December 13th Police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred between 10:50AM and 11:14AM (12/13)- 302 Harvard Street

Tracy Pinto, 23 yrs, was arrested and charged with Shoplifting.

Police responded to a report of shoplifters at The Children’s Place where an employee gave descriptions of the suspects as well as their vehicle, officers were able to stop a vehicle whose occupants appearance and clothing matched that of the shoplifters, the store employee confirmed that this was the vehicle she had seen leaving and police subsequently arrested one of the women. The other women will be summonsed to court.

  • Occurred at 12:30AM (12/13)- 302 Harvard Street

Michelle Jones, 38 yrs, was arrested and charged with Shoplifting.

Police responded to The Children’s Place where an employee had witnessed a suspect put several items of clothing into her bag in an attempt to conceal them. Officers spoke with the suspect and she was subsequently arrested.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 12:05AM and 7AM (12/13) - 26 Holly Lane

Victim reported that sometime overnight her vehicles rear window was smashed and $100 in coin as well as a radar detector valued at $400 was stolen.

  • Occurred between 12:05AM and 7AM (12/13) - 26 Holly Lane

Victim reported that sometime overnight her vehicle was bro0klen into and $10 cash, as well as a ladies watch valued at 100 was stolen.

  • Occurred between 12:05AM and 7AM (12/13) - 26 Holly Lane

Victim reported that his vehicles front passenger window was smashed however no items are reported missing at this time.

  • Occurred between 8:30PM (12/13) - 320 Hammond Pond Parkway

Victim reported that his car was broken into sometime overnight and his GPS navigation system valued at $500 was stolen.

Summons

  • Occurred between 3:10PM and 4PM (12/13)- 44 Washington Street

Police responded to a report of a fight and upon arrival discovered two motorists arguing over a car accident. Both parties reportedly assaulted each other and therefore both drivers will be summonsed to court for Mutual Assault and Battery.

December 12th Police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred between 5:05PM and 9:35PM (12/12)- 350 Washington Street

Samuel Prado was arrested and charged with Assault with Intent to Rape, Indecent Assault and Battery, Unarmed Robbery, Malicious Damage, and Intimidation of a Witness.

Police received reports that a man fitting the description of an assault suspect was last seen at Logan Airport. Detectives went to the airport and were met by a man whose name and description matched that of a suspect who had recently committed an indecent assault, detectives interviewed the man and the result of the interview led to an arrest for the above charges.

  • Occurred between 4:30AM and 5AM (12/12)- Oakland Road Extension

Derrick Watson, 31 yrs, was arrested and charged with three counts of Break Entering and Larceny of a motor vehicle, and one count of Larceny.

Police responded to reports of a suspicious man inspecting the interior of various vehicles, when police arrived and spoke to a witness it was determined that the suspect had entered several vehicles and stolen an unknown amount of money from at leased two of them, he was subsequently arrested.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 4:30PM (12/07) and 9:30PM (12/12) - 19 Verndale Street

Victim reported that several items including a sweater, belt, and purse were missing from her apartment sometime in the beginning of the month. The victim then reported that after returning home form work she noticed a necklace and a pair of sunglasses were missing. The collective value of all these items is approximately $750 and this case is still under investigation.

  • Occurred between 12:01AM and 3:30AM (12/09) - 12 Verndale Street

Victim reported that after hosting a party at her apartment she noticed a duffle bag containing approximately $600 worth of makeup was missing, she thoroughly searched the apartment but when she was unable to find the bag she contacted police.

  • Occurred between 11:57AM (11/26) and 11:57AM (11/29) -30 Clinton Road

Victim reported that several items of jewelry were missing from her home after a pest control employee was in her residence, detectives are currently investigating the employee however residents are advised to be cognizant of any company or employee working inside your residence and be sure to keep your valuables secure; if you are unfamiliar with a worker it is strongly recommended that you attempt to be home while the work is being done.

Attempted Burglary

  • Occurred at 10:18PM (12/12)-29 Goddard Cr

Victim reported hearing strange noises coming from one of his bedroom windows when the man went to investigate he discovered someone trying to open the outside storm window, when the suspect saw the victim he fled the area, a subsequent search yeilded negative results. The suspect is described as a 5’8” stocky black male last seen wearing a dark winter coat, and a dirty orange pullover.

December 12th Police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred at 6:48PM (12/11)- Beals Street/ Harvard Street

A juvenile suspect was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, and two counts of Carrying a Dangerous Weapon.

Police responded to reports of a male trying to flag down passing motorists. Upon arrival police located the man and determined that he was in possession of Nunchaku, a large knife and to an empty bottle of wine, the suspect was subsequently arrested.

  • Occurred at 8:21PM (12/11)- 525 Harvard Street

Susanna Rivera, 32 yrs, was arrested and charged with Shoplifting.

An employee at TJ Maxx reported witnessing a suspect taking the security tags off of several items of clothing. The employee detained the suspect until police arrived to arrest her.

