January 26th- 28th

Arrests:
Occurred between 1:30 PM (1/26) and 1:40 PM (1/26) – South Street

Officers responded to a report for Indecent Assault and Battery at a local medical facility. Upon investigation the victim stated that she had been sexually assaulted by a fellow patient. The suspect was subsequently arrested and charged with indecent assault and battery.

Occurred between 5:22 PM (1/26) and 6:00 PM (1/26) – High Street / Acron Road

Officers conducted a traffic stop for failure to stop at a stop sign. Upon investigation officers learned that the operators' driver’s license was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license 4th subsequent offense.

Occurred at 7:43 PM (1/27) – Boylston Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for speeding. Upon investigation officers learned that the operator right to operate a motor vehicle in Mass was suspended. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest for Operating a motor vehicle after suspension.
Robbery:

Occurred at 1:42 PM (1/26) – Harvard Street

Officers responded to a report of Robbery at a local bank. Upon investigation, officers learned that the suspect had given a written note to the teller. The teller complied with his demands and then informed police officers. Officers conducted an intense search of the area, however was unable to find the suspect. The incident is under investigation.

Operating after suspension:

Occurred at 11:30 AM (1/26) – Washington Street

While conducting an investigation involving a cab driver, police learned that his driver’s license was suspended. The driver was issued a citation and will be summons to Brookline District Court for Operating after suspension and violation of the Brookline Hackney Rules and Regulations.

Motor Vehicle Theft:

Occurred between 12:15 AM (1/26) and 5:10 PM (1/26) – Commonwealth Avenue

Officer responded to a call of motor vehicle theft. Upon investigation officers learned that two motor vehicles from a local auto shop had been stolen during the night. One of the two vehicles has been recovered in Cambridge, MA and a subject had been arrested in that jurisdiction.

Assault:
Occurred between 4:40 PM (1/27) and 4:45 PM (1/27) – Garrison Road

Officers responded to a report of assault and battery. Upon investigation the victims stated that a man had assaulted two neighborhood boys after the boys accidently knocked snow onto the sidewalk. The subject was not located at the time of the initial repoonse, however officers are conducting a follow up investigation.

Arrests:

Occurred between 8:24 AM (1/25) and 8:55 AM (1/25) – Clinton Road

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a prohibited left turn. Upon investigation officers learned that the operators drivers license was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest and charged with Operating after suspension.

Occurred between 7:42 PM (1/25) and 8:45 PM (1/25) – Boylston Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for failure to stop for a red light. Upon investigation officer learned that the drivers license was suspended. The driver was subsequently arrested for failure to stop at a red light, operating a motor vehicle after suspension, and operating a motor vehicle without a registration in possession.

Occurred at 10:22 PM (1/25) – Harvard Street/ Marion Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for an inspection sticker violation. Upon investigation officers learned that the drivers license was suspended. The driver was placed under arrests and charged with no inspection sticker, operating after suspension, and 3rd subsequent offense.

Operating after suspension:

Occurred at 7:37 PM (1/25) – Beacon Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a suspended registration. The driver will be summonsed to court for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.

Motor Vehicle Theft:

Occurred between 7:56 PM (1/24) and 7:56 PM (1/25) – Babcock Street

Officers responded to a report of theft of a motor vehicle. Upon investigation the victim stated that she had allowed a friend to borrow a car but made it clear that there was a specific time she needed it back. The vehicle was never returned and a report for a stolen vehicle has been entered.

Breaking and Entering:

Occurred between 7:30 PM (1/25) and 10:00 PM (1/25) – Greenough Street

Officers responded to a report of past breaking and entering. Upon investigation officers learned that a door of the local school had been smashed in. Police believe the damage was caused with an attempt to enter the building. Police are following up on the case.

Threats:

Occurred at 8:23 AM (1/25) – Beacon Street

Officers responded to a report of threats by e-mail. Upon investigation the victim stated that she had received threatening emails due to a past online transaction. Police are following up on the case.

Possession:

Occurred at 2:10 AM (1/26) – Brookline Avenue/ Riverway

Officers conducted a traffic stop for defective break lights and a defective headlight. Upon investigation officers learned that the driver of the vehicle was in possession of Marijuana. The driver was issued a civil violation for possession of less than one ounce of Marijuana, along with a citation for defective equipment.

Arrests:

Occurred at 2:43 PM (1/24) – Walnut Street

Officers responded to a report of a violation of a Harassment Prevention Order. Upon investigation officers learned that the suspect had indeed violated the Harassment Prevention Order and was subsequently placed under arrest.

