Monday, December 27

SHOPLIFTING - Officers responded to Harvard St for a report of shoplifting. An individual was seen taking items and leaving a store without paying. Officers apprehended the individual and determined they will be summonsed to court for shoplifting.

BURGLARY- Officers were called to Village Way for a report of a burglary. The reporting party stated that they returned home to find property missing from their residence. The matter is under investigation.


Tuesday, December 28

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers were called to Clafin Rd for a report of malicious damage. The reporting party stated that they returned to their car and noticed damage done to the side door. The matter is under investigation.

BURGLARY - Officers responded to Tappan St for a report of a burglary. The reporting party stated they found someone rifling through their locked belongings, and when confronted, the individual fled with property. The matter is under investigation.

LARCENY - Officers took a report of a larceny. The reporting party stated they listed an item online for sale and agreed to meet an individual in person for the exchange. The individual paid with fraudulent currency and left with the item. The matter is under investigation.


Wednesday, December 29

ANIMAL VIOLATION - Officers were called to Mason Tr for a report of a dog bite. The reporting party stated a dog had gotten loose and was running toward them and that the dog had previously bitten them. The owner has been given a by law citation.

ASSAULT - Officers responded to Tappan St for a dispute between two parties. They spoke with the individuals involved, who stated one person tried to take an item from the other's hands and made physical contact while doing so. Officers determined that the responsible party will be summonsed to a hearing.

LARCENY - Officers were called to Linden Pl for a report of a larceny from a building. The reporting party stated they left their belongings in a room and returned to find property missing from their bag. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of a past fraud. The reporting party stated they were attempting to adopt an animal online and spoke with an individual, who asked for payments through Venmo and Zelle, as well as payments through gift cards. The matter is under investigation.


Thursday, December 30

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers responded to Washington St for a report of destruction of property. The reporting party stated an individual had grown irate and was swearing at others. They then struck a plexiglass divider, damaging it. The individual will be summonsed to court for destruction of property.


Friday, December 31

FRAUD - Officers took a report of ID fraud. The reporting party stated they received a letter from a bank regarding an application to open an account with them, as well as checks from another bank. They reported the accounts as fraudulent. The matter is under investigation.


Saturday, January 1

GRAFFITI - Officers were called to Clinton Rd for a report of graffiti. The reporting party stated they noticed a wire to a Christmas decoration had been cut. The matter is under investigation.


Sunday, January 2

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Kilsyth Rd for a report of a series of car breaks. The reporting party stated they witnessed unknown individuals near the cars in the parking lot and later discovered multiple cars had been rummaged through. The matter is under investigation.
