Monday, August 22

BIKE THEFT - Officers were called to Reservoir La for a report, where the reporting party shared that they stored their bike in the garage and returned a week later to discover it was missing.

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they received notification that fraudulent information had been added to their personal identifying information.

THEFT - Officers responded to Francis St for a report, where the reporting party shared that they left their motorized scooter on the front lawn and returned a few days later to discover it was missing.


Tuesday, August 23

BURGLARY - Officers were called to Boylston St for a report of a burglary. The matter is under investigation.

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Thornton Rd for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they left their vehicle unlocked in the driveway overnight and discovered the next morning that the registration and license plates had been removed. 

SCAM - Officers took a report, where the reporting party stated they received an email from someone claiming to be an acquaintance requesting that they purchase a series of gift cards and provide the information.


Wednesday, August 24

BURGLARY - Officers were called to Boylston St for a report of a burglary. The matter is under investigation.

SCAM - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they received a call alleging that their Xfinity account qualified for a promotion and that they needed to purchase various gift cards and provide the information to initiate it.

THEFT - Officers responded to Beacon St for a report, where the reporting party stated they left behind their backpack after a man approached them and began behaving erratically. When they returned a few minutes later, the backpack was missing.


Thursday, August 25

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that a check they had sent did not make it to the intended recipient and that the information had been altered.

ASSAULT - Officers were called to Westbourne Tr for a report of an altercation between two individuals. A male motorist confronted the victim, after they had honked their horn at him. He struck them then continued to act erratically. The perpetrator was summonsed to court.


Friday, August 26

BIKE THEFT - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report, where the reporting party shared they locked their bike outside for a few hours and returned to discover it was missing.

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party discovered someone had attempted to fill out a change of address for their mail.


Saturday, August 27

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to Park Vale for a report, where the reporting party stated they discovered that two packages had been delivered to an unsecured vestibule and had been opened. The contents of one of the packages were missing.

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party stated a male individual paid for services with fake US currency.

THEFT - Officers were called to Kilsyth Rd for a report, where the reporting party stated they left a stroller in an unsecured vestibule overnight and returned the next morning to discover it was missing.

MV THEFT - Officers responded to Harvard St for a report, where the reporting party shared they left their vehicle running and unlocked in the street. They returned fifteen minutes later to discover it was missing.


Sunday, August 28

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they received a text message stating a package was placed on hold and to follow a link to rectify the situation. The website requested personal information, and the victim later discovered fraudulent charges on their bank account. 

BURGLARY - Officers were called to Cutler La for a report of a burglary. The reporting party stated they returned home after a few days to discover their residence had been broken into and property was missing.
