FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they they discovered numerous fraudulent purchases on their credit card that spanned several days. The matter is under investigation.

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers took a report of malicious damage that occurred on Washington St. The reporting party stated they parked their vehicle in their assigned parking spot in the evening and discovered that the driver's side mirror had been smashed at some point during the night. The matter is under investigation.

ANIMAL BITE - Officers responded to Downes Field for a report of a dog bite. The reporting party stated they were working at the field when a small dog lunged at and bit them. A follow up will be conducted with Animal Control.


Wednesday, April 27

FRAUD - Officers were called to Stearns Road for a report of identity theft. The reporting party stated they received a notification that their social security number had been used to issue a fraudulent license. The matter is under investigation.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers responded to Beacon St for a report of shoplifting. The reporting party stated an individual refused to pay for items they had scanned and then proceeded to leave with the merchandise. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they discovered a fraudulent check was posted to their account and deposited out of state. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they discovered fraudulent activity on their bank account in the form of multiple unauthorized transactions. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they learned that someone had filed for unemployment using their personal information. The matter is under investigation.

BIKE THEFT - Officers responded to Tappan St for a report of an attempted bicycle theft. The reporting party stated a male individual had approached the bike rack and through a lock in an attempt to steal one of the bikes stored there. The reporting party confronted him, and the individual fled the area. The suspect was apprehended and placed under arrest for attempted larceny and malicious damage.

MOPED THEFT - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report of a stolen scooter. The reporting party stated a male individual had taken their motorized scooter without their permission. The suspect will be summonsed to court for larceny.


Saturday, April 30

ASSAULT - Officers responded to Beacon St for a report of an assault. The reporting party stated that they were driving two individuals through a ride share, when one of the passengers tried to change the drop-off location without paying the additional fare. When the driver told them to exit their vehicle, the male passenger struck him in the head multiple times. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they received a call from the bank about suspected fraudulent activity on their account. They discovered that a check they had previously written had been altered and then cashed without their consent. The matter is under investigation.

LARCENY - Officers took a report of a theft. The reporting party stated that they noticed the front and back license plates were missing from their vehicle. The matter is under investigation.


Sunday, May 1

BURGLARY - Officers were called to Ashville Rd for a report of a male trespassing on the property. The reporting party stated the individual cut through the zip ties securing the gate and attempted to take a box from the site, but they fled the area when the alarms were activated. The matter is under investigation.

AUTO PARTS THEFT - Officers were called to Longwood Av for a report of a larceny. The reporting party stated they left their vehicle unattended in an open-air parking lot for a few months and discovered that the catalytic converter had been removed. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers responded to Vernon St for a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they received a letter from the Department of Revenue informing them about their unemployment compensation, which they had not applied for. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers were called to Pearl St for a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they received a Facebook message from a friend claiming they had won a prize and to contact a third party. The third party demanded payment for shipping in the form of gift cards. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers responded to Clinton Rd for a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they discovered someone had altered then cashed a check they had written. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers were called to Washington St for a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they discovered checks that appeared to be fraudulent. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they received a letter from the Department of Commerce regarding an unemployment assistance claim, which they did not apply for. The matter is under investigation.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers responded to Harvard St for a report of shoplifting. The reporting party stated an individual took merchandise from a display then proceeded to leave without paying for them. The individual will be summonsed to court for shoplifting.


Saturday, April 23

BURGLARY - Officers were called to Longwood Av for a report of breaking and entering. The reporting party stated an individual had broken into their apartment by way of the window. The suspect has been placed under arrest for breaking and entering.

LARCENY - Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Perry St. The reporting party stated they stored belongings in a shared basement unit for a few months and recently discovered that they were now missing. The matter is under investigation.

MV THEFT - Officers responded to Harvard St for a report of a motor vehicle theft. The reporting party stated they left their vehicle running in a parking lot, and when they returned approximately five minutes later, it was gone. The vehicle has since been recovered. The matter is under investigation.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers were called to Harvard St for a report of shoplifting. The reporting party stated an individual left the store with merchandise without paying. The suspect will be summonsed to court for shoplifting.
