Crime Reports 12/20



Sector 2
Operating after Suspension- 12/21/12 at 7:30pm – St. Paul St
Vehicle was observed travelling with an expired registration sticker. A query check revealed the operator had a suspended license. Operator was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Sector 3
Burglary- 12/20/12 at 4:10pm – Verndale St
Victim returned home to find damage to the front door of their apartment. Missing from the apartment were several laptops and a camera.

Sector 4
Operating after Revocation- 12/21/12 at 1230 am
Officer observed a vehicle stopped at a red light without any headlights on. A license check revealed that the registered owner had a suspended license. The operator was placed under arrest for operating after revocation, and issued a town by law citation for possession of marijuana.

Sector 4
Larceny- 12/20/12 at 6:40pm – Davis Ave
Victims reported that two bikes had been stolen from a carriage house used as a storage area in the rear of their house.

Burglary- 12/20/12 at 5:00 pm – Beals St
Victim returned home to find that her door had been forcibly opened and the lock was broken off. Items were missing from all rooms of the apartment. Neighbors reported hearing banging noises earlier in the day but had believed it to be contractors on the roof.

Larceny- 12/20/12- Kilsyth Rd
Victim reported that a Powermate Generator had been stolen from the backyard of their house.

Sector 9
Larceny- 12/20/12 at Bellingham Rd
Victim reported that several items had been stolen off their front doorsteps. The boxes of these items had been located by police.

Sector 9
Larceny- 12/20/12 at 7:30pmRussett Rd
Victim reported that a package had been taken from the front of their house.

Police Reports 12/19

Burglary: 12/19 at 8:00am – Pleasant St
Officers responded to a report for a past Breaking and Entering. Officer observed that there were significant damages made to the door, and the lock had been broken off. Victim reported that the bedroom had been rummaged through and several jewelries were found missing.

Burglary: 12/19 at 12:30pm – James St
Tenant reported that he retuned home to find that the front door to his apartment was pryed open and items were found stolen.

Burglary: 12/19 at 8:15am – Beacon St
Resident stated that the front door had been forced open with a pry tool and found jewelry and cash missing.

Revoked Registration: 12/19 at 10:11pm – Beacon St/Harvard St
Officer observed a vehicle traveling with an invalid inspection sticker. A query of the vehicle revealed that the operator revoked registration status. Operator will be charged with Revoked Insurance, Revoked Registration, and Unregistered MV.

Larceny: 12/10 at 11:41am – Beacon St
Victim reported that someone was cashing counterfeit checks on his business account.

Malicious Damage: 12/18 at 7:00am – Chestnut Hill Ave
Resident reported that he noticed a hole in the glass window of his front foyer. He believes that the hole was made by a BB air rifle. Resident stated that earlier this year between March and April, his solarium window was shot out by an air rifle.

Police Reports 12/18

Revoked Registration: 12/19 at 12:22am – High St
A random query check revealed that a vehicle was traveling with a revoked registration status. The operator of the vehicle will be charged with Operating after Revocation and Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

B&E of MV: 12/18 at 9:25pm – Stetson St
Victim reported that someone smashed the driver's side window of his vehicle and stated that the GPS system was missing. The glove box and center counsel were left untouched and the door was left locked.

B&E&L of MV: 12/18 at 9:25pm – Stetson St
Victim reported that the passenger side window was smashed and the glove box had been rummaged through and items were found missing.

B&E&L of MV: 12/18 at 11:13pm – Browne St
Victim reported that his vehicle’s passenger side window had been smashed and his GPS was found stolen from the center console.

Larceny: 12/8 between 7:00am & 5:00pm – St Paul St
Tenant reported that her package was stolen from the front foyer of her apartment building.

Suspicious Activity: 12/18 at 10:33pm – Beacon St
Officer responded to a report of a past suspicious activity in the bank. Caller reported that she was informed by the IT Division of the bank that a USB key had been placed into her computer and a virus had been downloaded.

Fraud: 12/9 – Kenwood St
Victim reported that multiple unauthorized online transactions were made to her account.

B&E&L of MV: 12/18 at 10:00pm – Welland Rd
Victim reported that the passenger side window was smashed, the middle console was rummaged, and a Valentine radar detector was removed from the dashboard.

Police Reports 12/17

Larceny: Between 3/1/2012 & 12/13 – Commonwealth Ave
Caller reported that she believed that an ex-employee had been stealing money and checks from the institute. Caller stated that six unauthorized transactions were made to her personal credit card. Detectives will follow-up on the case.

Warrant/Default: 12/17 at 12:37pm – South St
Officers arrested a subject for a Default Warrant.

Operating After Revocation: 12/17 at 5:17pm – Sumner Rd
Officer observed a vehicle filing to stop for the stop sign at the intersection of Greenough and Tappan St. A vehicle’s registration check revealed that the operator had a revoked license status and a straight warrant. Operator was placed under arrest and charged with operating after revocation and the warrant.

Police Reports 12/13 -12/17

Warrant/Default: 12/14 at 9:13pm – Freeman St

A vehicle registration check revealed that the registered owner of a vehicle had 2 active warrants for his arrest. Owner was placed under arrest and charged for Defective Equipment (headlight) and Fugitive from Justice.

Larceny: 12/13 at 4:00pm – Beacon St
Victim reported that her coat was stolen from the coat hanger of a doctor’s office waiting room.

Larceny: 12/14 at 4:08pm – Harvard St
Victim reported that her cell phone was stolen from a store counter.

Malicious Damage: 12/14 at 10:00pm – Harvard St
Manager reported scratches on the front window of his store. The damage is consistent with and individual using a coin to etch a design into the window.

ID Fraud: 12/9 at 8:00am – Stanton Rd
Victim reported that fraudulent transactions were made to his account in Saudi Arabia.

Suspicious Activity: 12/15 at 12:01am – University Rd
Victim reported that someone had entered her apartment, entered the bathroom, and vomited all over the toilet and bathroom floor. The property owner was contacted and the locks were changed.

Disorderly Person: 12/15 at 3:11am – Harvard St
A vehicle’s registration check revealed that a vehicle had a suspended registration status and had an expired inspection sticker. The passenger/registered owner began to act belligerent, shouted obscenities at the officers, and appeared intoxicated due to his slowed interaction, slurred speech, bloodshot and glossy eyes. Passenger was placed under arrest and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Expired Inspection Sticker, Operating After Suspension (Registration), and No Registration in Possession.

Not Duly Licensed: 12/17 at 1:51am – Boylston St
Officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. A vehicle’s registration check revealed that the operator of the vehicle had an expired license statutes. Operator will be charged for speeding and not duly licensed.
