Police Reports 3/9-3/12

Arrest: Occurred on 3/9 at 2:11 PM- Kent St.

A vehicle took a left turn from Longwood Ave. to Kent St. through a red traffic signal. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Kent St. A query of the operator’s information revealed that he had a suspended license. The driver was placed under arrest and charged with Operating after Suspension.

Arrest: Occurred on 3/10 at 2:20 AM- Beacon St.

A vehicle made an illegal left turn from Harvard St on Beacon St. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Beacon St. A query of the operator’s information revealed that his license was suspended. It was also confirmed that the operator had a default warrant out of Brookline District Court and a straight warrant out of Malden District court. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension and the two warrants.

Arrest: Occurred on 3/10 at 7:15 AM- Harvard St.

A vehicle was traveling on Harvard St. without a front license plate. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Harvard St. A query of the operator’s information revealed that the driver’s license was expired and non-renewable. The operator was placed under arrest and charged with Not Duly Licensed.

Shoplifting: Occurred on 3/10 at 6:20 PM- Harvard St.

An officer observed a subject in a Harvard St. Walgreens remove items from a shelf and place them in a bag inside her shopping cart. The officer observed the subject leave the business without paying for said items. The subject entered a vehicle and pulled out of the parking lot onto Aspinwall Ave, where the officer conducted a traffic stop. A Walgreens employee positively identified the items as being from that store. A query of the subject’s information revealed that she had warrants out of Roxbury, Brighton, Brookline, and West Roxbury. She was placed under arrest for Shoplifting and the warrants.

Arrest: Occurred on 3/11 at 6:08 PM- Washington St.

A vehicle took an illegal right turn at a red traffic signal from Beacon St. onto Washington St. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Washington St. A query of the driver’s information revealed that his Virginia driver’s license was suspended and that he did not have a valid Massachusetts license. The operator was placed under arrest and charged with Not Duly Licensed.

Larcenies: Occurred on 3/8 between 3:15 and 4:45 PM- Greenough St.

A security officer at Brookline High School reported several larcenies from the girl’s locker room. It was reported that four students had items stolen from backpacks that had been in the locker room. These larcenies all occurred on the same day and in the same time frame.