Motor Vehicle Theft

  • Occurred between 1AM and 8:05AM (12/11)- 156 Lawton Street

Victim reports that sometime overnight a company van was stolen from the rear of the building. The van is a 1996 gray dodge valued at $10,000.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 2:30PM (12/10) and 1:50Am (12/11)- 1621 Beacon Street

Victim reported that she left her handbag unattended and was missing when she returned to retrieve it. The handbag is valued at $900 and contained approximately $220 cash and other various personal papers.

  • Occurred between 4PM and 5:45PM (12/11)

Victim reported that sometime during the wrestling meet at the Tappan St Gym his wallet, cell phone, and keys had been stolen from his locker. The wallet contained approximately $30 cash as well as several bank cards and a license.

  • Occurred between 6:55PM and 7:05PM (12/11)- 302 Harvard Street

An employee at The Children’s Place reported that a man ran out of the store triggering the sensor alarm. The employee stated that she observed the man enter the store earlier with an empty plastic bag which appeared to be full as he was fleeing the premises. An undetermined amount of clothing was taken. The man is described as a 30 year old black male approximately 5’4” last seen wearing a black leather jacket and a black knit cap.

Graffiti

  • Occurred at 10:49AM (12/11)- 155 Longwood Avenue

Victim reported that someone had painted two graffiti tags on a wall with red spray paint; the cost of this damage is unknown.

Attempted Burglary

  • Occurred between 8AM and 5:45PM (12/11)-645 Hammond Street

Victim reported seeing pry marks on the front door of his condominium. It appears someone had attempted to enter the residence, however no items were reported missing and it appears the suspect never gained entry.

Indecent Assault and Battery

  • Occurred at 12:52AM (12/12)

Victim reported that while riding on the MBTA Green Line she was approached by a man who tried to converse with her. This individual introduced himself as Sammy Prada and indicated he worked at the Wyndham Hotel. The victim ignored the man, but noticed him following her after she got off the trolley at the Brookline Hills MBTA stop. The victim continued to walk a distance until she turned and came face to face with the suspect, who grabbed her and pulled her towards a driveway. The man then indecently assaulted the victim, but after a brief struggle the victim was able to escape.

The suspect is described as a clean shaven Hispanic male in his 20’s, approximately 5’3” tall, medium build, very short black hair, last seen wearing a hooded navy sweatshirt and black boots. The victim also described the suspect as having a Boston accent.

December 10th Police Reports

Arrests

  • Occurred at 8:56AM (12/10)

Timothy O’Connell, 25 yrs, was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault and Battery and Resisting Arrest.

Police responded to calls of an assault and upon arrival met with several witnesses whose statements eventually led to the suspect’s arrest. While trying to handcuff the suspect he became physically resistant towards the officers and he will be additionally charged, during this time the suspect was informed to not return to the place of arrest.

  • Occurred at 5:28PM (12/10)

Timothy O’Connell, 25 yrs, was arrested and charged with Threats, Resisting Arrest, Burglary, and Malicious Damage.

Police responded to reports of an unauthorized suspect in the building and upon seeing officers the suspect fled, but was apprehended a short time later after he began physically resisting and struggling with officers. Further investigation revealed that O’Connell attempted to break down an apartment door by kicking it and when that failed he returned with a large metal object, it was additionally evident that he tampered with one of the windows in an attempt to gain entry.

Summons

  • Occurred at 6:51PM (12/10)- 200 Ivy Street

Police responded to Ivy Street School where a staff member reported being chased by a student wielding a chair, the student fled the school building but was apprehended by officers a short distance away and informed that he would be summoned to court for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 10AM (12/08) and 1:18PM (12/10)- 10 Brookline Place

Victim reported that her license plate had been recently stolen; the value of the plate is unknown.

  • Occurred between 12PM (12/08) and 6PM (12/09)- 99 Harvard Street

Victim reported that his vehicles driver’s side window had been smashed and his GPS navigation system, valued at $1000 was stolen.

  • Occurred between 8AM (12/05) and 1:09PM (12/10)- 1 Harvard Street

Victim reported that after leaving his bag unattended for a short period of time he noticed that his checkbook had been stolen, and when verifying with his bank he learned that several checks had been fraudulently cashed using his account, totaling a collective loss of $6210.

Fraud

  • Occurred between 6:37PM (10/01) and 6:37PM (10/31) - 19 Winchester Street

Victim noticed that her card had been fraudulently used to withdrawal $3000 from an ATM in New York, the victim had since cancelled the card.

December 9th Police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred at 12:06AM (12/09) - Lenox Street/ Prescott Street

Richard Cohen, 54 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating after Suspension and other various traffic offenses.

Police on patrol stopped a taxi after they witnessed it traveling the wrong way down a one way street, it was additionally discovered that the vehicles driver also had a suspended license, he was subsequently arrested.

