MARCH 5, 2020

An officer took a report for a past shoplifting at a business on Harvard St. On March 4 at 1800 hrs, the suspect came in and concealed multiple articles of clothing in a tote bag and fled.

Officers responded to a shoplifting at a business on Commonwealth Av. The suspect concealed electronics in his backpack and jacket. The suspect was stopped and subsequently arrested for shoplifting.

MARCH 6, 2020

Officers responded to a multi-unit residence on Beacon St to assist the fire department with a working fire. The fire was extinguished and the preliminary investigation indicates the fire was accidental.

MARCH 7, 2020

An officer took a report for a car break that occurred at a residence on Amory St. An unlocked vehicle was entered sometime overnight and change was stolen.

An officer took a report for a past larceny from a business on Commonwealth Av. A locked locker was entered while the victim was in the gym and cash was stolen.

Officers responded to a restaurant on Harvard St for individuals who didn't pay for their meals. Multiple suspects ordered food, and left the restaurant with it without paying. The suspects were stopped a short distance away and summonsed for defrauding an innkeeper.

Officers responded to a business on Commonwealth Av for a shoplifting that just occurred. The suspect walked out the store with a laptop computer without paying. The suspect was stopped a short distance away and subsequently arrested for shoplifting.

MARCH 8, 2020

An officer took a report for a package theft from a residence on Sewall Av. The package was stolen from an unlocked foyer sometime over a span of days.

MARCH 9, 2020

An officer responded to a business on Beacon St for a burglary that occurred overnight. It was determined that entry was most likely made through a rear door that does not secure properly. Cash was stolen from the register area.

The Animal Control Officer responded to Amory Park for a dog complaint. An individual claimed another dog was too aggressive with her dog by pouncing on top of her dog and pinning it down. After further investigation it was determined that the dogs do not get along and is an isolated incident.

MARCH 10, 2020

An officer took a report for a package theft from a residence on Alton Pl. The package was stolen from an unlocked foyer sometime in the afternoon of March 9.

An officer took a report for a bike theft from a residence on Russell St. The bike was stolen from the storage area under the front porch sometime during the day.

Officers responded to the area of White Pl for a male urinating in public. Multiple officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

MARCH 11, 2020

Officers responded to a residence on Lawton St to assist the fire department with a working fire. The fire was extinguished by the fire department. The preliminary investigation indicates the fire was accidental from a battery that shorted.
