FEBRUARY 5, 2020

An officer took a report for a past assault and battery at a medical facility on Park St. The victim and her roommate disagreed with the volume of a radio. The roommate called for staff to assist in turning down the music. After turning off the radio, the victim called the staff member a derogatory term. The victim stated the staff member then struck her in the mouth. The case is under investigation.

An officer took a report for larceny from a motor vehicle at a medical facility on Heath St. The victim stated she parked her vehicle in the facilities garage between 3PM and 745PM. During this time the vehicle's front emblem was stolen.

JANUARY 30, 2020

An officer took a theft report from a residence on Clinton Rd. Solar panels kept in the backyard of the residence, while it is under construction were stolen sometime between January 28 and January 29.

Officers responded to a business on Harvard St for a shoplifting. The suspect stole a bottle of alcohol and fled the store. The suspect was stopped a short distance away and arrested.

An officer took a package theft report from a residence on University Rd. On January 29 between 9PM and 930PM, the package was delivered to the front door and the contents were stolen before the resident could retrieve it.

An officer took a package theft report from a residence on Beacon St. Between 912AM and 5PM, the package was delivered to the locked foyer area of the building and stolen.

JANUARY 31, 2020

Officers responded to a business on Commonwealth Ave for a shoplifting. The suspect walked out of the store with a laptop without paying. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

FEBRUARY 2, 2020

An officer took a report for an animal bite at a residence on Sewall Ave. The victim stated that at approximately 1130PM, a dog ran out of the apartment building and bit her thigh causing a superficial wound. The victim did not want to pursue the matter and just wanted a medical evaluation.

An officer took a report for an indecent assault and battery that occurred at the intersection of Beacon St and Hawes St. The victim stated that an individual was exhibiting bizarre behavior on the street as she and a friend walked by. After walking a distance away, the suspect ran up behind the victim and slapped her in the backside while holding a cigarette. The victim was uninjured. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

FEBRUARY 3, 2020

An officer responded to a medical facility on Babcock St for an assault and battery report. After interviewing the involved parties it was determined that an argument ensued between two patients after a misunderstanding. The argument turned physical when one patient kicked another and the other attempted to throw a punch. A scuffle ensued and a staff member was struck in the process. Both patients were summonsed for mutual assault and battery.

An officer responded to a business on Commonwealth Ave for a shoplifting. The suspect concealed a calculator in his jacket and walked out of the store. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

An officer took a report for an animal bite at a residence on Seaver St. The reporting person stated that her dog was outside in the backyard. At some point she heard her dog yelping in pain. Upon examination of her dog, a small puncture wound was observed on the dogs right side. It is unknown what kind of animal bit the dog.

FEBRUARY 4, 2020

An officer responded to a business on Harvard St for a shoplifting. The suspect concealed an item under his jacket and fled the store. Responding officers located the suspect who admitted to shoplifting. The suspect was summonsed for shoplifting.
