 Monday, August 9

BIKE THEFT - Officers responded to a call regarding a bike theft on Harvard St, where the reporting party shared the bike had been stored in the car port. Officers are looking into the matter further.

BAT EXPOSURE - Officers were contacted by a couple who reported they had trapped a bat that was flying in their bedroom. The police took custody of it to submit for rabies testing.


Tuesday, August 10

FOUND PROPERTY -  Officers found an unattended, unsecured bike at Still St. Due to the frequency of bike thefts in the area, the bike was retrieved for safekeeping.

BAT EXPOSURE - Officers were contacted by an individual who reported they had trapped a bat in their house. The police took custody of it to submit for rabies testing.


Wednesday, August 11

BAT EXPOSURE - Officers were contacted by an individual who reported they returned home to find their cat with a dead bat in its mouth. The cat is reportedly up to date with its shots, and the police took custody of the bat to submit for rabies testing.


Thursday, August 12

ATTEMPTED LARCENY - Officers responded to a call on Beacon St. regarding an attempted larceny of a scooter. The victim stated they found damage done to their scooter and belongings scattered around the garage, although nothing appears to have been taken. Officers are reviewing surveillance footage of the incident.

BIKE THEFT - Officers responded to a call on Harvard St. regarding a bike theft. The victim reported that she had secured her bike with a lock but, upon returning, the bike and lock were gone. Officers are looking into the matter further.


Friday, August 13

AUTOMOBILE THEFT - Officers were called to Winthrop Rd for a theft of a motor vehicle. The victim shared that they had last seen the vehicle the previous night and woke to find it missing. Officers are looking into the matter further.

ATTEMPTED BREAKING AND ENTERING - Officers responded to a call for an attempted breaking and entering of a motor vehicle on Rawson Rd.  The victim shared that they came upon someone rummaging through the vehicle. Nothing appears to have been taken.

SCAM - Officers responded to a claim of a recent scam. The victim shared that they received an email stated they needed renew their computer's operating system and requested a sum sent to a PayPal account. The victim was advised, and officers are looking further into the matter.

BURGLARY - Officers responded to a call regarding a burglary on Beacon St. A witness saw a man break into the store and called the police. Officers are looking for surveillance footage in the area.


Saturday, August 14

BIKE THEFT -  Officers responded to a call regarding a bike theft on Francis St. The victim stated they had secured their bike with a cable lock and returned the next morning to find the lock cut and bike missing. Officers are looking into the matter further.

BREAKING AND ENTERING - Officers responded to a call for a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle on Beacon St.  The victim shared that they observed bags missing from their vehicle upon their return. Officers are looking into the matter further.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to a call on High St. The victim shared that they received emails confirming the package's delivery, but the packages were gone. Officers are looking at surveillance footage in the area.


Sunday, August 15

GRAFFITI - Officers responded to a call on Beacon St for a report of graffiti tags on a building. 

MOPED THEFT - Officers responded to a call on Beacon St. regarding a reported scooter theft. The victim stated they had secured the moped with a chain, but upon their return, the chain was on the ground, unlocked. Officers are looking into the matter further.

FOUND PROPERTY - Officers responded to a call regarding an abandoned bike missing its seat and pedals. The bike was taken to the station for safekeeping.
