SHOPLIFTING - Officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Beacon St. at around 8:30 AM where there was a description given about the suspect. Officers observed a male matching the description and found that they were familiar with the subject. Upon speaking with the store manager, it was shared that the subject walked into the store, place several items inside their shopping bags and left the store without paying for the items. The subject was being uncooperative during interaction with police officers and was placed under arrest.

BICYCLE THEFT - Officers responded to St. Paul St. for a bike theft report. The victim shared that their tandem bike had been stolen from a shared garage at the residence. They also shared that there are other tenants with access to the building and there is no public access to the garage. There are no security cameras in the building.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to Beacon St. for a package theft report where the victim shared that they received a notification that their package was delivered. The victim arrived home to see that their packages were opened and items were missing. Officers are currently trying to obtain surveillance footage from the building's property manager.

LARCENY - Officers received a call for a past larceny report on Clark Rd. where the reporting party shared that several items of jewelry has gone missing in the past few months. The party shared that they suspect it to be someone with access to their home, either a cleaner or a contractor. The items are insured and their insurance company advised them to file a police report.

FRAUD - Officers responded to Beacon St. for a fraud report where the reporting party shared that a "representative" from PayPal called them claiming that there's fraudulent activity in their account. The caller advised that the party needed to share pertinent information in order to resolve the fraudulent activity. After the party did so, they noticed unauthorized transactions on their PayPal account. The person contacted their banker and police. 

FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud where the victim shared that they were selling items on Craigslist and after the person shipped the items, the receiving party was not satisfied with the items and received a refund. The receiving party did not return all of the items, causing the reporting party to contact police.

BREAKING AND ENTERING - Officers responded to a past motor vehicle break in on Beacon Street. where the reporting party shared that when they returned to their parked vehicle, they saw that it was rummaged through and the front passenger door was ajar. Officers are currently receiving camera footage from a near by building.

ATTEMPTED LARCENY - Officers responded to Beacon St. for a report of larceny, where the reporting party shared that they witnessed someone attempt to steal items from a package. The suspect walked into the building and proceeded to open a box in the vestibule. The suspect was confronted by the reporting party and put the items back. Detectives are currently working with video surveillance of the incident in order to identify the suspect.

BREAKING AND ENTERING - Officers responded to a past breaking and entering of a motor vehicle on Beacon St. The victim stated that their car was parked in the rear parking lot of the building. The victim returned to their car in the morning and saw that their wallet was taken from their center console. Officers advised the victim to contact their banker and surveillance footage is currently being obtained from the building nearby.

BICYCLE THEFT - Officers responded to a stolen bicycle report on Beacon St. where the reporting party shared that their bike was stolen from their backyard. The victim shared footage of the incident since they had cameras in the rear of their building. Detectives are following up with a description of the suspect.

LARCENY- Officers responded to a larceny report on Marshal St. at around 8PM where the reporting party shared that they are missing checks from their checkbook. The party contacted police and their banker.

FRAUD - Officers responded to an identity fraud report where the reporting party shared that they were notified by their employer that they filed an unemployment claim. Since the party is still employed and did not file the claim, they contacted police and the unemployment hotline.

FRAUD - Officers responded to a fraud report on Babcock St. where the reporting party shared that their company's bank account had unauthorized checks deposited. The party's signatures appeared to be forged on the checks. At this time officers are attempting to contact the recipient of the checks and the party has contacted their banker.

LARCENY - Officers responded to a fraud report on Commonwealth Ave. where the service manager shared that someone had left the establishment without paying for the services they received. When attempting to charge the suspect's credit card, the manager found that it was fake. The ID provided by the suspect was also found to be fake. Officers are currently identifying the subject with a description of their car.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - Officers responded to a suspicious activity report on Lancaster Terrace at around noon where the reporting party shared that they observed a man in their backyard. The party shared that they expected builders to be working on their home, but only for the front yard, not the back. When the party confronted the man, they saw that he had a logo on their uniform shirt. The party called the company of the logo and was informed that their employees do not wear uniform shirts. This concerned the party and a search for surveillance footage is in the works.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to a package theft report on Pleasant St. around 1PM. The reporting party shared that they did not receive a package that they ordered. They shared that there may be surveillance cameras in the lobby of the building.

