AUTO PARTS THEFT - Officers were called to Egmont St for a report, where the reporting party stated they woke up to a loud sound outside and discovered individuals stealing catalytic converters from vehicles on the street.

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers took a report of damage done to a store window on Commonwealth Av.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to Euston St for a report, where the reporting party shared they received confirmation of a delivery, but when they went to collect it, the package was missing.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers were called to Harvard St for a report, where the reporting party shared that a male individual became agitated in the store and left without paying for an item. The matter has been settled.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to Freeman St for a report, where the reporting party shared that they received a package, but when they went to collect it, the contents had been removed from the box.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers took a report of shoplifting that occurred on Harvard St.

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers took a report of keying done to a motor vehicle that was parked on Egmont St.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to Netherlands Rd for a report, where the reporting party shared they received confirmation of a delivery, but when they went to collect it, the package was missing.

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers took a report of damage done to a wall on St Marys Ct.

AUTO PARTS THEFT - Officers were called to Green St for a report, where the reporting party stated they left their vehicle in a residential parking lot and discovered a week later that the catalytic converter had been stolen.

SCAM - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they received a phone call that appeared to be from the bank's fraud line. The suspect claimed to be a bank employee and asked for personal identifying information.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers took a report of shoplifting that occurred on Harvard St.

CHECK FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they discovered fraudulent checks had been cashed from their account.

ID FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party stated an individual tried to make a withdrawal using a false ID.

FRAUD - Officers responded to Harvard St for a report, where the reporting party stated two individuals made a fraudulent cash deposit.

SCAM - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they received a phone call from an individual who claimed to be from Eversource. The suspect stated there were outstanding bills on their account and requested payment in gift cards.


Wednesday, October 26

FORGERY - Officers took a report, where the reporting party discovered forged checks had been cashed from their account.

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to Colchester St for a report, where the reporting party stated they left their vehicle in the driveway unlocked and discovered the next morning that it had been rummaged through and property was missing.

CHECK FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they mailed a check and later discovered it had been altered before being cashed.

ASSAULT - Officers responded to Kent St for a report of an incident between a parking enforcement officer and a male individual. He became agitated after being issued a parking ticket and swung at the officer. The perpetrator was summonsed to court.


Thursday, October 27

SCAM - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they received a call from an individual claiming to be a representative of a utilities company. The suspect requested payment through gift cards or their services would be shut off.

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party received communication about a recent unauthorized purchase. An individual claiming to be a representative of PayPal refunded a higher amount then requested payment in gift cards to resolve the issue.

CHECK FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party was alerted to an attempt to cash fraudulent checks.

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to Monmouth Ct for a report, where the reporting party shared they left their vehicle on the street overnight and discovered the next morning that property was missing.


Friday, October 28

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Harvard St for a report, where the reporting party shared they left their vehicle unlocked on the street and discovered a few days later that property had been stolen.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report, where the reporting party shared that an unknown male individual was rifling through packages and trespassing in a residential building. The suspect was identified and summonsed to court.

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reported party shared they received a call from an individual who claimed to be from the Department of Homeland Security and stated that there was a warrant out for their arrest. The suspect demanded payment in order to resolve the issue.

THEFT - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they discovered property had been removed from their residence on Dwight St.


Saturday, October 29

AUTO PARTS THEFT - Officers were called to Babcock St for a report, where the reporting party stated they left their vehicle in a residential lot and discovered a few weeks later that the catalytic converter had been removed.

BURGLARY - Officers responded to Coolidge St for a report of a breaking and entering of a residence.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared a male individual was trespassing overnight on Brook St. The suspect was identified and summonsed to court.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers took a report of shoplifting that occurred on Harvard St.

DISORDERLY PERSON - Officers were called to Harvard St for a report of a dispute between two parties due to parking violations. One individual was summonsed to court.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to Cypress St for a report, where the reporting party shared they received notification of a delivery, but when they went to collect it, the package was gone.

BIKE THEFT - Officers were called to Harvard St for a report, where the reporting party stated they secured their bike in a garage and discovered a week later that it was gone.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - Officers took a report of a suspicious male individual. The suspect was seen attempting to open a front door and ran away when confronted.


Sunday, October 30

THEFT - Officers responded to Russett Rd for a report, where the reporting party shared they discovered property was missing from a site under construction.

ROBBERY - Officers were called to TJ Maxx on Harvard St for a robbery that had jut occurred and possible hazmat situation. The investigation revealed that a female fled the store with stolen items. As she was attempting to exit the store, she was observed by an employee to have a cannister in her hand. She sprayed the entry way behind her with what is believed to be pepper spray. The suspect fled with a male suspect in a medium sized black pickup truck Southbound on Harvard St toward Coolidge Corner. Several customers and staff members complained of having respiratory issues from the pepper spray being released in the store. EMS was activated and multiple people were treated on scene. Two people were transported to an area hospital in an abundance of caution. There is no further information at this time.
