10/14/2020

 10/13/2020- Officers took 14 reports of Unemployment Fraud from residents.

10/13/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of Conant Rd. The resident reported to officers that their bike on the side of the house, when they went to take the trash out they noticed the bike had been stolen.

10/13/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a resident of Francis St.  The resident reported that they received a notification of a package being delivered.  When they went to retrieve the package, it was removed from their porch.

10/13/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a resident of Kent St.  The resident reported to officers that they had received a notification of a package being delivered.  When they went to retrieve the package, it was gone.

10/13/2020- Officers took graffiti report on Longwood Ave.  Officers were called to the Longwood Bridge over the muddy river to an area where someone had spray painted the bridge.

10/13/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of Pleasant St.  The resident reported to officers that their bike had been stored in the boiler room of their building since 10/07. When they went to retrieve it the bike was gone.

10/13/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of Carlton St.  The resident reported they had two bikes along the side of the house locked to a bike rack.  When they went to retrieve them they found that the front tires were still locked to the rack, but the frames and the rear tires were stolen.

10/13/2020

 10/12/2020- Officers responded to the US Post Office on Beacon St. to take a report for malicious damage.  The employees reported to the officers that sometime overnight 11 UPSP postal delivery trucks had been damaged with spray paint. 

10/12/2020- Officer took a stolen bike report form a resident of South St.  The resident stated that they had a bike stolen from their front porch.

10/20/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Marion St. The resident reported that received information from their employers alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/12/2020- Officers took a report from a resident of Greenough Cir. Regarding a break and enter of a vehicle.  The resident reported to officers that sometime overnight on 10/10 their car was entered and multiple items were taken.

10/12/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of Beacon St.  The resident reported that their bike was left in the garage of their building.  When they went to retrieve it they found the bike was gone.

10/12/20200- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Linden St. The resident reported that received information from their employers alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/12/2020

 10/09/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Fuller St. The resident reported that received information from their employers Human Resource division alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/09/2020- Officers took a report for a break and enter of a motor vehicle from Naples Rd.   The resident reported to the officers that they had two vehicles parked in their garage.  When they went to their vehicles in the morning they observed that both cars had been rummaged through and multiple items taken.

10/09/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Auburn Ct. The resident reported that received a letter from the Department of Unemployment alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/09/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Claflin Rd. The resident reported that their information had been used multiple times to file for unemployment assistance as well as a small business loan. 

10/09/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Claflin Rd. The resident reported that received a letter from the Department of Unemployment alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/09/2020- Officers took a report for a package theft from a resident of Englwood Ave.  The resident reported to officers that they were awaiting a package that the USPS stated was delivered, however the resident never received the package.

10/09/20-Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Longwood Ave. The resident reported that received information from their employers Human Resource division alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/09/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a resident of Dummer St.  The resident reported to offices that FedEx had notified them of a delivery, when they when to retrieve the package they found it had been stolen.

10/10/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident of Clinton Rd.  The resident reported to the officers that they had received a call from a party claiming to be from Apple Security regarding a breach.  The resident stated the caller wanted bank account information to confirm that their bank accounts were also not compromised. 

10/10/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Summit Ave. The resident reported that received information from their employers Human Resource division alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/10/2020- Officers took a larceny report from a resident of Boylston St. The resident reported that they had been away from their house during the COVID lock down since March 8. When they returned in September, they noticed some items missing from their house.

10/10/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of Beals St.  The resident reported that they had their bike parked in their garage, when they went out in the morning the bike was gone.

10/10/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of Browne St.  The resident reported to officers that they kept their bike locked in the basement of their building. When they went down to retrieve their bike they observed the lock had been cut and the bike was gone.

10/10/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of Marshal St.  The resident reported to officers that they kept their bike in the hallway of their building.  When they went to retrieve the bike they found it was gone.

10/10/2020- Officers responded to the Brookline Booksmith on Harvard St. for a reported shoplifting.  Employees informed officers that they observed a party who was not adhering to the store’s policy regarding facemasks.  An employee reported to observing the subject placing items into a back pack, and attempting to leave the store.  When the employees confronted the subject refused to stop and left the store.

10/11/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of Osborne Rd.  The resident reported to officers that their child’s bike had been taken from their front porch some times since October 9th.

10/11/2020- Offices took a stolen bike report from a resident of Beacon St.  The resident reported to the officers that they had their bike locked to the bike rack along the side of their building. When they went to retrieve it, they found that the bike was gone.

10/ 11/2020- Officer took a license plate theft from a resident of Egmont St.  The resident reported to officers that they noticed their front plate was missing from the front of their vehicle.

10/11/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of University Rd. The resident reported that received information from their employers Human Resource division alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/12/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report out of Browne St.  The resident reported that they kept their bike behind their building and when they went to retrieve it, the bike was gone.