BURGLARY - Officers responded to a past residential breaking and entering on Verndale St. where the reporting parties shared that when they returned to their house from a shopping trip, they observed that their packages had been open. Upon further observance of their home, it was found that belongings such as electronics were missing. The opened packages were taken for processing fingerprints and officers are looking for cameras around the area.

FRAUD - Officers responded to a fraud report where the reporting party shared that they received a letter that they had filed an unemployment claim with the state of Arkansas. Since the party has never been to Arkansas, they contacted police.

LARCENY - Officers responded to a larceny report on Harvard St. at around 7PM where the victim shared that they were walking with their belongings in a shopping bag. At one point, they dropped the bag and when going to pick up the back, it was gone. The victim was advised to monitor their bank activity.

GRAFFITI - Officers responded to 2 reports of graffiti near Amory park. The graffiti seemed to have the same white spray paint so officers suspect the incidents to be related.

LARCENY - Officers responded to a report of larceny on Harvard St. at around 11AM. The reporting party shared that while shopping, they placed their purse in a shopping cart. The party recalled that while shopping, they had a peculiar conversation with a male subject. The party continued around the store and later noticed that their purse was missing from the shopping cart. Later the party was notified that charges were made on their cards. They contacted police and their bankers. 

FRAUD - Officers responded to an identity fraud report where the reporting party received a bank statement from a bank that they do not have an account with. The party contacted that banker to tell them that they never opened an account. 

ASSAULT - Officers responded to a report of a dispute on Beacon St. at around 11 AM. Officers addressed all the parties where they shared that the dispute was over tables being pushed at one of the parties. The dispute turned physical and the officers concluded that the parties will all be summonsed to court for simple assault.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers responded to a shoplifting report on Commonwealth Ave. at around 3PM where the reporting party shared that two males entered the store carrying backpacks. The surveillance footage reveals them leaving with product that they did not purchase. Officers are searching the area with the descriptions of the males. 

FRAUD - Officers responded to a fraud report where the victim shared that they received a text from their bank asking to confirm a purchase. Since they didn't make the transaction, their bank did not authorize the transaction. The victim never lost possession of their card. They were advised to monitor their accounts and personal information.

ROBBERY - Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person at an establishment on Commonwealth Ave. where an employee shared that there was a male in the store and he appeared to be under drugs or alcohol. The male used the bathroom and after was being uncooperative and disturbing the employees at the store. When he was asked to leave, he started to yell at a customer and he proceeded to forcibly remove the person's phone from their hands and refused to give it back. With the help of officers, the customer was able to recover their phone. Officers later reached out to establishments in the area for their surveillance footage.

BIKE THEFT - Officers responded to a bicycle theft report on Walnut St. where the reporting party shared that the theft must have occurred overnight. The victim will attempt to provide officers with the serial number and a picture of the bike.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers responded to a shoplifting report at noon time on Commonwealth Ave. where the employee shared that the suspect was a frequent shoplifter. The suspect often conceals the product in a bag and promptly leaves the store. Officers have a description of the suspect.

MV THEFT- Officers responded to a report of a stolen motorcycle on Kent St. where the victim shared that their motorcycle was pad locked to a fence. Officers have a license plate and description of the motorcycle.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to a report of package theft on Babcock St. where the report party shared that they never received their packages. When they were taking out the trash, they noticed packages ripped open near the dumpster with their name on it. Officers are attempting to obtain surveillance footage around the area.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY - Officers responded to Pond Ave at 9 PM for a report of someone being attacked. The party shared than when walking back to their building from their car, they were stopped by a male who demanded money from them. The victim did not carry any money but the suspect was adamant about the demand. The victim proved that they did not have money by showing what was in their bag. The victim was simultaneously moving closer to the door of their building in hopes that cameras would record the incident. The victim began yelling for help  causing someone from the building to come  out and called 911. The suspect left the area after.
