At 8:27am, a larceny was reported at a residence on High Street. The caller said that multiple packages were stolen the previous week. A report was taken.


At 5:21pm, a caller on Thatcher Street reported the theft of a vehicle’s rear license plate. The license plate was taken the previous night. A report was taken.

At 9:16pm, a shoplifting was reported at a business on Beacon Street. Several male suspects were seen placing items into their clothing. Six suspects were arrested.

At 7:28pm, a third party caller reported the breaking and entering of two motor vehicles on Clinton Road. The caller believed the crime occurred on Saturday night. A phone and sunglasses were reported stolen. Officers will follow up with the victim.

At 8:46am, a larceny was reported on Marshal Street. A car parked in a lot had all four rims and wheels stolen. The caller was unsure about when the theft had occurred. A report was taken.

At 8:49pm, a resident on Winthrop Road called to report suspicious activity. A male claiming to be from a local news station had rung her doorbell. Unsure of what he wanted, the resident called the station, which stated that it had no reporters in the area. Officers searched the area, but could not find him.

1/8/2016
At 9:45am, officers responded to an Assault and Battery on Harvard Street. The officers resolved the issue, and the victim stated that they did not want to press charges.

1/9/2016
At 2:27pm, a caller reported their cell phone stolen from a business on Beacon Street. The victim’s friend gave a description of a suspicious male possibly attempting to take the phone earlier. The possible suspect was described as a white male in his 30s, about 5’6”, with dark hair and wearing a black shirt and black pants. A report was taken.

1/10/2016
At 11:17am, a Breaking and Entering was reported on Tappan Street. Two bikes were taken from the property. A report was taken.

At 6:22pm, an attempted larceny was reported at a residence on Eliot Street. Two packages were opened but left behind. All contents were still there. A report was taken.