Summons

  • Occurred between 2:04Am and 2:44AM (12/09) – 4 Davis Avenue

Police responded to complaints of a loud party and upon arrival saw over 50 partygoers crowding the apartment they informed the residents that they would have to shut down the party and turn down the music, however approximately 2 hours later police were called again to the same location and police informed the residents they would be summonsed to court fro Disturbing the Peace.

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred between 1AM and 1:30AM (12/09) - Babcock Street

The victim reported that sometime during the night a beer bottle had been thrown through her bedroom window shattering it.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 4:30PM and 5:15PM (12/06) - 441 Washington Street

Victim reported that while at the Village Fair Restaurant their dog had been stolen, the dog was last seen by witnesses in the possession of four teenage Hispanic males, the dog is described as a 3 year old female pit-bull mix black with white markings.

December 8th Police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred between 4:27AM and 4:48AM (12/08) - Heath Street/ Lowell Lane

Phillip West, 19 yrs, was arrested and charged with Failure to Stop for Police, Speeding, Defective Equipment, and Failure to stop for a Red Light.

Police on patrol witnessed a vehicle go through a red light and when the officers tried to pull the vehicle over it became apparent that the vehicle was not going to stop however police were able to catch up with the vehicle when it went down a dead end road the operator of the vehicle was immediately arrested.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 2:16Am and 2:30AM (1651 Beacon Street

Victim reported that his coat had been stolen sometime while he was at Golden Temple Restaurant, his coat valued at $ 100, contained a set of keys and a cell phone.

  • Occurred between 5PM (12/07) and 7:31Am (12/08) – 1160 Beacon Street

Victim reported that a metal goose and a tree were taken from her front yard sometime overnight. The items have a collective value of approximately $150.

  • Occurred between 6PM and 6:20PM (12/08) – 189 Winchester Street

Victim reported that sometime over a 20 minute period an unknown suspect had gained entry into her unlocked vehicle and her shoulder bag had been stolen. The bag contained $120 cash and several credit cards.

Summons

  • Occurred at 9:04AM (12/08) - 115 Greenough Street

A student at Brookline High School will be summonsed to court for Possession of a Class D Substance (Marijuana) after a school official found a baggie containing Marijuana residue in the students possession.

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred at 12AM (12/08)- Beacon Street

Victim reported that her vehicles back window had been smashed sometime during the day; the cost of this damage is unknown.

Fraud

  • Occurred between 10AM and 8:30PM (12/08) - University Road

Victim reported that someone had made fraudulent purchases using her card. The purchases totaled to over $1000 in loss.

December 7th police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred at 3:26AM (12/07) - Huntington/South Huntington

Peter Reynolds, 30 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating after License Suspension, and Operating a Motor Vehicle without headlights at night.

Police on patrol witnessed a vehicle traveling without its headlights on and after stopping the vehicle it was learned the drivers right to operate had been suspended, he was subsequently arrested.

  • Occurred at 11:37AM (12/07)- 93 Winchester Street

Wilson Souza, 35 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating after License Suspension, and other various traffic offenses.

Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for driving on the sidewalk, it was then discovered that the drivers right to operate had expired, he was subsequently arrested.

Summons

  • Occurred at 1AM (12/07) - 230 Harvard Street

Police on patrol witnessed a vehicle make an illegal left turn and upon stopping the vehicle it was discovered that its front headlight was out and that its driver had a suspended license and registration he will be summonsed to court for Operating after Suspension, Operating after License Suspension, and other various traffic offenses.

  • Occurred at 8:53AM (12/07) - 308 Boylston Street

Police on patrol witnessed a vehicle make an illegal U-Turn and upon stopping the vehicle it was discovered that the drivers right to operate had been expired and that the vehicles registration was actually not for that vehicle, the driver was informed that he would be summonsed to court for Operating with an Expired License, and other various traffic and motor vehicle offenses.

Larceny

  • Occurred at 6:25PM (12/07) - 302 Harvard Street

Police responded to the children’s Place for reports of a shoplifter, upon arrival it was discovered that one of the employees witnessed a suspect put multiple items of clothing into her bag and leave the store with another female suspect. The two suspects are described as black females both approximately 5’05”-5’06” in height and 170-185lbs both appearing to also be in their late 20’s.

  • Occurred between 5:30PM and 6:57Pm (12/07) - Harvard Street /School Street

Victim reported that sometime during dinner their vehicles drivers’ side window was smashed and a GPS navigation system valued at $400 was taken.

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred between 6:54PM and 7:25PM (12/07) - Monmouth Street

Victim reported that approximately 2 weeks prior his car had been keyed the cost of this damage is unknown.

  • Occurred at 10:44PM (12/07) - Babcock Street

Police responded to reports of several male suspects throwing objects and yelling at one of the apartments causing damage to the window pane, upon arrival the suspects had fled the area and a subsequent search yielded negative results.

Attempted Burglary

  • Occurred at 11:41PM (12/07) – 60 Babcock Street

A woman reported that while parking her car in the garage she noticed a middle aged white male suspect with a gray white beard trying to remove the screen from one of the windows. When the woman confronted the suspect he fled the area.