Occurred at 5:17 PM (1/24) – Chestnut Hill Avenue

Officers made a traffic stop for failure to stay in lane. Upon investigation officers learned that the driver was driving with a suspended license and the vehicles inspection sticker was expired. The driver was then placed under arrests and charged with operating after suspension, failure to stay in lane, and expired inspection sticker.

Operating without a proper license:

Occurred between 6:20 PM (1/24) and 6:30 PM (1/24) – Cypress Street/ Brighton Road

Officers made a traffic stop for a marked line violation. Upon investigation officers learned that the driver was operating with out a proper license. The driver was issued a citation for marked line violation, and police are requesting he be summoned into Brookline District Court for operating a motor vehicle a non duly license.

Violation of a court order:

Occurred at 8:58 PM (1/24) – Egmont Street

Upon investigation of a past report for a violation of a restraining order, officers learned that the suspect had indeed violated an active restraining order. Police are requesting the suspect be summonsed into Brookline District Court for violation of a restraining order.

Robbery:
Occurred at 10:18 PM (1/24) – Boylston Street/ Washington Street

Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery. Upon investigation officers learned that the suspect had robbed a local gas station and fled the scene. After an intensive search responding units could not locate the suspect. A report was filed, and the incident is under further investigation.

Arrests:

Occurred at 11:18 AM (1/19) – Harvard Street

Officers responded to a shoplifting report. After identifying the suspect, officers learned that the individual had stolen multiple items from a local pharmacy. The suspect was arrested for Shoplifting and an active default arrest warrant.

Occurred between 3:20 PM (1/19) and 4:20 PM (1/19) – Cypress Street/ Washington Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a driver that failed to stop at a red light. Upon investigation, officers learned that the driver of the vehicle was operating a motor vehicle with out a proper MA license. The driver was arrested for Operating without a license and a red light violation.

Occurred at 1:44 AM (1/20) – Boylston Street/ Chestnut Hill Avenue

Officers conducted a traffic stop for speeding. Upon investigation, officers learned that the driver of the vehicle was driving with a suspended license. The driver was arrested for operating after suspension.

Occurred at 9:34 AM (1/20) – Harvard Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for an expired inspection sticker. Upon investigation, officers learned that the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was placed under arrests for operating after suspension.

Occurred at 11:37 AM (1/21) – Webster Street

Officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon investigation officers learned that one of the drivers involved in the accident was operating with a suspended license. The driver was arrested for operating with a suspended license.

Occurred at 1:10 AM (1/22) – Harvard Street

Officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon investigation the officers suspected one of the drivers was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. The driver was arrested for Operating under the Influence of Liquor.

Occurred between 12:43 AM (1/23) and 1:00 AM (1/23) – Boylston Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for speeding. Upon investigation officers suspected that the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating under the influence of Liquor.

Occurred at 4:54 AM (1/23) – Beacon Street / Charles Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a suspended registration. Upon investigation officers learned that the driver was operating with a revoked license. While being placed under arrest, the driver admitted to possessing a small amount of a controlled substance. The driver was then arrested for operating with a suspended registration and revoked license, and possession of a class B substance.

Occurred at 5:21 PM (1/23) – Boylston Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for speeding. While the officer was in his cruiser writing a citation, a man approached the vehicle stating that he was a victim of a taxi cab fare evasion. The officer then approached the subject that was suspected of the taxi fare evasion, who subsequently became very loud and disorderly. The suspect was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct and cab fare evasion.

Occurred at 9:37 PM (1/23) – Harvard Street/ Beacon Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for an illegal U- turn. Upon investigation officers learned that the driver was operating with a suspended license. The driver was placed under arrest for operating after suspension. Officers later discovered that the driver was in possession of a class B substance, and was also charged with possession of a class B substance.

Occurred at 2:06 AM (1/21) – Beacon Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a broken headlight. Upon investigation officers learned that the driver’s license was suspended and that the driver had an active warrant out for his arrest. The driver was then arrested for Defective equipment, Operating after suspension, and a default warrant.

Breaking and Entering and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle

Occurred between 7:00PM (1/18) and 8:00 AM (1/19) – Clark Road

Officers responded to a Breaking and Entering of a motor vehicle. Upon investigation, the victim stated that multiple items from the vehicle had been stolen. A follow up investigation will be conducted. There were also other calls in the surrounding area around the same time period for Breaking and Entering of motor vehicles.

Larceny

Occurred at 4:12 AM (1/21) – Francis Street

Officers responded to a report of a cab fare evasion. Upon investigation, officers learned that the two suspects had refused to pay the appropriate fare amount. Police requested that the two suspects be summons in Brookline District Court for Larceny.
