ave to assist the fire department with a car fire. The fire department was able to extinguish the flames and preliminary investigation indicate there was nothing suspicious about the origin of the fire.

FEBRUARY 28, 2020

An officer responded to a business on Commonwealth Ave for an employee fraudulently using a customer's credit card. The business' manager reported to the officer that a customer left behind his credit card after making a purchase. The employee at the register fraudulently used the credit card to purchase over $1000 gift cards. When speaking to the suspect, she reported that she was coerced into making the purchases with the understanding of she would get half the profits. The matter is under investigation.

An officer responded to a residence on Hawthorne Rd for a bat call. The resident reported an injured bat crawled out from under her couch. She was able to capture the bat and it was transported to a facility for rabies testing.

An officer responded to a business on Commonwealth Ave for a shoplifting that just occurred. Staff stated the suspect concealed two FitBit watches while someone he came in with distracted him. The suspect was able to flee prior to police arrival. Upon further investigation the identity of the suspect was learned and he will be summonsed for shoplifting.

FEBRUARY 29, 2020

An officer responded to a residence on Heath St for a larceny report. The victim stated that sometime in December he had movers inside his residence. He believes it was during this time that a watch was stolen.
